Daring Do in the Cradle of life
Call to action!
It was a rainy autumn morning in Canterlot when Daring Do got a letter.
She opened the package, found a letter and some tickets and maps.
The letter said:
Dear Daring Do,
We are sorry to interrupt your time of rest, but we got contacted by the Ambassador of the Federation of the Old Continent.
He insists that you should help them investigate a series of strange events in their tropical area.
Namely Cunabula vitae area of the ancient forest on that subcontinent.
The maps we have provided you, along with a talk with the ambassador and later with the Governor of the land can help you into getting ahead with your work.
The ambassador also provided you with tickets, on a high class airship heading there.
He said that he will have a talk with you.

"Just great", thought Daring. "I can't even have a proper vacation nowadays."
Considering it was only morning, our heroine had to cut many of her plans she had for the next few days and get to the University library.
She had to make some research on the area. She mostly learned about the flora and fauna, and some old myths that she simply thinks about as old fairy tales. The day flew past her and she noticed that it is getting late so she headed home, filled with a sadness about her lack of social life, suspicion about having to deal with OCs and curiosity about that land.
After having dinner she took a bath, she knew that she won't get one for a long time again.
In her home's bathroom she made a nurturing and relaxing bath.
"I really needed this" She said to herself as the hot water and the foam gently licked her well toned yet soft body.
She breathed deeply, her entire body was relaxed and felt alive. The blood in her was pulsing tenderly, her heart had a peaceful beat. As she put her right front leg slowly in between her two hind legs. With some massage in the right place, her clearing of mind was much faster. She got away from her worries, and only felt good for a little time. Everybody deserves a little time to worship their own body, as it need the care.
Daring got out of the bath, she felt completely calm and rejuvenated
She spread her strong wings so her feathers can dry in the lukewarm autumn wind.
"Tomorrow I'll start a journey, I feel I always wanted to do." She said quietly to herself as she looked at the sleeping Canterlot. Only the Moon's light shined in the dark among the stars, it made the ivory white marble and precious metals look even more magnificent than they are in the yellow light of the Sun.
She slowly got to bed, her naked body was warmly hugged by her blanket, pillow and mattress.
She fell asleep soon thus ending her day.
Daring felt the loving rays of the Sun on her face, she opened her beautiful eyes and...
her serenity instantly turned into stress as she realized that she overslept!
"Damn clock, only stops working when I need it."
She quickly packed her equipment, change of clothes and some books to read on the way to her destination.
She put up her hat, and shirt.
"I'll look like a tourist but at least I am not naked, competely, around snobs."
She turned off everything she must have done, closed the door and flew.
She flew as fast as she can, the drops of sweat simply raced on the silhouette of her body some simply fell others evaporated to make their creator's hot situation more bearable.
After getting trough the maze of towers and spires she saw the station, she made it in time.
As she landed on the ground she was breathing randomly, and felt a bit dizzy.
Not to mention her shirt was wet and smelt like her a lot.
She walked to the gate and said to the pony sitting there.
"Is Airship "Heavenly shipping" still in the dock?"
The guard replied.
"Yes, it is. Can I see your ticket Ms. ?"
Daring gave her ticket to the check in, and the staff made sure that her luggage gets on the ship safe.
Now, she could chill a bit, but not too much as she felt good old sensation in her belly.
"Damn, I forgot to have some food. I'll kill that clock one day."
Whispered angrily as she looked at the Airship.
It was a new model, big and proud. The chrome decorations along with the bright blue painting gave it a dynamic form.
The passenger compartment was right in front of her, she boarded safely and got a little amazed of the rich wood interiors.
When she checked in she got a key to room 34.
Now she is looking for that room to get her things together before eating something, or somebody.
Her room had the same design as the other interiors, there was a Picture of Celestia looking directly at the bed painted in a classical style. Her bed and it's accessories were red and white, it looked quite comfy.
After she finished putting her thing into their place she got a shower, and put up a new shirt and went to the bar of the ship.
The air was filled with music from the big band, also smoke lots of it.
Beside eating she was supposed to meet the ambassador here, she started to look around to get her business done but she got found by him.
"Greeting Ms. Daring." Said a gravely voice.
She turned around and saw a stallion waving from the next to a big table filled richly with all kind of foods and drinks.
"Take a seat"
Daring sat down next to him and greeted the ambassador.
The two had some small talk, also feasted and drank.
After a few hours, Daring said: "Get to the point."
The ambassador put on a more serious tone compared to the last few hours.
"There are some things happening in the region we can't find out.
Mostly the vegetation and the natural resources seems to be dying.
Our scientist simply can't figure out what happens there."
Daring jokingly said:
"Were OCs go, everything dies. What a strange coincidence."
"This is not a time for humor." Replied the stallion.
"Any suggestions what could be the cause of this?"
Daring with a more worried tone said: "I don't know. This isn't like anything I have seen before. I'll be able to know more when I get there."
The ambassador smiled.
"I am glad that you are already working on the case, I would like to ask a private question before leaving our meeting."
Daring looked at the stallion.
"Yes?"
The gravely voice stated:
"You are one pretty mare, your body is so pretty it sure deserves some intimate admiration.
How about, you know make use of that resource to make our relationship a bit more deep?"
Daring with a smile on her face slowly turned to the ambassador and spoke in to the ear of his.
The ambassador's heart started to pump fast also the sweet smell of Daring defeated the scent of cigar smoke flying around...
The simple word she said, ruined his expectations.
"No."
With a blush on his face the ambassador pretty much changed the subject instantly.
Our heroine only smiled at the stallions confusion and falling apart image of coolness.
After a half an hour daring left the restaurant, and got to read some books in her room.
She realized that her dirty, sweaty shirt is missing.
"Oh well, it's not like anything that I can't replace".
Without thinking too much about it she got to bed.
On the next day she woke up on time, the alarm clock here is working for a change!
She went to the restaurant to have some breakfast, and to accidentally find her missing shirt.
The breakfast wasn't too bad, but she had enough of the wine and the juice, in fact her body starts to remind her that this would be the most ideal time to get to the bathroom.
She ran there...
As she sat and got rid of the old cooling fluid she hear a voice enjoying himself too much.
After finishing her biological duty, she stood up to the toilet and peeked into to the cabin next to her.
The ambassador and daring's old shirt had a good time there.
Daring, took a deep breath and shouted.
"Booyah! You bloody wanker."
Daring started to laugh.
The ambassador was speechless, and made her shirt even dirtier from out of shock.
Daring with a bored face then left the bath room after a few minutes the stallion ran after her.
"Please, don't mention it to anypony. My career depends on it."
She stopped and turned back slowly, and got close to him again to whisper.
"There is that expensive champagne in the bar. The one made with magic and love.
Buy me that bottle, laundry boy."
Full of shame he ran of to the bar while she got back to her room.
A valiant voice said in the loudspeaker.
"We will arrive in thirteen minutes, everypony please get back to your rooms."
The ambassador got her the Champagne. And daring said.
"Ciao."
The Heavenly shipping was about to land in biggest town in the area. It had a different architecture from Canterlot. The buildings were mostly made out of rock mined from the mountains and lots of wood. The air was hot and the humidity was high. While most ponies felt sick thanks to the different climate Daring felt at home.
After making some procedures The passenger who wanted to exit here left the new ones got on to get their things done.
The helium tanks of the airship were refilled, to make sure it will stay lighter than air.
Also the new crew of ponies who actually gave power to the huge propellers replaced the old, tired one.
Daring took some steps in the sunshine, and simply stopped to enjoy the sight for a while.
It wasn't long until a cute mare got there and greeted her.
"Welcome Ms Daring!"
