Princess Celestia finished raising the sun, and began making her way back towards her quarters to prepare for the day.

Before she did however, a sharp bolt of pain shot through her head, causing her to stumble forward. She stood back upright, the pain in her head quickly fading, being replaced by a strange pull of her magic up north, and just as quickly, the sensations ended.

She held her head with her hoof for a moment, trying to figure out what those sensations could've possibly ment...

Far up in Equestria's north, Starlight glimmer stared at the unconscious forms of four ponies.

She barely paid any mind to the first three, or the bag they had, too distracted by the fact that Princess Celestia herself, was among them.

"Your saying they just appeared? With a flash of light?" She asked, still staring at the ponies.

The citizen that had informed her only nodded, a large smile plastered on his face.

"How peculiar..." Starlight mused as she rested her chin on her hoof.

"Well, get some help, take them inside one of the buildings, and notify me when they wake up" Starlight ordered as she walked back towards her town.

She couldn't help but wonder how these four got into the situation there in at the moment...

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Five hour's ago.

Micheal Owens stepped off the bus with a yawn.

He had woken up early that day, shockingly, in an attempt to go out and find a job.

He didn't need one, since he had no bills to pay, but he did want the extra money.

So here he was, on his way to multiple different possible businesses that could hire him.

Micheal rubbed the drowsiness from his eyes as he went to pull out a folded page of paper with the names and addresses of said businesses.

"Let's see, where am I going first?" He asked, not looking forward to the day.

Apparently, it's much harder to find a job nowadays than it was thirty years ago.

At least, according to his grandmother.

"Doin it for the money..." Micheal reminded himself.

He yawned again as he started to walk down the side walk, passing multiple parked cars along the way, with one of them being a police cruiser.

Micheal payed no mind to the cop, wanting to get the day over with as quickly as possible so he could return home and play on his Switch.

The officer in the car, Connor Beckett, took another sip of his coffee as he watched Michael pass by his car.

Connor raised an eyebrow at the kids holstered revolver, but didn't decide to question him.

Pennsylvania was an open carry state after all.

He just hoped the kid wouldn't do anything stupid with that thing.

The officer took another sip, finishing his coffee.

He placed the now empty cup inside a cup holder, mentally telling himself to throw it away the first chance he had.

He sat in the car for a few more minutes, rhythmically tapping on his steering wheel as he waited for his first call.

As expected, a transmission soon came up on his radio.

'Time to get the day started' He thought to himself as he reached for his radio.

Elsewhere, somewhere in downtown Harrisburg, Flynn Langley stared at himself through a mirror, as he adjusted his tie.

He had been voted in as Pennsylvania's new governor not too long ago, and to say that the job was stressful would be an understatement.

If he knew that government jobs were this hard, he wouldn't have moved up in the industry at all!

He just did it cuz it payed well.

But it doesn't matter, he's governor now, and he would do his best.

At least, he would try not to cause the collapse of the state, or get impeached.

Flynn looked down to his watch.

A few more hours before his speech downtown.

"Better wrap this up" Flynn said out loud as he finished getting ready and headed to his front door.

Outside of Flynn's home, waiting by the state car, currently smoking, was Cruz Thorne, the governors newly assigned personal bodyguard.

"Alright, I'm ready to go" Flynn said as he stepped out of his house.

Cruz nodded, then motioned to the man in the cars driver seat to start it, as he joined Flynn in the back.

The car began making it's way to a different part of downtown, quickly passing by many buildings, catching the attention of the pedestrians walking by.

It wasn't everyday they saw a car like that.

The car also passed by some alleys, and in one of them...

Was a pony.

Very out of place for this city, or.. world, to be frank, as he wasn't like any pony on the planet.

He was a male unicorn, with a red coat, and a black mane and tail.

Currently, he was eying the governors car like a hawk, teleporting to nearby alleys and rooftops in pursuit of it.

He had arrived in this new world days ago, and already had a plan set in stone for the country's leader, but from the looks of it, he didn't have enough time to reach the capital before the spell used to come here expired and he returned to Equestria.

It's fine. This governor would be more than enough to fix his homeland.

All he had to do now, was kidnap the man.

There was a chance he would perish trying, but in the end, it would all be worth it if he could fix everything wrong with Equestria.

"And I will have the last laugh..." The stallion said with a dry chuckle as he teleported to another rooftop, not losing track of the car.

Two hours later

"And that's it, well give you a call in the next few days" The interviewer said as he and Michael both stood up from their seats.

"Alright, thanks" Michael said as the two shook hands, and the former left.

Outside of the building, Micheal ticked off the name of the business he was just at from the paper.

His job search hadn't been that bad, all things considered.

He hasn't given up and returned home yet, so that's good.

Micheal scratched his head as he looked at the next name on the list, It was a place a bit far from here, so he would need to catch the bus again.

At least, he would've, if it weren't for the gathering of people across the street catching his attention.

Micheal looked over, saying "Wonder what's happening over there" as he tried to get a closer look.

A stage of some sorts, the flag, the state flag, people in suits, couple of cops...

"Huh, must be some government event" Michael said as he looked down to the paper on his hands, then back up to the gathering.

...

"Eh, why not" Michael decided as he stuffed the paper back in his pocket and began crossing the street.

He was morbidly curious.

And he was bored! maybe whatever this was would be interesting, or have free stuff, like a hat.

He would like a hat.

After crossing the street, Michael began making his way towards the gathering, but didn't make it very far as he was stopped by an officer.

"Hey kid, you can't go any further in with that" He said, gesturing to Micheal's revolver.

He looked down to his waist, spotting the gun that had been given to him as a gift by his grandfather.

"Oh crap, forgot about that, sorry"

"Don't worry about it, just turn it in with security, and you'll be all good"

Micheal went to do just that, walking over to the security check.

Once they took his gun, he went deeper into whatever this event was.

He was actually kinda digging it, as this was the first time he went to an event like this.

Is this what all the hype is about? Maybe his dad knew what was up when he went to all of those rallies.

"Now, where them hats at?" Micheal said, grinning as he rubbed his hands together, venturing deeper.

Nearby, behind the stage, Flynn mentally prepared himself to deliver his speech, wich would mainly be about his inauguration, now that he was officially governor.

He turned to his bodyguard, saying "You think I'll be any good Cruz? At this whole governor thing I mean"

Cruz shrugged. Flynn sighed.

"The quiet type huh? It's fine. I guess every agent is like that. Must be part of the job" Flynn said as he looked down to his watch.

"It's time, let's get going" He said as he patted Cruz's shoulder and headed towards the stage, his bodyguard following suite.

Flynn stepped up to the stages podium, tapping a few times on the mic.

Cruz stood beside him, prepared for the off chance that there was an attempt on the governors life.

Micheal watched from the crowd, recording a video on his phone he would share with his family and best friend.

And Connor stood with his arms crossed beside his cruiser.

As well as many other people at the event, it was rearing up to be just a regular day with another political speech.

...

"Check it out bruh, I'm at the function, with-" Michael began to say into his phone, before turning to a man standing next to him.

"Who's this guy again?" He asked, gesturing towards the man standing on the podium.

"He's our states new governor" The man answered.

"Oh ok-" Michael thanked with a head nod as he talked into his phone again.

"Our new governor! That's crazy"

Flynn couldn't help but notice the kid, as he was at the forefront of the crowd.

He found the kids antics amusing, as they reminded him of himself when he was younger.

He shook his head, now wasn't the time to get all nostalgic, he had a speech to deliver!

Flynn took a deep breath, and began speaking, quickly losing Michael's attention.

It was expected, he never really payed any attention to politics anyway, and when he did, say, watching a debate on the TV with his dad, Micheal was usually just playing a game on his phone.

But even though he was bored, he would stick it out, and try to pay attention to what this new governor was saying.

Who knows? Maybe this dude was cooking up something special. Or, he would be a piece of shit.

Either way, Michael would be able to say he was here since the beginning.

The governor kept talking, mentioning the economy, housing, the plan for the future, stuff that mostly went over Micheal's head.

'I've got to piss'

On a nearby rooftop, the red coated stallion stood and watched, thinking of a plan on kidnapping the government official.

...

In actuality, he already had a plan.

...

He just, needed to do it.

...

The stallion sighed, there was no point in getting cold hoofs now, he had been shunned by his community, he had cast the spell, and for all he knew, the humans already knew of his existence.

He needed to leave before the spell expired, or before the human government captured him and used his magic to travel to Equestria.

The stallion shook his head, he didn't want a bloody invasion, just a rework of how his country worked.

He walked up to the buildings edge, lighting up his horn with a sleep spell intended for the governor.

Down at the stage, Cruz noticed the glint of light coming from the rooftop.

His eyes shot wide open, as he tackled Flynn to the ground, shouting "Get down!"

Just as a short, bright beam of light shot by where the man's head once was.

In an instant, everyone started to panic, with some people trying to make their way to the opposite direction from where the shot came from.

Others opted to drop onto the ground, with Michael being one of them.

"Oh shit it's the Russians!" He screamed as he started doing an army crawl towards the security check.

The stallion inwardly cursed at himself, but stayed calm as he watched a team of agents and police officers point towards his direction and quickly approach the building he was in.

'If only the royal guard were that determined' He thought to himself as he lit his horn once again, preparing a teleportation spell.

He waited until the moment the armed group busted the door down, weapons drawed.

"GET ON THE FUCKIN- what?" One of the officers said as they all got a good look at what was supposed to be the shooter.

Instead, it was just a red... Unicorn?

The stallion just teleported away, snatching a pair of handcuffs from an officer as he did so.

...

"What type of damn joke is this?!" An agent exclaimed in confusion and rage, as the pony came out of his teleportation down on the ground.

More specifically, right in front of Flynn and Cruz, who were making their way to the state car.

Flynn was confused by the mythical creatures sudden appearance, while Cruz couldn't care less where it came from, only that it didn't look friendly, if that glowing horn meant anything.

He slowly raised his gun up to the unicorn, just in case it attacked them.

'Damm lab experiment must've escaped' Cruz thought to himself, just as the pony shot him with a bright beam of light, wich he dodged.

Now scowling at the red cunt, he began to unload his mag onto him.

The pony was barely able to conjure up a shield, grunting as it already threatened to break due to the onslaught.

He desperately looked around, spotting a, conveniently misplaced metal pole.

Nearby, Michael retrieved his revolver from the security check, sighing with relief, practically kissing the thing.

He heard multiple gunshots behind him, prompting him to turn around, gun at the ready to pop a cap on someone's ass, or die trying.

...

Na, Michael knew he would win. Probably.

He looked forward, expecting a terrorist, or some emo looking kid, but instead saw the governor, an agent, and a unicorn?!

"Dawg, what?" Micheal asked in confusion as he saw the agent get clocked on the head by a floating, glowing pipe.

The kid was dumbfounded, baffled, in absolutely shock as he watched the agent fall to the ground and the unicorn levitate a pair of handcuffs and approached the governor.

He shook his head, snapping out of the confused trance he was in and lifted his revolver at the pony.

'Unicorns, who would've thought' He thought as he pulled the trigger, firing a bullet that hit one of the pony's back legs.

'L bozo'

Micheal went to shoot again, before a sudden shout from behind interrupted him.

"HEY! PUT THE GUN DOWN!!"

He whipped around, spotting the cop from earlier aiming his handgun at him.

"Ah!" Micheal began to shout as he raised his hands up to the air, dropping his gun.

"No! Wait! It ain't me bruh! It's the pony! Teh, the, eh-" he blabbered out, gesturing to the scene behind him.

Connor looked behind the kid, spotting a downed agent, the governor, and a red unicorn.

He stood blank faced for a moment, before Micheal snapped him out of it.

"I know, it's weird as hell, but it's real alright"

Connor decided not to question anything until after everything blew over, and moved towards the ongoing struggle, leaving Micheal with "Stay here"

Micheal, being Micheal, didn't listen. Exclaiming "Hey! Wait up!" As he picked his gun off the ground and followed the officer.

The two men approached, aiming there guns at the pony. Flynn noticed them, kicking the stallion on the side and walked over to them, just as Cruz stood back up.

The pony attempted to stand back up too, but struggled due to his injured leg, in the end failing and falling to his side.

"Look at him, poor bastard knows he's about to be put down" Michael taunted with a fake sympathetic voice.

The three other men turned to the kid.

"What the hell are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay back!" Connor exclaimed.

"I'm not gonna risk getting jumped by more freaky ass unicorns bro, I'm sticking with you guys. Besides, I'm a concerned citizen, I just wanna help out, and maybe get an interview or two"

Flynn chuckled, saying "Well, who am I to turn down your help? The names Flynn, though you may have already known that" He said as he offered his hand to Michael.

He shook his hand earnestly, saying "A pleasure sir, governor sir, I'm Micheal, sir"

Cruz groaned, a civilian shouldn't insert themselves into a situation like this. But, he didn't interject, since Flynn seemed to be fine with it, for some reason.

"We appreciate the help, but for your safety, I advise you step back, we don't really know what we're messing with to begin with" Connor said, hoping to convince the kid not to get involved with this.

"Well from my point of view, I'm seeing a mythical creature who decided to mess with man, and I say, we show it why one doesn't do that" Michael offered, making a finger gun with his free hand, imitating a gunshot to the head.

"No, we can't kill him yet, we need to interrogate him" Flynn said, receiving blank faced stares from the other three.

"Bruh"

Watching the entire commotion, was the pony in question, who was currently bleeding out.

He knew why they were ignoring him, he wasn't a threat. He was pathetic, couldn't even take out a single human, even with his preparation. All the more reason why Equestria needed to be fixed before it was too late.

He was out of time, the crowd was returning, agents and officers would soon close in, he would be captured, and the humans would take his homeland effortlessly.

If he wanted to bring the governor to Equestria, it needed to be now, even though there was a slight chance the spell wouldn't work as intended if there wasn't enough prep time.

The stallion began charging up the spell needed to return and transport the humans with him as he looked up at the four bickering In front of him.

"I don't mean to be rude, Mr governor, but it's a unicorn, I highly doubt it'll speak" Said the police officer as he crossed his arms.

"It can speak, trust me" The Governor said, doubling down on his claim.

"And how exactly do you know?" His bodyguard asked.

"When he attempted to handcuff me, he audibly said, and I quote, Mr governor, your coming with me" Flynn responded.

"Bullshit" The young adult spat out.

"Hand on the bible, honest to god, this animal has intelligence, and this rampage? It was a known action he committed, in an attempt to reach me" The governor said, pointing to himself.

He then pointed to the pony, saying, "And now we need to figure out why"

The three other men all looked at the downed pony, only now spotting it's glowing horn.

"What's it doin?" Micheal asked as Cruz raised his gun once more.

"Everybody get back! It's about to shoot again!" Cruz yelled, prompting both Connor and Micheal to point their own firearms at the stallion.

"This is the part where the animal sees the pearly gates, right?" Micheal asked, doing everything in his power not to blow the pony's brains out.

"No! We can't kill it! Taze it!" Flynn exclaimed, hoping none of the three men would pull the trigger.

Connor nodded, going for his taser.

Micheal tried, like, really tried to listen to the governor. But eventually, he folded to the pressure of the ever glowing horn, and pulled the trigger to his revolver.

The bullet shot through the pony's horn, slicing it clean in half, causing the stallion immeasurable pain, to and lose control of the spell.

The three men turned towards Michael, with annoyed looks on their faces.

"Well he ain't dead, I say that's a win in my-" Micheal began to say, before the spell collapsed, and a small, bright explosion engulfed the stallion, and the four men.

It was only mere moments later when more agents, officers, citizens, and eventual reporters arrived, only to be greeted by a tiny crater.
