After being excommunicated from his own home, General Stinger has lost everything. A good queen, a stable food source, and worst of all, his standing army. Alone, wandering the woods of Equestria, he develops a plan: to create a new Hive, on his own, and take out the weak link of the changeling race: his old hive. But first, he'll have to make sure that Thorax doesn't have his army of pony scum to run too. And if he takes out the great and powerful of Equestria, he takes out that miserable Starlight Glimmer too! Revenge, and the means to an end? It's almost too good to be true!
