It was another peaceful and quiet night at the cottage. The moon was out and everypony in Ponyville was asleep. Fluttershy Was about to go to bed herself. She had just finished tucking Angel into bed, kissed him Goodnight and turned off the living room light where he sleeps. Fluttershy then got a glass of water just in case she gets a little thirsty. She then brought it upstairs with her and put it on her little table that's next to her bed. She turned off the light and was about to go to sleep. She was up for quite a while though. She was about to doze off, When she heard the door open. And her little white companion Angel walked in. He had a sad look on his face that made it look like something was wrong. “Angel, What are you doing.?” Fluttershy asked. Angel climbed onto her bed and hopped towards her. He told Fluttershy that he can’t sleep and he wants to snuggle Fluttershy and sleep in her bed. “Angel, you know the rules.” Fluttershy said. “You sleep in your bed, and I sleep in mine.” Angel didn’t want to sleep in his own bed tonight. He wanted to sleep with Fluttershy and snuggle her. “Maybe I will let you sleep here another night. Now lets get you back to bed.” Fluttershy then got up to carry Angel and put him back in his bed. But he didn’t want to go back to his bed. He wanted to stay with his owner safely and sound. “Angel, I’m sorry. but rules are rules.” Fluttershy said. She had been a kind pony. And Angel knows that. But for some reason, she won’t let him sleep with her. He asked again and again. But it’s always the same answer. Angel kept moving when Fluttershy tried to grab him. But then Fluttershy caught him. He didn’t move fast enough. “Alright Angel. Let’s get you back to bed.” Fluttershy said as she started walking downstairs. But Angel looked up to her with tears in his eyes. Ears down and a big frown on his face. Fluttershy looked down at him and saw what he was doing. He wanted to snuggle her. Her fur was very nice and soft. And her mane was even softer. Angel had snuggled Fluttershy before. But it was when he fell asleep on her while she was with her friends on a pony pet play date. When Angel gets tired and sleeps on his owner. He feels her nice soft yellow fur soak into his. And when he puts his head, on her mane. And she blushes while her friends see It and adore the cuteness that was happening. Fluttershy tried to fight back and put Angel back to his bed. But something tells her that she needs to let Angel stay with her. Because he knows she is soft. And she knows it too. When Fluttershy reaches Angels bed, She does not put him in. Instead she looks at him with a smile. Angel was frowning less though. He could be losing this fight. But Fluttershy speaks up. “You know what, You can snuggle me tonight.” Angel grows a smile across his face. Fluttershy was finally going to let him snuggle her. And it was going to be a night that he will never forget. Maybe even she will never forget it too. They finally reached Fluttershys room again and she lays Angel down on her bed. She tucks herself in and takes a sip of her water and puts it back on the table. She lets out a soft burp and wipes that water away from her mouth. She then lets Angel come closer to her as Fluttershy wraps her hooves around her. Angel rested his head against her soft yellow fur and Fluttershy grabs her pink mane and pulled it to Angel. As he grabs onto it tightly and gives it a nuzzle. “Angel, I’m enjoying our snuggles.” Fluttershy said to her bunny. Angel looks up to see Fluttershys face and sees that it was happy. “I love it when you snuggle me. So I am going to let you snuggle me any night you want. When you can’t sleep.” Angels response was a sweet smile. Knowing that Fluttershy won’t be forcing him to sleep in his own bed every night. But now, He can snuggle her whatever night he wants to. And he won’t have to worry about his owner saying no and putting him back in his bed. Angel was getting tired now. His eyes feeling heavier than they are now. So he lays against Fluttershys chin and rubs his head against it. Fluttershy carefully takes another sip of her ice cold water and puts it back down on the table. Before Angel falls asleep, Fluttershy speaks up once more with a smile. “I want to tell you some things. But i’m going to wait until you fall asleep. So in the meantime Angel. just, relax.” Angel finally falls asleep as Fluttershy rubs the back of his head and speaks quietly into his ear. “Angel, You are the greatest bunny I ever had. Even though sometimes you can be a handful, I still love you know matter what happens. When I first met you when my parents gave me you for my birthday when I was a filly. My heart opened with joy. And I can’t imagine what my life would be like if you were not in it. Sometimes I think about you when I'm with my friends, and on friendship missions. I can’t stop thinking about my little bunny waiting for me to show up at my door to see him, hugging me and giving me a welcome home. I know you think I never want to hang out with you. But don’t forget what you do for me what I do to you. You comfort me when i’m hurt, You hug me when i’m scared. And you snuggle me when you’re tired. And I won’t forget what we did tonight.
