Hundreds of years into the future, darkness is brewing in the farthest corners of Equestria, stirring ancient rivalries between the ponies, griffins, and dragons. Now, the princesses must turn the descendants of the first bearers of the Elements of Harmony into soldiers, ones capable of winning a war against all the forces in Equestria if the world is to survive, but can six average ponies wield the power of the Elements of Harmony? Can they live up to the paragons of their ancestors? Or will they fall and break before the tide of darkness?
