Daring do landed gently on her hooves, before she slowly trotted in the bar, slowly she looked at me, whom was staring at her with no emotion on my face.

...
"Hey stud."

Silence.

...

...

She raised an eyebrow, "Is something wrong?"

More silence. I continued to stare at her, my unblinking expression unnerving her slightly.

"Hello..." she said waving a hoof in front of my face.

There was another moment of silence.

This silence stretched to an eternity.

"Daring." I said, my voice sickly calm, it made her take a step back in surprise and a hint of nervousness that contradicted her personality from what I have seen."

"Did you...take anything from my room." I didn't even ask her why she left without saying goodbye or checking me to see if she was alright before she left. The fact that she stole something was my main priority.

She didn't say anything, but her reaction told her answer of my question.

Her eyes went wide, and she flinched, like my words struck her core.

I closed my eyes before I gently climbed down from my stool and trotted to face her. I stared at her hard, we were nose to nose, a small blush came onto her face, as she leaned down and puckered her lips, in what i assume that is what she wanted.

I took a deep breath...using my anger as fuel, trying to use what...fluttershy called magic, to my advantage, trying to feel the feeling and combine it with my anger.

Slowly but surely my horn began to glow, and right before she kissed me.

Attempted to kiss, me, my horn glowed, and I attacked...

BANG!

Tried...

Tried to attack.

For the record, that bang was not my attack but rather my back impacting the wall as I was sent screaming across the room. Once again falling face first onto the ground.

Daring's eyes widened as she rushed to my side, "What the...are you alright.."

"Get...out." I said with a growl...

She shook her head vigorously, "I can't leave you like-"

She was cut off as I practically kicked her out of the building myself, I slowly got up and trotted slowly towards the door, "You're banned here, don't come back, " I shut the door. Once I locked the door I slumped down on my hooves clutched in my head groaning, now what's worse than someone stealing you're ps5 fucking up in front of someone whom you're trying to punish, that was just embarrassing.

Daring DO just stood there, frozen, unsure of what just happened she just stared at the door for what felt like forever What the buck just..

... just happened.

wait.. before she her mind traveled through different possibilities to why he would possibly be upset with her, she couldn't it wasn't her fault unless, no he couldn't possibly....have found out so quickly could he? he didn't even give her a chance to explain herself, not that she would tell him such confidential information. But still.

I walked out of the bathroom wrapping bandages around my forehead, before I slowly went back to the other room, climbed up my stool and slowly but surely I...slumped onto the chair, waiting.

"Yes..." to my first...stallion? What a surprise...my first stallion, "Welcome to my bar how may I help you."

"Your bar?" he asked,

"Yup." I said popping the p, he actually didn't look that bad to be honest, just like everyone else, but he was a male. I was happy just to see a male.

"How may I help you."

"You don't have a mare?" he asked.

"Nope." I said staring at him, "So this place is..."

"mine." I said, causing him to stare at me in slight awe, His eyes found my bandage, "You..."

"Accident..." I said..cutting him off, causing him to flinch.

RIght." He shifted nervously,

"May I have your name?" I asked tilting my head curiously.

"Carrot cake." I stared flatly at him.

"May I have your real name."

"C-carrot cake is my real name s-sir."

I stared at him for another moment longer, before I...rubbed my forehead again and sighed, "I...don't think I am ever getting used to the names, call me james, what are you looking for."

"S-some cider would be nice...."

"I see..." I walked back, and gave him some Cider... he handed me some bits, and I nodded in thanks...

"You seem like a great guy, your wife treating you right?" I asked.

"Y-yeah, but she can be too caring." he replied meekly, he flinched at mu harden tone, "E-er...not that their I am against it or anything."

"Carrot." I said sternly, but softly, "If you don't like it you can tell me."

"I-ts.." He took a deep breath before swallowing..."it's not that I don't like it...it's just...just that I....it's too much,"

I smiled at him, "was that so hard?" I asked

"Now answer me this, why is it too much." he swallowed thickly before answering.

"The cuddles, the kissses, the nonstop pampering, like I am somepony weak, I...I know we are weaker than mares b-but we are not toys...w-we...we can do stuff too!"

My smile grew...."Indeed we can, just look at me."

He looked at me and nodded slowly.

I got off of my stool and walked over to him, placing my hoof on his shoulder,

" Now here is what I want you to do.." I told him gently, " when you leave here, I want you to go to your wife, and explain to her...I want you to explain to her what you just told, me."

"I ...what?" the pure fear in his eyes, pissed me off for some reason.

"I want you to go to her and tell that to her face."

"She won't listen to me," he spoke barely above a whisper.

"Then you leave..."

"I will be looked down upon I...I still love her-"

"Listen to me." I growled cutting him off, "You want things to change right?"

He flinched but nodded, "You want things to change...then it comes with a sacrifice...my land faced similar problems in the past, people died, to make the world a better place...you want to be treated as an equal, you want future generations to be treated like an equal? You need...you need to make that choice, to stand up for yourself today. Understand me? And if your wife does not support you...she doesn't love you. Because that is what you need."

He still looked fearful, but I could see a spark of something, stirring, "I...I don't know..."

"Think about it." I said with a smile, "Have a good day, and I wish your wife a happy Birthday."

I went back to the counter, he stared at me for a moment longer...before he turned...and walked away.

As he closed the door behind him, my mind raced in impossible emotions.all at once, before I just took a deep breath, and leaned my chin back on the desk, sighing.
