With her need for release screaming itself into her mind, eventually something finally changed. The raging inferno of need seemed to condense and cause the building pressure inside her to ignite as an endless torrent of magic blasted through her. It felt like the magic flowing through her would scour her very soul clean as it gushed out from her horn. The pull on it from the cone suddenly ramping up and up, as if trying to rip every drop of magic from her.
At the same time, the black pearl’s power ramped up in response to the torrent of magic, and Twilight felt the pony behind her clamp their lips to Twilight’s and she felt their tongue find a glowing ember somewhere inside twilight and lash it with swirling strokes. If Twilight had still been capable of thought, she might have reflected on how it was possible the pleasure assaulting her very soul could possibly be intensified, but she wasn’t, and she didn’t. It all happened anyway.
Twilight’s world stopped, and everything was washed away in a brilliant flash of lavender light that was blinding even through her blindfold. Her eyes rolled back in her head, and the lavender star now exploding into life before her blasted through her being and her mind gave up, shattering into fragments of darkness still screaming for release. Twilight’s body abruptly slumped and went limp in her bonds and she knew no more.
Eventually wisps of thought slowly returned to Twilight, the world had gone still and sluggish. Nothing seemed to be moving around her as she tried to rebuild her shattered mind back into coherent thoughts. The first one that took root was her awareness that she hurt, everywhere, and every muscle was limp with exhaustion.
The second thought Twilight grasped onto was her need, boiling deep inside like a vast pool of water beneath the earth gathering heat to power another violent eruption. The third, was the realization that magic no longer flowed through her horn. Twilight gasped out a mewling whine of panic as she waited for the twisting agony the cap on her horn would make the pearl subject her to in response to its unsated hunger.
When the Twisting nausea did not come however, she realized she could not feel her magic at all, likely drained in its entirety for now with nothing remaining to power the pearl.
Through her blindfold, despite the lack of magical flow, she could still see a purple glow before her. Twilight briefly wondered at how bright it must be, to penetrate the darkness of her isolation that sealed her off from all other light in the room before her thoughts slipped away into a comforting haze.
Twilight’s ear twitched as hot breath blew over it for several seconds before she could pick out the words being cooed lovingly to her. “—wonderful glow so bright, my little Firefly. You did so well. This time was the best yet. How are you feeling, my pretty little pri—”
Twilight came to once again, a gentle thrum of pleasure tickling at her mind as the tiniest trickle of magic flowed through her. With a shuddering gasp she stretched her wings out to her sides on instinct to relieve their sore muscles, and quickly realized they were no longer bound outstretched above her.
“Welcome back, little Firefly. That must have taken more out of you than I thought. You’ve been asleep for hours. I hope you don’t mind I ate my fill while you were out, but I couldn’t resist any more after… Well, everything.” Twilight wasn’t sure what the pony meant, but her mind was too lost drifting in a sea of gentle pleasure to worry about it.
Twilight let out a deep sigh as she felt the ember of need still burning down somewhere inside her subconscious. After everything that happened, she still never got to feel that pressure give way to an explosion of relief, and although her needs had quieted for the moment, she could tell she was obviously still in an enforced heat.
Twilight felt a hoof gently stroking her head. “I know my pet, it’s still there, isn’t it? For as long as your new little friend is around, it always will be. It feels wonderful though, doesn’t it? Knowing you will never be alone again; the need and pleasure will always keep you company. Don’t try to reach for your magic right now, but I went and ahead and removed the blocking ring while you were asleep.
“You won’t have enough magic for anything for a while, but when you do, remember that horn cap is still there. Using magic will take quite a bit of practice though, remember what happens when magic flows through it. You might want to keep your practice somewhere private until you get a handle on things. What in Equestria would your little ponies think of their pretty princess collapsing to the floor gasping and squirming every time she tries to levitate something about.
“You will also want to tell everypony that new little ornament on your horn is part of your regalia from now on. Your little pearl won’t be very pleased to find its new partner missing after all. I’m sure you can figure out how it’s likely to show its displeasure, yes? While we are adding new regalia, I also have a wonderful new pendant for you to wear as well.” As the pony finished, Twilight felt something slip over her head and a soft weight settle around her neck from a chain.
“The pendant on that is a seed of Alicorn Crystal. It will absorb all the extra magic your horn cap draws. With it, you will eventually be the brightest little Firefly there ever was, and someday I’m sure you will find some use or another for it. For now, though, I think we need to wrap this little session up. Your assistant has been tapping on the door every few minutes for the last hour or so.” The pony stopped stroking Twilight’s head and gave a heavy sigh before unstrapping Twilight’s muzzle without using their magic and leaned down to embrace her in a long passionate kiss before stepping away.
Twilight heard magic again and her blindfold slipped away, momentarily blinding her with light. She immediately tried to turn her head to see the other pony. She found she was still bound looking forward however, and the blinders she still wore kept her from seeing anything besides the artifact and a line of gems sitting on the table in front of her, an empty space in the lineup where the black pearl had once been.
A quick brilliant flash of green light dazzled Twilight, and she felt new thoughts bubble to the surface of her mind, overwhelming her as she felt something shatter inside her psyche. “Oh, and remember to wrap all those toys up and keep them safe. Next time I think the Topaz might be fun.”
Twilight’s mind was still scattered and grasping at stray thoughts after the green flash had shattered the box keeping her memories sealed, but on reflex she managed to whisper in a croaked raspy voice, “Yes mistress. Thank you.”
“I’ll ask Ink Drop to bring you some water on my way out. You sound a little horse, my Firefly. You be a good little princess now; I’m sure Equestria will be keeping you busy for a while.”
“Thanks.” Twilight repeated, wincing at the word play. It was all she could muster the energy to say as she heard the pony walking away. However, at the sound of magic and the feel of the rest of her bonds falling away, Twilight managed to overcome her sore muscles and find the energy to twist her head in time to see a white wing tip wave gently in her direction before vanishing from sight down the hallway beyond the room’s doorway. With a gentle smile Twilight settled herself back down to rest.
Sometime later, a timid and quiet voice intruded on Twilight’s peace. “Princess? I have some water for you. Your session seemed to be running a little long today, so I moved your meeting with the Griffon ambassador to tomorrow after court. However, you still have a meeting with the representative from Hor em Aket, and I’m afraid Abu Hol might take it as an insult if I try and move it again.”
With a resigned sigh Twilight accepted the glass of water from her assistant. “Thank you, Ink Drop I’ll be ready shortly.” Feeling her unfulfilled need still bubbling deep within reminded Twilight, and with a quick sniff she added, “Please call my attendants, I need a bath first.
“Yes Princess.” With a quick bow Ink Drop spun around and trotted quickly from the room, trying to hide a crimson blush.
Quickly gulping down the water and setting the cup aside, Twilight settled her chin back down onto the framework still holding her up. Sporting a goofy grin, she let out a happy little sigh before her eyes noticed a sheet of paper sitting on the table next to the left-over gems. When she tried to pick it up with her exhausted magic a small wave of pleasure washed over her, but nothing else happened, her magic had still not recovered enough to be useful. With an exhausted but happy sigh, Twilight gave up and lifted her head enough to read the note where it lay.

As Twilight settled back down to relax, she swung her tail down to cover her privates only to jerk with a gasp as pleasure bloomed in her clit. She quickly hiked her tail back up to drape over her back. Court was going to be very interesting for the next while. She idly wondered if she could get away with banning the press from the palace for a few weeks. With a quiet laugh Twilight closed her eyes and cut her mind adrift to rest until her attendants showed up.
