Whirrs and whispers of glowing magic sounded out around her as she watched her most updated projection appear on the screen in front of her. Her magic depicted a clear scene before her, a scene she wished she wasn't still seeing; A scene she'd wished she had changed by now. She grunted in frustration and dissolved the magic projection in front of her. She stormed around her stark white room, scolding herself for failing once again. After she finished degrading herself, she took a deep breath in, and she exhaled slowly. She cast her magic again, rematerializing a magic screen in front of herself. She combed through the depths of the timeline, searching through eons of Equestrian history, watching scenes of the past play out before her, desperately looking for something that could help her.

A certain blip of time caught her eye as she was searching. A group of three ponies, two earth ponies and one unicorn, saving their town from an army of clones. This was new. She scrolled forward into their futures, watching as they attended the Grand Galloping Gala and reformed the infamous King Sombra. This group seemed like quite an important presence on the timeline. She scrolled forward into their futures and the futures that would await long after they were gone. She ran the calculations and projections in her head. She worked out the equations of their existences within the grand scheme of the universe. It was then that she realized she had found her next targets. Their removal would be necessary for her end goal to come to fruition.

She zeroed in on an easy extraction point, singling out one of her target ponies: Ginger Blush. She watched as she and her stallion, Savoir Fare, wandered the streets of Canterlot, completely oblivious to her watching eyes. She closed her magic projection and prepared to get to work.
