Gallus, the griffon student at the School of Friendship, has earned a reputation as the biggest bully on campus. He picks on anyone who crosses his path—except for his friends. Among them, only Silverstream has the ability to make him listen, though he won’t admit it. Behind his tough exterior lies a broken heart and a past filled with abandonment and pain, struggles he hides from those around him. As his friendships begin to evolve, Gallus finds himself at odds with his own emotions, particularly when it comes to Silverstream, the one creature who seems to be able to reach him. But with every day he remains distant, the more he risks losing the very thing he’s come to care about the most: a sense of belonging.
