It's been nearly a year since the Stalliongrad Expeditionary Force has arrived in North Zebrica, and already they've made great strides. In a manner of months, they and their Hippogriff allies have captured the capital of Chiropterra, and are planning a daring naval operation to rescue the felines of Abyssinia from the colonial clutches of Fascist Wingbardy.

The SEF's leader, General Nestor Lunin, has had a lot on her plate, coordinating maneuvers with the Hippogriffian communists and managing the occupation of Chiropterra, all while the tumultuous North Zebrican weather pushes the date their naval invasion further and further back. She's a mare at the end of her rope, put under enough stress to snap a steel girder in true.

And then her troops had to go ahead and throw a Hearth's Warming party.
