Beyblade: passion Is magic
First contact
Load Full StoryThe wind blew gently as two figures walked among the rocky formations. One was a middle-aged man, dressed casually with a serene expression. Beside him, a blond youth with porcelain-pale skin, impeccably dressed in a white suit, observed the place with a mix of curiosity and wariness.
“Why did you bring me here, Kibitz?” asked the young man, his tone laced with impatience.
Kibitz adjusted his hat, seemingly accustomed to his young master’s attitude.
“Well, sir, I thought this might interest you.”
The two continued walking until they reached a more secluded section, where the rocks exhibited an unsettling peculiarity. Kibitz pointed toward a stone wall, his expression now more serious.
“I found this while taking my son to school. At first, I thought it was something natural and curious, but when I passed by the next day... the number of holes had increased.”
The young man frowned, looking at his assistant, confused.
“I don’t understand, Kibitz. Explain. Don’t waste my time—I need to get back to my training.”
Kibitz nodded and gestured toward the wall in front of them.
“Here it is, sir.”
The blond youth studied the rock closely. It was a wall covered in hundreds of perfectly polished holes, distributed in an eerily precise pattern. For a moment, he was completely captivated. He had never seen anything like it.
“What kind of formation is this?”
Kibitz adjusted his glasses, examining the rock.
“Young master, I’m afraid this isn’t a natural formation. Someone carved this rock to give it that shape.”
Intrigued, the young man reached out to touch one of the holes but quickly withdrew his hand upon feeling a faint warmth.
“This is still warm… So it must have been made recently.”
Kibitz nodded gravely.
“Without a doubt, whoever did this didn’t do it by hand. It’s impossible to create so much in such a short time.”
The young man narrowed his eyes, a dark smile forming on his lips.
“Whoever did this... is definitely the one I’m looking for.”
The blond’s expression was terrifying, his eyes gleaming with overwhelming determination and desire. Kibitz watched him with a mix of concern and admiration.
“Young Blueblood, what will you do now that you know about this?”
Without another word, the young man stepped forward, emerging from the shadows. The light revealed a face with nearly perfect features, as if sculpted by the gods. His eyes shone with resolution.
“Looks like I’ll have to accelerate my plan.”
Kibitz observed him with worry and respect but couldn’t hide his unease.
“But sir, your aunt forbade this, and I thought it was forgotten, nothing more than a dream.”
Blueblood looked at his loyal assistant with disdain, his expression stern and determined.
“That couldn’t matter less to me, Kibitz. I’ll deal with my aunt myself. You make the announcement everywhere.”
Decisively, Blueblood pulled a blue beyblade from his pocket, glowing with an imposing intensity. Its intimidating aura surrounded him, reflecting his determination.
“Don’t worry, my friend. I’ll find them, no matter the cost. You and I are unstoppable.”
With impressive speed, Blueblood charged and launched his beyblade with such force that it shattered a nearby rock in one blow. Kibitz, visibly nervous, watched the scene. Blueblood’s gaze was dark, filled with a dangerous energy. Though concerned about what his young master might do, he couldn’t defy his orders. With a sigh, he walked away to fulfill his task.
“So this is how it will be...” Kibitz murmured to himself as he left.
Kibitz arrived at a bustling plaza, where many young people gathered to hang out, some participating in beyblade battles. He stood in the center and, with a booming voice, called for attention.
“ATTENTION!”
The shout echoed throughout the plaza, surprising the crowd. Some turned toward him, confused, others intrigued.
“My name is Kibitz, and it is my pleasure to announce the first beyblade tournament in Canterlot.”
Some kids looked confused, but a group of girls started murmuring excitedly at the mention of the name. Kibitz, hiding a smile, continued.
“The first beyblade tournament at Canterlot High, sponsored by none other than Blueblood Solaris!”
The girls screamed in excitement, thinking of the handsome blond youth. Kibitz raised his hands to calm the crowd, though his face showed there was more to reveal.
“Anyone with a beyblade can participate!”
There were a few timid claps, but Kibitz knew the best was yet to come. Raising his voice even more, he declared:
“But that’s not all!”
The crowd went silent again, their eyes fixed on him. Kibitz smiled at their anticipation.
“The first-place winner will receive no less than one million dollars!”
The plaza fell silent for a moment before a young man’s excited shout broke the tension. The following applause was deafening, and Kibitz couldn’t help but smile, knowing he had achieved his goal.
A green-haired boy, who had been watching from a corner, slowly stood up, removing his headphones. Looking around, he seemed intrigued.
“What’s with all the commotion?” he muttered, walking toward the center of the plaza until he stood before Kibitz.
Kibitz, keeping his composure, addressed him directly.
“The first beyblade tournament at Canterlot High, sponsored by Blueblood Solaris!”
The girls around him screamed even louder, thrilled at the mention of the blond youth. The green-haired boy smirked.
“Looks like a lot of people are excited,” he said with a teasing smile.
“And I have to admit, I am too,” he added, his eyes sparkling with interest.
Suddenly, a familiar shout interrupted the atmosphere.
“SPIKE!”
The green-haired boy, Spike, turned to see his sister, Twilight, approaching furiously.
“You idiot! Where did you go? I thought you got lost! You’re supposed to be studying!”
Spike tried to dodge her scolding, but he couldn’t avoid the flurry of hits to his head. Finally, he fell to the ground, rubbing his head.
“Ow! Twilight, I’m sorry! I heard all this noise and wanted to check it out.”
Twilight, showing no signs of compassion, continued berating him.
“What am I going to do with you? Just when I thought you’d start taking your studies seriously...”
Embarrassed, Spike turned his head and apologized.
“Sorry, sorry, sis.”
Spike quickly stood up and began running away from his sister, who chased him at full speed. As he ran, he pulled a beyblade from his pocket, smiling with a mix of excitement and defiance.
“This will be fun... Phoenix!”
Twilight shouted angrily.
“SPIKE, GET BACK HERE! YOU HAVE TO STUDY!”
The siblings ran all the way home, Spike still hopeful that the tournament could be his way to escape his sister’s scolding.
“So, Blueblood... This is going to be fun, Peewee.”
Spike’s beyblade glowed under the sun as the boy grinned.
