This world is ingrained in mystery, from Alicorns to Griffons, ancient society and great magics. What happened in the past, and what tragedies befell then that still effects the present even over a thousand years later? As creatures pull curtains, you will see a clearer and clearer picture.

This story is an AU beginning just before Season 1, following show characters and ones that both I and others helped me to sculpt.
This is not a Grimdark story despite the name, instead that is based on "The Brothers Grim".
