You are not sweating that much, but your heart is still beating. You sat up for about five whole minutes hoping that the dream would go away. You had been looking at your door to see if it would come. But thankfully nothing came. You then lay back down to try to go back to sleep. But your eyes lay wide awake. You can’t seem to fall back asleep. This was serious. You toss and turn trying to find that spot for you to sleep. But you can’t find it. But then, something clicked into your head. What if Fluttershy helped you. You do live with her and you also know, That Fluttershy is the kindest pony ever. And the nicest friend you have ever met. She would one hundred percent cheer you up. Besides you do have to get some sleep because you have school tomorrow. And you surely do not want to be falling asleep in class. You were about to get up from your bed to go to Fluttershy’s room, When the door opened. You started to get scared because what if that’s the monster of your dream. You were about to freak out, until a pink and yellow mare entered. It was Fluttershy. It turns out you don’t have to go to her room because she came to you. She walks towards you and starts to speak. “Hey, I heard you scream. i wanted to come to see if everything is okay.” You did scream when you woke up. So it did make sense to see that she heard you scream. “Is everything okay?” She asked. You then knew that if you told Fluttershy about your dream. Then she can help you go to sleep. So you tell her that you had a nightmare. “You had a nightmare?” She asked. You nodded. You did have one and you need her help to do something about it. “Oh, i see.” You look down on the ground looking at your sheets. “Well, i can sleep with you if you want.” You were shocked to realize that Fluttershy will stay with you for the whole night. You never thought about asking her to sleep with her. Even though kids do it almost all the time. “So is that a yes?” She asked. She was indeed waiting for a response. You nod and scoot away so Fluttershy can climb in. “Okay.” She climbed into your bed and looked at you dearly. You were nervous. You were not sure if you should ask about the dream. But that is probably the reason the Fluttershy came to you in the first place. To get you back to sleep. And if you didn’t tell her about the dream. She probably can’t help you. But she might not even ask anyways. “So do you want to tell me what happened in your dream? You don’t have to. i’m just curious.” You then look down. She wants to know what happened. But you want to tell her because she is your friend. And she likes making ponies happy. Next to Pinkie Pie. But you knew what you have to do and told her your nightmare from start to finish. “Oh dear. That is awful. You then started to feel tears coming up. But you tried to hold them back. Fluttershy then started to be more concerned about the fact that you were trying not to cry. But then you started letting your tears out. You could not hold them in any longer. You then buried your face into Fluttershy’s chest and you feel a hoof rubbing the back of your head. “It’s okay, I’m here now.” Fluttershy said humming to a soft tune. You could not stop crying. You were trying so hard. But you can’t hold in your tears long though. You then started to cry less and just started to breathe heavy. Fluttershy meanwhile, Was still by your side, With her wing wrapped around your back. You then realize that you should probably let go so Fluttershy can have some space to breathe as well. But you didn’t want to let go. You feel safe this way. Buried in a pink and yellow mares chest. You then let go and sat back up. “I’m glad i came to help you.” Fluttershy said. You then agreed to her sentence. She was happy to help you through the night and try to go back to sleep. “But you know. I’m feeling a little tired. But i don’t mind staying up for a bit longer.” You looked into her eyes with her sweet smile that was on her face. But then you realize that you also have a secret that you have not told her. But you decided to leave it. It was not important right now. the now with Fluttershy in your bed helping you was more important. “Um. I want to ask you something.” You look at your friend. wondering to yourself what she wants to ask. “Do you want to snuggle me?” A rush of red spread across your cheeks. She wants to snuggle you? Honestly, You did want to snuggle. Her fur is comfy and so is her mane. You nod at her question. “Well i’m glad. Lie down then.” She said. You both lie down and Fluttershy grabs the blankets and pulls them closer to you both. She opens up both of her wings and wraps them around you and pulls you closer to her. You then wrap your arms around her hoping that she would not mind. Thankfully, she did not mind at all. You then started to scratch the back of her ears. And Fluttershy lets out a puring sound. But of course she is not a cat though. After you stop. You decided to tell her the secret. Because now was the time she knew what you were hiding. Even though you have been friends for almost a year now. You then told her the secret which is telling her you love her. You closed your eyes tightly because you didn’t want her to get mad. “Aww. I love you too.” You opened them and Fluttershy gives you a kiss on the cheek. She was not mad at all. As the both of you lie there snuggling. You felt tired. So you buried your face in Fluttershy’s chest, And felt the soft fur that is helping you fall asleep. Fluttershy then rubbed the back of your head and smiled. “Good night. I love you.” She says before you fell asleep.
