"Umm, green! No, black! I mean, UGH!"
"I was hoping for something with more beading and a longer train."
"Oh, yes. Of course."
"And those should be a different color."
"Which color?"

"But which exactly? You need to specific if I'm going to paint them the color you want."
Chrysalis thought long and hard about the answer to the unicorn's question, until she came up with a color from the back of her head.
"Blue."
"Blue? Why blue?"
"Because, I..... Uh.... Want to try something different with the dresses?....."
Rarity could only raise an eyebrow at her reasoning.
"I mean, if not blue, then purple?....."
"Purple?"
"Yeah, to shoutout my favorite foal to sit for?.... Heh heh heh....."
"Oh, NOW you remember that detail?" Twilight groaned in annoyance.
"Umm, Pink? To go with my skin?"
"But then it would get in the way of your actual skin darling!"
"Well then uhh.... How about, Umm, green! No, black! I mean, UGH!"
Chrysalis was getting agitated, this was more difficult then she expected.
How could she chose a color for the dresses without exposing herself?
"Orange?"
"Orange?"
"Yeah, orange."
"Something tells me you're just selecting random colors to be done with this faster." Twilight eyed "Cadance" suspiciously.
"Well, why should it matter what color they are? Just make them different then what they are now."
"It matters because they could be the exact same colors but on different spots! I need to know what colors I should avoid darling."
"Well, just avoid the ones that are on the dresses, simple."
"Not simple. I need to know which colors go where, how they are portrayed, if some colors should go on top of one another, ECT. You have to know these things when you're a designer, darling."
"Just don't worry about it! I've got a busy schedule to uphold and I really can't waste my time here!"
"How would the groom react if he saw your dress with all sorts of random colors that were out of place darling?"
"I am telling you it does not matter! Bridesmaids, back me up here!"
"Umm, I think they're lovely the way they are?....."
"Me too!"
"I love them!"
Chrysalis promptly face hoofed in irritation from the bridesmaid's cluelessness.
"Just make them a different color, ANY color."
"Now hold on a second! You can toss my friend's fritters in the trash, but I am NOT letting you just leave Rarity with a vague demand!"
"Twilight! You really don't have to stand up for me like that. It's fine, I can work it out."
"No Rarity! You don't deserve to be treated so horribly. I don't care if its your wedding and you are really stressed, the LEAST you can do is treat my friends with more respect!"
"Ugh, Twilight. Come on, You know me. I'm just a little tense because of the threat made towards Canterlot."
"That still doesn't excuse the fact that you were mean towards Applejack when she was just preparing the catering! If you didn't like the food, you could have TOLD her instead of throwing it in the trash!"
"If I had told her how I really thought about them, her feelings would've been hurt. I simply spared her the trouble by telling her I love love loved them before throwing them away."
"You see Twilight? No harm, no foul. Why don't you just let Cadance inspect the reception? I'm sure I can manage which colors to design the dresses with, it's no big deal."
"'No big deal'? Rarity, she is being unreasonably commanding with no regard for your hard work and effort, and is completely indifferent to your consideration to make the dresses perfect! As if she doesn't even care about the wedding at all!"
"What?.... That's ridiculous! What could give you an idea like that Twilight?....."
"Well for one, you were incredibly disinterested in the catering at all, I saw your glum frown while testing the food. If you really did care about marrying my brother and starting a new family with him, you would try to be more engaged in preparing for the wedding. You would've remembered our sunshine sunshine dance, you would've-......"
Twilight's thoughts turned to back when she and Cadance used to hang out while she foal sat her.
She remembered her magic aura being blue while she was caring for her.
When "Cadance" tested the food in the catering, her magic aura was green......
"What happened to your magic?....." Twilight asked "the princess".
"What?......"
"Your magic, back when you foul sat for me, your magic aura was blue. When you tried out the food in the catering, it was green..... Why is that?......"

"My magic is....... Sick?......."
Twilight and Rarity, along with the bridesmaids could only stare at "Cadance" suspicious of her behavior......
Twilight, however..... Suddenly gained infinite IQ, and begun to place the pieces together.
She didn't remember their sunshine sunshine dance, even though it was an important part of their interaction, and Twilight remembered it into mare hood.
She was incredibly uptight and bossy while interacting with her and her friends, when she used to always be kind and compassionate with everypony while she knew her.....
And most importantly of all, alicorns or unicorns magic auras don't change over time, they stay the same from filly hood to adult hood............
Twilight frowned as she stared at "Cadance" intently.........

"You're not Cadance."
"Wha- I am! I LOOK like Cadance don't I? How DARE you accuse me of being an imposter!"
"The evidence is quite clear."
"What evidence Twilight?" Rarity asked her friend.
"She doesn't remember the dance we used to do when we were little, even though it was an important thing we did for DAYS during our youth, she quite literally spread love wherever she went, even though now she's carrying a nasty attitude. And most IMPORTANTLY of all, Magic, doesn't, GET, SICK."
Chrysalis could only gulp nervously, as Twilight did make a pretty good point there.
"YOU'RE NOT CADANCE. Who are you, and what have you done with the REAL Cadance?"
Chrysalis bit her lips in anger, her entire plan was really going to be ruined because of this stubborn unicorn?
It seemed like she had no choice........
"Someone you have NO comprehension of what WE are capable of!"
Chrysalis begun to reveal her true form as the ponies gasped in shock and horror.
And as her disguise was shed, she scowled angrily at Twilight.
"I am Chrysalis! Queen of the changelings! And it is up to me find food for my subjects. I planned to drain your precious brother of his love, so that my changeling army could invade Canterlot and take over for ourselves! Making us more powerful then we could ever imagine! And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling unicorn!"
Rarity promptly gasped at the sight of the changeling queen, as she turned to her in frustration.
"And YOUR unwillingness to just make the dresses a DIFFERENT color! IT'S NOT THAT HARD! I shouldn't have to be that specific!"
Twilight blasted the changeling with a spell that knocked her back while she was distracted, as she loomed over her intensely.
"Now that you revealed to me the truth, where is the REAL Cadance?" Twilight growled at the changeling queen.
"I'll NEVER talk! There is nothing you can do that will make me-"
"Should I make the dresses Lilac?....."
"What?....."
"No no no, how about...... a shade of teal?......"

"Hmm, or maybe it would look nicely with a touch of sparkles?..... I think the groom would love that, or maybe even-"
"STOP! STOP IT I'LL TALK! NO MORE! She's in the caves beneath Canterlot! Do anything else to me! Just please don't let me have to think about the color of the dresses anymore!"
Twilight smirked as she imprisoned the queen in an impenetrable shield with her magic.
"Come on! We need to save the real bride and alert the princesses and the guards!" Twilight riled, as she, Rarity, and the bridesmaids all left to do just that.
Later...........
Chrysalis sat in her cell in Tartarus for her crimes, cursing that stubborn purple unicorn and that fashion designer for ruining her plans.....
She knew her children would find a way to break her out so they could plot their revenge, but this was a highly secure prison, so it would take some time........
However, she would soon find herself in a fate worse then Tartarus, as the unicorn designer approached her cell.....
"Wha- what do you want from me?!"
"The wedding hasn't happened yet, and the real bride asked me for your opinion on the dresses."
Rarity begun to reveal a rack of dresses, as Chrysalis's eyes widened in horror.
"Should I make them blue? Or yellow? How about green? No no, orange should do. No wait, how about black? Red? What about-"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
