1500 years after Twilight ascended to rhe throne, and 1200 years after a cataclysm flooded the world, 20 year old Aura Veil and her older brother Quill join the crew of the Sea Diamond and explore the Equestrian archipelago.

Book 1 starts small, establishing the mane 5 and this new watery version of Equestria, and is a bit more slice of life as a result. Don't worry there's still a plot to follow, it's just a little looser in this book then the other 5.

This story has been in the planning and development stages for 6 months. It will be 6 books in length, each 10 chapters long, with book 1 having a prologue and 6 having an epilogue. Also it completely ignores gen 5 and the season 10 comics. It also ignores something in the season 9 finale, but I can't say what just yet.
