Ponyville, Equestria. Ponyville. Now that's a name that anypony haven't heard in a long time. Just kidding! But anyways, the quiet town of Ponyville is well known for being the site where Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends became the Element Bearers and where everyday life can be kinda quirky with weird and crazy antics. Normal everyday citizens go around their lives, always getting used to the craziness like it's a part of everyday life and in this town lived a lesbian couple.
One is a unicorn mare named Lyra Heartstrings; she had an aquamarine coat, gamboge eyes, a mint mane and tail, and a cutie mark of a lyre. She was born in Canterlot and studied at the best school in Equestria: Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and she was close friends with Minuette, Moondancer, Lemon Hearts, Twinkleshine, and even Twilight Sparkle herself. A lyrist who is a daydreamer, she moved in Ponyville during the Summer Sun Celebration which was also the return of Nightmare Moon and that's where Lyra met the love of her life.
This love of her life was none other than an Earth Pony mare named Sweetie Drops or Bon Bon as she's called by others; she had a light apple greenish gray coat, arctic blue eyes, a cobalt blue with light fuchsia striped mane and tail, and a cutie mark of a candy trio with blue and yellow stripes. A candymaker who is also a former secret agent that worked with S.M.I.L.E., she lived in Ponyville all her life but sometimes visited other landmarks as well and during the said Summer Sun Celebration, that was where she met the mare that changed her life.....forever.
When the unicorn and the Earth Pony first met, it was love at first sight. It started out first as just small conversation but then it turned into hang out with their close friends, Octavia Melody, Vinyl "DJP0N-3" Scratch, Derpy Hooves,& Dr. Whooves, and all of a sudden, it turned into romantic dates which we are going to do right now.
In their house, Lyra and Bon Bon were getting themselves prepared to go on a date. They've fixed themselves to make the both of them look pretty and neat. Lyra wore a simple but pretty white dress with gold trimmings while Bon Bon wore a stunning blue and yellow dress along with a white bowtie in it as well as a watch. The Earth Pony mare decided to give her unicorn marefriend a beautiful sunflower in which she placed it on her mane and Lyra blushed on what Bon Bon placed on her mane knowing that she wanted it to be a date they'll never forget.
They left the house and after locking the front door, the couple walked towards the local fancy restaurant. The bright sky that illuminated the night along with the shining stars and the bright moon was a sight to be awed and amazed, courtesy by no other than the one and only Princess Luna. The breeze was a bit chilly but it also soothed their nervous nerves and finally, Lyra and Bon Bon made it to the restaurant and told the waiter of the reservation they made there during the morning.
The waiter beckoned the lesbian couple to follow him as they made their way to the reserved seating. The reserved seating to be said was near the window where the moon illuminated beautifully so that they can marvel at it's beauty. Lyra and Bon Bon opened their menus and chose the meals that they wanted to eat tonight and when the couple were done thinking on what they're going to order, Bon Bon signaled the waiter and told him their order; Lyra wanted an onion soup with garlic bread while Bon Bon ordered a carrot steak and the both of them wanted red wine along with water to wash it down afterwards. The waiter nodded in confirmation and told them that their orders will be at the table in 25 minutes and soon he left to notify the kitchen about the new orders placed.
Luckily for them, they've been saving enough bits for this occasion from the jobs that they've been working hard to earn for this night and today will pay it off. Whilst waiting for their food to arrive, Lyra and Bon Bon decided to have a chit-chat about their daily life or some memories of the childhoods they had before the pair met. Occasionally, some of their stories resulted in laughter like Lyra telling Bon Bon on how one time that they had a surprise quiz in CSGU and Twilight being her usual self, freaked out in a state of panic because she didn't study on it or Bon Bon telling Lyra on how the Flower Trio: Daisy, Lily Valley,& Roseluck dramatically fainted over a small bee landing in their flowers.
After 25 minutes, their orders arrived and soon, the couple started to eat quietly but sometimes kept looking at them. There would be sometimes a blush when they look at each other because there's something that they couldn't help but admire one pony to another. What was it that Lyra and Bon Bon were feeling? Is it because on how the unicorn mare had such a cheery smile on her face or is it because the Earth Pony mare had a smirk that can make someone fall head over hooves in an instant? Whatever it is, it was something.
When they finished with their meal, the couple had a toast to finish off the dinner that they had tonight. Lyra signaled the waiter for the bill and soon, he returned to their table with the bill in which they placed their bits that they've saved on it and then signaled the waiter again. He took the bill again and when he returned with the change, Bon Bon decided to keep the receipt and leave a few bits for a tip, and afterwards, they left the restaurant, satisfied of their meal.
Lyra and Bon Bon decided to head to the park in which they basked in the moonlight allowing the moon to shine it's brightness on them. The couple were lucky to see some a couple of swans trying to sway one another while they playfully played stone skipping; hooves only. Then, they sat on the bench, just admiring the coziness and the breeziness of tonight's wind just swaying their manes and coats with no care at all.
They just looked at each other, not talking to one another since they didn't need words at all knowing that all they need a simple yet special date night for themselves only and with a few ponies at the park but hey, it didn't matter to them anyways. Bon Bon looked at her watch and saw the time, it read "10:30 PM" and soon enough, the couple decided to call it a night as they nuzzled and booped each other on the snouts to end their stay at the park and headed back to their own house. When they arrived at the house, Lyra and Bon Bon ended their date with a loving kiss on the lips as they headed inside their house in order to get a good night's sleep and rest.
So ends our love story with a couple that didn't care if they would be criticized as different just because of their same sex. What matters to them is that love has no boundaries and it doesn't matter what anypony would say or judge them and that my dear readers is something to remember.
