How to Redeem an Unredeemable

Shadow and the family sat in the livingroom with a round card table set up and playing poker using candy as currency. Shadow had an hour earlier talked with Chrysalis, Lock-Bolt and Stonewall about what he knew. Shadow was grateful that he brought it up in private with his parents present. Stonewall would've been the type of brother Shadow would want as a brother. Shadow had agreed to room with Ruby for a couple of months until they were sure that she wouldn't let her past dictate her future actions. Lock-Bolt turned to address Shadow.

"Look kid, I know what he asked angered you, but that temper of yours is volatile and must be reigned in." Shadow nodded and responded.

"Yes sir, I'll try to do better in the future." Lock-Bolt looked at his wife and the pair broke off into a corner to discus the correct disciplinary actions.

"Chrysalis, I know this is going to sound unfair but Palisade is was raised better so he must punished harder - I say we ground him for two months and no phoneo or computer privileges or any social fun."

"It sounds fair for him. For Shadow I don't know what to do with her. Shadow got dumped by her birth parents at the age of eight! We have to tread lightly I hear that Twilight had assigned Sunset Shimmer to be Shadow's case handler. At any rate should we ground her for a week or two?"

"Two weeks should be fair, she just came under our roof." When the punishments were told to the offenders Palisade not happy.
