A war rages between the Dark Powers, known as Witches and Warlocks and their minions, and the remnants of Ponykind ruled by The Church of The Two Sisters.

In the territory controlled by one of the Witches, Papal scouts have been sent by a vision deep inside the borders of the enemy, and their faith is rewarded when they discover the wreckage of a legendary ship that was lost over a century ago. On this ship was carried a mysterious and powerful artifact, one of six, that can truly alter the course of the conflict and secure a true victory for Ponykind from their dark oppressors.

The ancient gods of all Ponies, The Two Sisters, are seemingly gone from the world physically. But their presence is still felt by all, and it is they who are the primary reasons why the Dark Powers have not consumed the world in shadow.
Their Honest, Generous, Compassionate, Loyal, Optimistic, and Knowledgeable servants fight day in and day out to protect the innocent, and all Ponies are taught from foalhood how to fight and kill should the need ever arise in this fallen, broken world.

Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Starlight Glimmer are all members of a secret sect of immortal warriors, known as Preyers, who are sent into this dangerous land to retrieve the artifact.
The Witch, a vicious entity that is called Queen Chrysalis, rules over a shapeshifting race of supernatural horrors called Changelings, and has gained access to the holy relic and is keeping it hidden in the bowels of her nightmarish fortress-hive. She cannot use the item as it is anathema to her and her kind, but she will not allow her foes to gain access to it.

If the brave trio succeed in killing the Witch and regaining the artifact, their world will be one step closer to salvation. If not… the long march to oblivion continues.
