Rainbow Dash's POV
I'm not stoked on the idea of tying with Crystal Prep, but that's as close as can get to winning and that's AWESOME.
After that shit of a principle, Principle Grinch- Wait no... CINCH. Ehem- Uh- Principle Cinch had peer pressured OUR worlds Twilight Sparkle to 'Unleash The Magic', Twi turned into a princes-god-monster-demon thingy, just like what happened when Sunset Shimmer stole Equestria Twilights crown and became a princess-god-monster-demon- Ugh, you know what happened. But yeah, kinda the same deal. But Sunset Shimmer turned into a princess-god kinda thing and helped OUR world Twilight..
So, yada yada yada.. Now. Since my sports car broke down, I took a hitch in AJ's hunk-of-junk-truck she calls a 'Truck'... That shit was from BEFORE her parents... Sure Apple Jack's parents are dead.. Bless them.. But that shits OLDD.. Like I bet it needs a repair every hour!
I opened the passengers seat on the car and sat on it.. Holding my legs high and resting them crossed on the dashboard. I put on my seatbelt as I saw AJ sit beside me on the drivers seat.
She turned to me. "Rainbow Dash. Get yer legs off of mah car."
I rolled my eyes.. Secretly, her accent made me feel things, but I always took them as annoyance.
"I have long legs! What do you want me to do??" I question, cocking my eyebrow at her.
"What am I gonna do with ya?" She sighed.
Apple Jack returned her focus to the car.. Turning the car key multiple times.. Each one making a splutter. Think of it as an old grandpas cough.
"Still in shape, huh, Apples?" Earlier when I mentioned about how old her car was, she kept denying it, saying it was still in shape.
"Oh put a sock in it Dash." She retorts. I roll my eyes and watch her slam her fist on the car a few times.. Turning the key... And it spluttering back to life.. She turned to me with a smirk, only to be faced with the middle finger.
She rolled her eyes and drove..
A few minutes later, I spoke up. "Can I stay at yours?"
"Sure you can, sugarcube. But what fer?" She questions, darting her eyes to me and back at the road.
"Got into an argument with my parents last night before school." I say quickly.
"Rainbow." She scolds. She's the mother of the friend group, always acting like a mom with a stick up her ass. But we always yknow.. Make fun of each other, bully each other, y'know, we're at each others necks.. All the time... And I mean- ALL. The. Time.
"Okay okay fine. Think of it as this. My parents... Don't want me to be in their territory anymore." I say slowly.. Thinking through my words. Something I don't do so often. Or at all.
"Your parents kicked you out!?!" She shouts almost bumping into the car infront of us.
"KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD!" I shout as I held whatever I could so that my face doesn't fly to the window when we halted.
"I know.. But did they?" She asked. Her tone lowered.
"Yeah. They did." I admit. Crossing my arms and looking out the window as I felt the car drive off again.
"What did ya do, Dash?" She questions.. Again.. "I don't want to talk about it.. And what's with all the questions?" I add on quickly.
"Ahm mighty sorry Dash. But- Nevermind.. Do you wanna go back to yer house to gather yer belongings?"
"Huh?" I say surprised as I look up from my phone that I've got while she asked me the question.
"Ah said-" I cut her off. "I know what you said-"
"Then why'd ya make me say it again?!!" I heard her ask exasperated. I groan and answer her question. "Because I was caught off guard. And no. I don't want to get my shit back. All I need is in here." I hold up my 2 backpacks.. I got weird looks at school for bringing 2 backpacks to school, but I brushed it off saying that it's extra change of clothes for the Friendship Games just in case there's water and swimming and stuff. Just in case, since we didn't know the activities..
"OH! That's why you had 2 backpacks fer! That makes sense now." I heard AJ say as she parks near the Apple family's house. Sweet Apple Acres.
"Yeah. All the shit I need is here. But the question is how long you're willing to hold me up for." I ask as I left the car as she did too.
We walked up to the front and I let my self in. Navigating through the house expertly. I've been here so many times as kids, the layout is practically tattooed into my mind.
I enter her room, AJ behind me. Closing the door. I threw my backpacks on the floor and kicking my shoes off. I flop on her bed. Apple Jack followed suit, albeit, putting her things away neater than I have.
She sat beside me. And our eyes locked for a moment. I nearly lost ground for a moment as my magenta irises gazed into her green ones. She looks away after a moment and I felt a pang in my heart.. Once again, I thought it as annoyance..
"You still didn't answer my question AJ." I reminded her taking her out of her daydreaming.
"I can hold you in fer as long as you need, sugar cube." As those words came out of her mouth, as opposed to our usual bickering. A small smirk formed on my face.
"Ah." I sighed as I stood up. "I'm gonna change." I announce.
"Not here you ain't." AJ retorted. My cheeks flushed up and I spluttered out. "A-Apples! What- Apple Jack!"
"What?" She said, turning her head to the right a bit, as if to mock me.. But that accent, that look i. her eyes.. I just can't stay annoyed or- Snap out of it Dash.
"You know what." I say angrily and grabbed a change of clothes from my back pack and let the room. Heading towards the bathroom.

Updates will be every week or so. But I will be working on them on an external app!
Author notes will be in bold. (Usually in the beginning and/or end of the chapter.) I don't want to interrupt your reading of this AWESOME (Get it?) book.
Actions, thoughts and words are in normal font. However, words will be placed in "" quotations.
I usually plan out the chapter before writing it so if I have mental block, well, you know.
This starts right after the friendship games (I will be rewatching the movie so I can remember what happened.) Their powers come after Legend Of Everfree and if following the canon timeline, it's before Friendship Games? Correct me if I'm wrong I don't remember much. But yes, they DO pony up. But I'll mention this very minimally.
The POV will change from time to time, but I will let you know if so.
I'm not a particularly good writer, but I have done creative writing for school before, so I guess I have minimal experience.
I am writing this in Wattpad as well, but since this an MLP website for MLP fanfictions. I was like why not post it here?
I also will not be doing any NSFW, but I will be writing some fluff.
This MAY be a slow burn or fast burn, but I'll tell you from now... It's not going to be the first few chapters... You're going to have to wait for the speedster and country girl to get together.

Also, please let me know if there's any grammatical errors, this was supposed to be the demo version before I went in an edit it, but I thought it was fine and the plot was. Also.. Was it rushed?...

Apple Jack's POV
I watched as Dash left my room and I chuckled to myself. I grabbed her backpack and opened it and rummaged around, taking out a Nintendo Switch... Of course she'd bring this. And no, it's not snooping around if your friend usually lets you go through her stuff.. Right?
I exited my room knocked in the room she was in while she was changing and shouted."Ahm gonna connect yer switch to the tv downstairs!"
"...mph- OKAY!"
Once I heard her reply I went downstairs and connected her Nintendo to the tv. I looked through the games until I settled on Mario Kart 8. A classic.

Rainbow Dash came downstairs in some leggings and a t-shirt. She sat down beside me. Her hand grazing mine ever so lightly.... THAT FUNNY FEELING AGAIN!... She grabbed the remote control, as did I.
"Ready to lose, Apples?" She exclaimed boastfully in her raspy voice.
"In yer dreams, dash." I retort as we had a 'starting contest'. She stuck her tongue out. And I couldn't help but chuckle, she did as well and we went back to our stoic expressions.
We turned to the tv, and using the controller, I navigated to the 'Multiple player' option. '150 CC'. And we began to chose our characters. I chose Mario and Dash chose Bowser. We chose our carts and we chose the Star Cup.

I roll my eyes and spoke up. "First to 15?"

I won overall.. I'm just that awesome yknow? I flopped on AJ's bed.. Where she was fast asleep. I turned to her and a contemplating look arose on my face..
Right before she fell asleep she told me something.
"Yknow when ah look at you.. I feel funny."
"What do you mean feel funny?" I questioned. But she fell asleep right after... Little did AJ know. I also feel the funny, and very fucking annoying feeling...
...What did she mean when she said that?
Well. There was no time for thinking as I fell asleep immediately after.. I can think later.

It was now later, and it was 5th period of school. English. Something about the American Depression or Great Dream or whatever it was linked to a book we were supposed to read. Obviously I didn't. I have sports to do. I have no time to read- unless it's a Daring Do book obviously- What was it called? Mouse and guy- Mice and dude? All I know they speak like AJ. Whatever. I was half asleep anyways and I can't help but think of AJ's words last night..
Before I knew it. The bell rang. Signaling class was over.
I stood up, packed my things and slung my backpack over my shoulder and dragged myself to my 6th period.
Hey at least AJ and I have that class together. I sat on my seat right next to AJ.
"..Yo.."
"Hey there sugarcube." I heard her say back. I felt my heart do a literal fucking flip.. Oh my god. I hate this feeling.. And did AJ always look good in this light? No, Dash. Stop thinking like this.. Look Away.. LOOK AWAY. I turn to the blackboard where the teacher began explaining. Here we go again.
