“SQUEEEEEEEEE!”
In the land of Equestria, in the town of Ponyville, in the home of a unicorn that doubled as a crystallised castle as well, a high pitched squeal rang out, one that rang through every long hallway the castle had.
It even made a few birds fly up from the tree-house.
More importantly though, one thing it did was summon a small dragon, one that dashed over to the library as fast as he could before stopping at the door and panting as he looked inside. “Twilight! Is everything okay?”
He didn’t know what to expect from the mare, but what he got was her quickly turning to him with a wide smile on her face. “Spike! Guess what!”
He calmed down, but was still confused. “Uhh… What?”
A glowing horn made an unfurled letter zoom over to him, and unceremoniously, it was shoved into his face. “This!” His claws reached up to grab it, and pulling it away, he began reading. It was probably just a letter from Celestia or something.
The letter went like this:
‘Dear Twilight,
As lively as my role as queen of the Crystal Empire can be, and even with my dear Shining Armor and Daughter here with me, I often still find myself starved for company.
Though I hope you feel no obligation to travel just for my sake, I’ve managed to clear the next week, and if you wanted to come over to spend the week here, we could spend it together, seeing the sights of the city and so much more!
I imagine your schedule is very busy, but still hope you can make it.
Your friend, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.’
Prancing over, Twilight elatedly beamed to the diminutive dragon, with a smile stretched wide across her muzzle. “Cadance is inviting me over for a week! We could do so much together, just like when she used to foalsit me!”
The mare didn’t even give him the chance to say anything back, not before she started bouncing around the room like she was doing her best Pinkie Pie impression.
“The last time I actually got to spend time with her was when she visited Ponyville and Discord came along uninvited! Now I get to spend a whole week with her though! What should I pack? Should I take any books? Board games? What kind of stuff does Cadance like nowadays?”
Spike watched a familiar routine happen again as Twilight’s elation soon devolved into panic.
“Oh no, but what if I’m not entertaining enough? What if she actually decides she doesn’t want to spend time with me in the end, and then throws me in the castle dungeons! I don’t want to-“
A claw landing on her shoulder shut her up, and Twilight looked down to see Spike frowning up at her. “She’s not going to throw you in the dungeons, Twilight. Just plan what to take and go from there.”
Somehow, Spike was always the voice of reason, and just like always, he’d managed to bring her out of her downward spiral. Calming her breath, the mare smiled appreciatively at him. “Yeah. Okay. Thanks, Spike.” After the whirlwind of emotions, only one thing remained. “Now all that’s left is to plan what I’m taking!”
Whether or not she was going was out of the question, so excitedly, with a week sure to be full of bonding with the older sister she’d never had ahead, Twilight prepared to pack.
Spike knew it was inevitable that she’d overthink it, but she’d not want to keep Cadance waiting. He knew at the latest she’d head off tomorrow.
And she did!
With an elated ‘Bye’ and a quick parting hug, the overjoyed alicorn left the castle early the next morning and headed for the station with half a dozen suitcases floating behind her.
On the train, with it zooming to the reclusive kingdom of the Crystal Empire, Twilight couldn’t wait to see Cadance again, and could barely sit still despite the earlier pressure of making this all go right.
Despite that though, the train ride still went by quickly, and before Twilight could end up in another bout of overthinking she arrived at her stop, disembarking off the train before she started making her way to the castle.
She’d brought a surplus of books, board games, some trinkets from back when Cadance still foalsitted her, and every single item listed in her Sleepovers 101 book. To say she had a ton that they could do together was an understatement, and that wasn’t even mentioning all the stuff in the city she was passing by as she trotted.
Twilight was ready for the week ahead, and was going to stop at nothing to make sure she and Cadance had as much fun as they used to when she was a filly.
Some time later, the mare and her many suitcases finally arrived at the castle, and full of pep, she strode up to the main entrance and the two guards that blocked it, bags in tow.
Greeting them, she showed a wide smile. “Hello! I’m here to see Princess Cadance!”
The guards smiled back, and with an aura of green magic surrounding the doors, they stepped aside and pushed them open. Before Twilight could go through the opening however, one of them spoke up. “We were also requested to take your bags if you came with any, your highness.”
“Oh, thank you!” Gratefully, Twilight let them magically grab her belongings, and then trotted in.
She journeyed through the path she remembered to the throne room, down winding corridors with guards posted all over. There were actually more than she remembered, but she couldn’t think on it for long as on the way she saw a familiar face.
“Cadance!” Stood in the crystal halls like she was waiting for her, the princess of love was stood there in all her glory, just as beautiful as the younger alicorn remembered she was. Feeling like a young filly again, one excited for a week-long sleepover, Twilight went charging up to the mare and began the ritual. “Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!”
She shook her flank, and Cadance did nothing.
What? Why didn’t she…? Looking back confused, Cadance also seemed a little lost as she gazed at her flank, until a glimmer of recognition shone in her purple eyes.
“Oh! Yes! The dance! Sorry Twilight, my, uh, ankle got hurt recently, so I can’t…” Her eyes drifted to the side nervously as she raised her hoof.
Twilight was instantly off-put, and her jovial mood dwindled for a second, but for the sake of friendship and a week of fun ahead of her, she pushed past it. So she hurt her hoof, that’s not her fault. “Oh no! Is it okay?”
“Not really…” An awkward silence descended on the two, one that seemed to last an eternity. This was hardly how Twi’ had planned for this to start. Cadance eventually broke it though, placing her injured hoof back on the floor. “Anyway, let’s head to the throne room.”
Fighting to keep her optimistic alive, Twilight smiled up at her fellow alicorn. “Sure!” And then they trotted away down the route she’d been taking in silence. Again it felt a little awkward, but Twilight was ready to fill it with conversation. “Sooo, how are my bro and my niece doing?”
“Oh, um…” As if she was caught off-guard by the question, Cadance stumbled on her words, until she finally answered with “They’re fine.”
“Fine?”
“Yep. Fine.”
Twilight was struggling to keep her optimism at this point. Cadance was just being so… weird. Was she nervous about the week ahead too? That was probably the answer, but it didn’t explain why her ‘injured’ ankle was now doing just fine as they trotted.
I’ll just give her some time. Maybe this’ll solve itself. On that thought, they arrived at the throne room. Twilight didn’t know why she wanted them there, but didn’t want to upset the awkward mood any further, so just complied as Cadance’s green magic opened the doors.
Without a care in the world, she strode on into the throne room, and then stopped dead in her tracks.
All her anticipation for the week left her in a second. Like a bucket of cold water dumped onto her, a cold hard reality collapsed on her, and she was instantly thrown for a loop, wordless and motionless as her mind whirred. Is that…?
“Hello Twilight.” Before her, a nightmare was awaiting her arrival. In her usual slick, sensual, seductive voice, the Queen of the Changelings greeted her, and from her place before her, she smiled maliciously down on the frozen mare.
Meanwhile, Twilight was still registering what she was seeing, and who could blame her? Before her, the Queen Chrysalis was splayed on her side atop her throne. Her throne, not the one that belonged to the Crystal Empire but the one made of black rock from her old hive, the other one having been replaced. At the same time, to her sides, guards lined the walls of the room, changeling guards, practically identical to each other.
The mare was too baffled to do anything. This had to just be some bad prank on Shining Armor and Cadance’s part, right?
Wait, Cadance!
Twilight’s head snapped to the mare beside her, and silently, she waited for something, anything from her.
But Chrysalis spoke up first. “Excellent work, my minion. You may go down to the barracks as your reward.”
To Twi’s horror, Cadance nodded, and then, a green shimmer consumed her, until all that was left was another changeling drone. “Thank you, my queen.”
She watched him bow and then turn to leave, but Chrysalis stopped him. “Oh, and one last thing: did she do that silly little dance of hers and practically shove her flank in your face?”
“Yes, my queen.”
“Of course she did. I have to admit, I’m a little envious. You are dismissed, drone.” With a sultry voice holding authority, the queen sent him off, and Twilight watched the doors close behind him as he left.
With an open jaw and still having not said a word, the stunned alicorn turned back to the Changeling Queen, only to find her half-lidded eyes looking back down at her.
With a cocky smirk on her face, she spoke. “So, how was the train ride, Twilight?”
At last, the bookish mare’s brain caught up to her, and finally, finally she registered what was happening. “Ch-Chrysalis! What are-? What are you-? Is that-?” She couldn’t finish a sentence, but got one out in the end. “How are you here?!”
Chrysalis herself was more than happy to tell her. “It wasn’t difficult. This place has a strong defence against the cold and King Sombra, but nothing against the likes of us. It was almost too easy.”
Again, Twilight couldn’t speak. She had so many questions and didn’t know which to ask first. She thought about asking about the stone throne when her eyes landed on it, but Chrysalis didn’t even let her.
“Look familiar? It wasn’t easy rebuilding this throne back from the shattered remnants of what that traitor Thorax did to it, but all the hard work was worth it to see you powerless here before me again.
A connection was made in Twilight’s brain. That throne. Her powers. Despite how pointless it was, she tried lighting up her horn to teleport herself out of here, but nothing happened, and she couldn’t hide her shock.
On seeing it, Chrysalis spoke down at her, amused. “Your magic, your flight, and even that earth pony strength of yours has been sapped away. But please, keep trying. It’s entertaining watching you struggle.”
How could this all go wrong so quickly? Her magic was gone, nopony thought she was in danger over here, and the door behind her was now closed with changeling guards blocking it. She was trapped. She’d come here willingly, and was led directly into the jaws of the beast.
For a little longer, Twilight remained silent, remembering the last time she was powerless and how she’d needed Starlight, Trixie, Discord and Thorax to save her.
But eventually, she steeled her nerves, and after straightening herself up, glared at her sudden captor. “What do you want?”
That insufferable smirk didn’t leave Chrysalis’s face, and it lingered in her voice. “Isn’t it obvious? I want to rebuild my hive. You can’t fathom the struggle it was to just create only this many drones, and as I have an army to rebuild, I’ll need some… ‘help’.”
For better or for worse, Twilight didn’t have a clue what that meant, but kept her guard up. “I’m not helping you rebuild anything.”
Again, the changeling didn’t bat an eyelid. Twilight had seen her smug before, but this was much even for her. She must’ve truly thought she’d won, which didn’t ease her nerves. “I’m sure. I’ll allow you one last question.”
Before what? Wracking her brain, it didn’t take Twilight long to come up with another one. “Where are Cadance, Shining and Flurry Heart?”
“Alive, and they’ll remain that way as long as somepony behaves herself.” After condescendingly smirking down at her all this time, enjoying her place above the powerless pony, Queen Chrysalis ascended off her throne, and on four hooves started making her way to the trepidatious alicorn still glaring at her.
She didn’t stop until she was stood in front of Twilight, towering over the mare with a cruel smirk.
Chrysalis stood there for a second, basking in the glory of an assured victory and Twilight’s glare before she broke the silence. “I imagine you’re hungry after such a long journey. Let’s get you something to eat.”
What? The question caught her off-guard as well as everything else here. Yes, she was hungry, but why was Chrysalis of all mares offering food?
Whatever it was, she wasn’t eating it, that was for certain.
As the queen walked off to the doors, the pair of changeling guards approaching Twilight made it clear that she didn’t get a choice in the matter, so sighing (and sneakily trying to use her magic again one last time) she began following Chrysalis, choosing to stare at the floor as she trailed behind the changeling and two changelings trailed behind her.
With her optimistic plan for the week in shreds, a glum Twilight was escorted out into the halls of the Crystal Castle. They walked in silence, but that didn’t stop the unbearably smug aura radiating off of Chrysalis.
Ignoring it, Twilight escaped into her mind as she kept walking, but she didn’t find much comfort in logic. I’m helpless. None of my friends know I’m in danger, I’m magicless, there are more guards here than even Shining had set up around Flurry’s bedroom, and Chrysalis has some kind of plan for me. I’m a sitting duck.
Then there was the fact that the mare was acting so smug. She seemed so sure of herself this time, but it seemed less out of pride now and more out of confidence in her plan. Had she changed after her hive had dethroned her? What was her plan?
As they kept walking, Twilight came up with half of a plan of her own: her only hope for survival was either escaping this place or getting her magic back, so she’d have to do one of them. Somehow.
Her first idea was a risky one. How far does her magic-cancelling throne work? Though she didn’t like the thought of having to, as Twilight’s eyes drifted to one of the castle many open windows, the possibility of needing to jump out of it was becoming more and more likely, but would that be enough to-
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Smugly, Chrysalis looked back on her as she walked, and Twilight’s head snapped up to her. Was she being that obvious? “Your magic won’t work anywhere near this castle, so unless you want your purple fur to turn red very quickly, I’d advise you to not leap to your death.”
Now regretting considering doing that (and being infuriated that she’d been figured out so easily) Twilight put her head forward again, and no more words were said for the duration of the stroll.
She was led to the dining room, and nervously she followed Chrysalis into it. It was a grand room, one with a huge table spanning its length and, of course, guards all around it. Twilight assumed they were changelings, even if they didn’t look like it.
“Take a seat.” Her tone left no room for argument, and hardly in a state to fight back against her, Twilight complied. Chrysalis took the seat at the head of the table, so her captive too the one opposite her.
“Wah!” But Chrysalis didn’t let her. A quick casting of changeling magic lifted Twilight up into the air, and with flailing legs, she was brought to and dropped into the seat right by the Changeling Queen’s side.
As Twilight got up in her chair, the bug grinned amusedly at the sour look she received. “If you’re done, we can finally get started.” A look was given to a pair of changelings, and dutifully, they rushed away somewhere.
Twilight watched them go.
She hated this. She hated being so helpless here. There was so much she didn’t know here and so much she wanted to know.
In the silence, Twilight decided it was time to learn some of those things she wanted to know. “What do you want with me, Chrysalis?”
“Hm?” Insect eyes peered over at her slyly. “I already told you, you’re going to help me create a new changeling army.”
That didn’t help her. “And what does that mean?”
“It means that you’re trapped here in this castle, and as long as you behave yourself I won’t have to hold you captive in a pod again. Does that sound fair, Twilight?”
No. It didn’t. She still didn’t know what the loathsome changeling wanted with her, but thinking on it more, Twilight came to a conclusion. “So I’m just your prisoner?”
Chrysalis smiled seductively down at her, leaning over the table to bring their muzzles closer together. “Would you rather be more? That could be arranged, if you’d prefer.”
Twilight nearly gagged. Chrysalis of all mares was flirting with her? Maybe this week would be worse than she thought. “You wish.” Before silence could claim them again, Twilight itched to get more out of her captor, and so soon spoke up again. “Ponies are going to realise I’m missing eventually. What’ll you do when Princess Celestia and Luna show up here looking for me?”
Snide laughter erupted out of Chrysalis, much to Twilight’s annoyance. Eventually though, she finally shut up, and responded mockingly. “You really believe those useless sisters would go looking for you?” She looked for a response, and found a glare on the mare’s face. “Either way, you’re going to be staying here with ‘Cadance’ for a week. But if you wish to leave after that, I won’t stop you.”
“…Really?”
“Mhm.”
So this has got to be either some sick test of will or she’s lying… Twilight had never felt this clueless in her life, but she was trying her best to figure out the villain’s plan regardless. “And what if I try to leave before that?”
“Try to leave if you wish. I have dozens of guards all over this place with the order to kill you on sight, but if you wish to die, I have no problem going and getting Cadance to take your place.”
Take my place? But what does she want me for? Twilight opened her mouth to say more when the doors opened up, and the two changelings returned from presumably the kitchen, now carrying two plates.
Both the queen and princess watched them walk over, and then watched as two plates were floated in front of them; one with some flower-filled sandwiches, and one with a slice of cake.
At first, Princess Sparkle thought they were both for her, until the cake was put directly in front of the Changeling Queen and she licked her lips at it.
For the third time today, Chrysalis caught her wandering eyes, and answered the question surely on the tip of her tongue. “Before you ask, yes, changelings can eat food. We feed on love, and this kind of eating is only for pleasure, but we don’t have digestive systems for nothing.”
Oooookay then. Twi’ turned back to her own food. If Chrysalis wanted to eat cake, she wouldn’t stop her.
SPLRRRT!
The sound of half a container of mustard being emptied onto cake brought her head back over. Is she-? She was. Holding the container up with her magic, the bug was drowning her own serving in the spicy, yellow sauce. “…”
Wordlessly, Twilight turned back to her food again, weirded out. But there were more important things to think about than Chrysalis’s bizarre eating habits, no matter how confused she was. She brought her mind back to the matter at hand: her food.
In all honesty, Chrysalis had been right earlier; she was hungry after the long train ride, and this hay sandwich she was presented with seemed like the perfect thing to satiate that hunger.
But she wasn’t going to eat it.
Of course she wasn’t! It was food offered by Chrysalis herself, and no matter how hungry she was, she refused to take what was offered by one of the most cruel villains she’d ever had the displeasure of facing!
Twilight wasn’t even going to touch the food, and this was something that her captor noticed. “Are you not hungry? It’s not poisoned, I assure you.”
“Uh-huh.” Twilight was doubtful, and she didn’t bother hiding it from the bug she despised most as she used her hoof to slide the plate away.
If Chrysalis took offence to the action, she didn’t show it, instead she almost seemed… amused, humoured by her. “Twilight, if I wanted you dead, you’d be dead. Look at you: powerless and at my mercy every second of the day. I could kill you this very instant without breaking a sweat, so enlighten me, why would I poison you?”
The alicorn was doubtful, but she made a good point. Besides, the alternative was going a week without food, though Twilight would rather that than be poisoned…
Sighing, Twi gave in. She could do a spell to check if she had her magic, but as she didn’t, against her better judgement, she gave in to her hunger.
Like she couldn’t care less, the queen chowed down on her own food without a second thought, and as she scoffed it down, Twilight hesitantly did the same, managing to pick the bread up in her hooves before eating. It tasted good; crunchy, ripe, and with the exotic flavours of some flowers she hadn’t even tried before. Let’s just hope they’re not fatal…
Eventually, and without regret for the mess she’d made, Chrysalis finished, looking up to see Twilight’s meal equally devoured. Her smirk didn’t leave her face. She didn’t care, or from what Twilight could tell, it at least seemed like she didn’t.
With a mere look at one of her subjects, Chrysalis got the changelings to take their plates, and once they were gone she rose from her seat, towering over the pony mare. “So, Twilight, shall I show you to where you’ll be spending your nights?”
It wasn’t a question, and before Twi could give some snarky answer to her captor, green magic grabbed her again, lifting her out of her seat rudely. “Ough!” Heavily, she was placed on all fours by Chrysalis, and made to follow after her as she strode away.
The following journey down through the castle was filled with silence and self-pity. Twilight didn’t usher a word, and just let herself get led away as she stayed in her head.
At one point, something did catch her attention: she could’ve sworn she heard her brother’s muffled voice coming from the barracks, alongside numerous changelings grunting and moaning, but they moved past it quickly, so she never could say for certain. What’s going on in there?
By the end, they were where she’d be staying: the dungeons.
With Chrysalis in front, looking back at her, the bug spoke first. “I hope you’ll enjoy your time here.” But then, the bug did something the miserable Twilight didn’t expect in a million moons. “Unless, you’d prefer to spend your nights in my bedchambers?”
Glancing back with an expression that could only be described as seductive, unprovoked, Queen Chrysalis then chose to raise her tail and flash her ‘goods’ to her prisoner. Twilight only saw them for a second, but still she had the displeasure of having to stare straight at the changeling’s big donut between her cheeks, along with the two big, black bug-bollocks hanging off the back of her.
Twilight instantly snapped her head away, but only after the damage was done, with an image of Chrysalis’s giant ballsack being burned into her mind forever.
For some reason, a burst of arousal shot through her too. Twilight didn’t understand it, and she didn’t want to.
Now in an even worse mood than before, the pony trudged her way into the open cell. “I’d rather sleep in a dungeon than with you.”
“If you insist, I won’t stop you.” That’s what Twilight was worried about. Chrysalis usually only cared about what she wanted, why was she pretending to care about her, serving her tasty food and everything?
With a bone-wracking slam, the heavy iron door was soon closed and locked on her, Twilight was to spend the night in this lonely cell, and when the changelings trotted away, not even gloating like the mare had expected them to, she accepted her fate and tried to get comfortable on the cold, uncomfortable floor.
Hours after that she spent in her mind, trying to plot an escape, but it was all for naught as eventually she curled up with the knowledge that she was at the mercy of an unbearable bug.
Day 1
“Wakey wakey!” After getting a… ‘pleasant’ awakening from Chrysalis, one consisting of the queen delivering her a delicious-looking breakfast that she was hesitant to touch, the day was surprisingly uneventful for Twilight.
As it turned out (and as Chrysalis had made terribly clear) Twilight was stuck in this cell until the end of her ‘vacation’.
She knew if she tried to escape, she’d be killed and Cadance would take her place, but she didn’t know why. That morning, spending hours and hours alone in the cell, she couldn’t figure it out. Did Chrysalis want something from her? Her time? Were changelings attacking the rest of Equestria while she was locked away in here?
The mare couldn’t make heads or tails of it, and it didn’t help that a certain bug was occasionally popping over to bug her.
But being annoyed was the least of her problems…
All morning she’d felt… wrong. She’d felt hotter, and more fidgety, and, for a lack of better words…
Hornier.
Yep, of all things to be feeling right now in this dungeon, a constant craving for cock was the last thing she wanted, but lo and behold, here she was, with it pestering her like an intrusive thought always at the forefront of her mind.
She couldn’t sit still in her cell, constantly shifting to try and get comfortable, but it wasn’t to be.
At least it was… manageable.
As bothersome and inconvenient it was considering her situation, she could still ignore it through sheer willpower, as tiresome as it was.
Then, eventually, lunch came.
Once again, Twilight hesitantly ate her meal, but still devoured it all before thinking too hard about it. Some fraction of her mind would have noticed that she’d only gotten even hotter after she’d finished eating, but the mare was too busy trying to hide her state from the changeling guards to make any connections.
After that, it was back to waiting.
Pacing was the only way to burn off the sudden excess energy burning in her, but it still didn’t do enough, so as the hours passed, Twilight pondered on it, her priorities changing. Did I go into heat? I could, but I shouldn’t have! I thought I planned it out so I wouldn’t be going through that until a couple months from now! Did Chrysalis have something to do with it? I don’t know how she could, but then how else am feeling so…
She paced and paced to no avail, entirely answerless, not even getting anything when Chrysalis blessed her with her glorious presence to ‘invite’ her to another mandatory dinner in the dining room.
The meal was just as delicious as the rest of them had been, not that Twilight had noticed. As she numbly gobbled it all up, she just focused on concealing her condition from Chrysalis. Celestia knows how she’d try to use it against her, and that would only be after the uproarious laughter that’d ensue.
Fortunately though, for the entirety of the silent feast, Queen Chrysalis was too focused on her own meal drowning in mustard to notice. Probably. She had seemed more smug throughout, but by the end, she escorted Twilight back to her cell and left her there again, leaving the pony upset and horny, a combination of emotions she wasn’t very used to.
After barely resisting the urge to quickly rub herself off before sleeping, Twilight was eventually able to get herself to sleep in the cell again.
Maybe the heat would’ve passed by then…
Day 2
Nope!
Compared to day 2, day 1 was nothing.
…Ugggghh… Right on waking up, Twilight the prisoner was greeted by an overwhelming heat plaguing her body, one that was already driving her crazy. What in the hay is going on?!
It was safe to say Twilight had never felt this… ‘restless’ before in her life.
Her tail was repeatedly trying to lift itself up, her mind was constantly filled with perverted images that’d make Fluttershy blush, and her marehood was getting wetter by the second as it kept winking, showing off her insides to nopony in the hopes that it’d get her bred.
All of this was with Twilight wanting the exact opposite, but it was out of her control now. For whatever reason, her body decided that this was what it wanted, and she’d have to live with it.
The day passed in an uncomfortable pain.
Using all the willpower she had, Twilight refused to pleasure herself. She was a prisoner here, and she wouldn’t let Chrysalis potentially come visit her only to find her rubbing herself silly!
So as the day went on, and her heat only got worse, she put all her effort into hiding her condition again.
It wasn’t very successful. Even if she cleaned up any droplets of arousal she left behind, the pungent aroma filling her cell told any creature with a nose how she was feeling. She managed though, and struggled and hoped until dinner arrived yet again, and she was escorted to the dining hall, proud that she’d managed not to leak a single droplet on the walk.
“So, Twilight, are you enjoying your stay?” Soon, they were back in their usual seats. Chrysalis seemed in her happiest, smuggest mood yet, and all the while, it didn’t take a genius to see that Twilight was in her worst.
