I'd like everyone who decides to read this to know that it is an edited version of Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. Flowers For Algernon is a heartwarming story that I highly suggest you read.
The simple mare, Ditzy Hooves, AKA Derpy, is selected by Twilight Sparkle to be the subject of an experiment that will make Derpy smarter than any common stallion. This leads to amazing knowledge that makes Ditzy rethink her entire life from the way her friends have been treating her and her forgotten childhood to a new feeling towards her teacher, Dr. Whooves. Not related to the wall eyed pegasis mentioned.
I'm a little new to this whole "writing because you're just too bored for anything else" so be gentle. Again, I did not write all of this but merely edited it for the enjoyment of all you readers. Thank Daniel Keyes for the amazing words.
