"Wait, you don't have Christmas in your universe?"

The one who asked, was a young human adult. Blonde hair done up in a ponytail, wearing purple jacket with blue t-shirt, running leggings and runner shoes. She is a human version of Rainbow Dash, called Dashiell "Twilah" Reinbold.

"Like for real, Twi?" Dashie asked, as she kept pushing the Santa sleigh in the night sky with her slime wings.

Twilight Spark, an anthro and short haired version of Twilight Sparkle from another universe, wearing a black shirt, dark purple cargo pants and black boots, but what really made her stand out was the puffy rainbow jacket that once belong to her late adopted mother, answered back.

"Yeah, we don't have a 'Christmas' but we have something called Hearth's Warming but I don't give a ratass about it anymore." she said, looking over shoulder and revealed the fake glowing red nose as she was the leading reindeer pulling the sleigh.

Dashie was shocked to hear this, but her mind started to go to work. She placed her hand under her chin. "I see! It makes sense, every universe out there will have a different celebration, depending on said universe." but she brushed off her smart side as she heard the rest of Twilight words. "What? Why?"

Before Twilight could answer back, they heard a voice. "Well, I think we don't have Christmas or Hearth's Warming, Dashie." said a white Alicorn with grayish mane and tail, her voice sounding lifeless. Her eyes looked dead inside as well, as they were half open. She was answering Dashie about the different universes and their version of Christmas.

A mirror suddenly hovered alongside her, within it was a ghostly shadow of a unicorn with light blue glowing eyes. "Reflect, darling, we do! I know you been trapped in this mirror for eons, and before we switched bodies, but we do celebrate Hearth's Warming."

The Alicorn was a universe version of Nightmare Moon known as ReflectionMare Mirror. She switched bodies with her universe Rarity, a princess in her universe and only Reflect can hear her.

"Oh heavens, I love Hearth's Warming. One of the greatest holidays out there! Love seeing the city done up in the holiday decorations, the parties and gatherings with friends and family, and of course, presents." the mirror started to spin and then bumping into Reflect's head. "Oh I missed wearing my Hearth's Warming dresses!" the mirror laid down on top of Reflect's head like a diva.

"K." was all Reflect said, not even blinking an eye.

"Woof, Woof!"

The three look behind, seeing Olive the other Reindeer as she was flapping her cardboard wings in a panic.

"I don't want to sound mean, but-"

Before she could finish, a black beam almost hit her from above. They all looked up, seeing an evil alternate universe version of Twilight, her fur, mane, tail are black while the outfit she wore was like Twilight's but black while the shirt and boots were white.

"Get fuck, you assholes!" shouted the evil Twilight, blasting at them.

"BUT CAN WE MOVE FASTER!" Olive shouted as she flapped her little cardboard wings faster.

On the sleigh, behind "Santa" were another young adult woman but wearing black and yellow power armor. She aimed her gun that had what looked like a unicorn horn in the middle and fired it at the evil Twilight. She turned back to the person next to her as her helmet opened up to reveal she's another universe Fluttershy but from the Dead Space like universe.

"AJ! Little help here!" she fired again, but quickly turned to her again. "If that's okay with you, of course!"

Her friend was a centaur wearing knight armor. She was digging through the large sack of presents, trying to find the correct name that was on the list.

"Can't right now, sugar cube! Santa needs these presents delivered!" She yelled, pulling out a gift box and tossing it toward a house below with her rope, which the gift went through the window leaving a hole. "Faye, just ask Perahta for help!"

A black hair young adult and the last one, wearing a Santa outfit but was fast asleep at the head of the sleigh. She was snoring away, not knowing of the chaos going on.

"PERAHTA, HELP ME PLEASE!" Faye yelled.

Perahta awaken from her sleep, but not because of the fighting and the sleigh's movements in dodging, no, the real reason she woke up was because...

"It's Raven! Call me by my goth name! Not that lame name!"

With that said, she went back to sleep. It won't look like it, but she's the human version of Pinkie Pie...

"Sorry, Raven!" Faye called out, before firing her gun once more but also feeling bad. "Oh dear..."

Twilight groaned and shook her head at Raven's actions. Raven's antics were annoying, more so during life and death situations. She wanted to go back there and punch her in face, but she held back her anger for friend and placed it toward the one attacking her.

"But really, why do you hate the holidays!?" Dashie asked, flapping her wings hard.

"Just drop it already!" a black beam almost hit her. "Fucking Void, won't stop being a damn thorn in our asses like always!"

"Language, young lady!"

She heard Raven yell at her, she just rolled her eyes when she heard her going back to sleep. This made Twilight lose focus as she went back to wanting to punch Raven even more, not noticing a beam heading toward her head.

"TWI!" Dashie shouted seeing the attack about to hit her friend.

Before Twilight could process the warning, the beam hit her...

"FUCK!" Twilight shouted, raising up from a bed. She held the spot where the beam hit her. She didn't feel any pain, but she was still pissed off. "Fucking bitch! Lucky shot!"

As she rubbed the side of her head, she noticed something. Her eyes went wide as she recognized the room she was in... it was her bedroom. The same bedroom that she universe jumped out of when her late mother's jacket active for the first time.

"I'm... home?" she wanted to smile, but she remembered there was nothing here for her, just her mother's annoying girlfriend. "Fuck, Dawn wants to know what happened to m...WAIT!"

Twilight looked around the room, but she didn't see her friends anywhere. Dashie or anyone else wasn't here. This made her jump out of bed, screaming for each one of them, but she shouted the loudest for Dashie.

"RAINBOW!?"

She kept shouting for her, but stopped. She feared that she somehow teleported away from that universe without them. She touched her jacket in hoping to teleport back... but...

"Huh!?" she said in a shock. Her heart was racing in fear. "Mother's jacket!" her rainbow jacket was...gone.

She started to look in the bed but found nothing. She soon started to rip the room apart looking for it. As she held her bed over her head, her door burst open, and she heard a familiar voice...

"LITTLE SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU YELLING AND MAKING SO MUCH DAMN NOISE IN THE MORNING!?"

Twilight looked, seeing Dawn, a Kemonomimi human version of Luster Dawn in this universe, wearing normal pink leather jacket and pink jeans, but...

Dawn's pissed off face quickly changed to an annoyed like look as she saw Twilight's face which was trying to hide her laughter. She started to blush as she knew the reason.

"Just fucking laugh already, you little shit!"

Twilight burst out laughing as Dawn was wearing a cute reindeer antler and ear headband, the kind a child would wear during the holidays.

"Hahaha! Look at the ears, Dawn! And you are wearing those, haha! Look, your ears fit right into the ear coverings! Pony!? Ha, you look like a reindeer now!"

"You're such an asshole." Dawn grumbled as she crossed her arms, her tail swishing side to side. "You and your damn mother always teased me. What's wrong to being jolly during Hearth's Warming Eve?"

Twilight stopped laughing when Dawn mentioned her mother, a bittersweet feeling came upon her. Dawn noticed the sad look on Twilight's face.

"Hey, what's wrong? Thinking of Spark?" Twilight nodded as she tossed the bed back on the floor. Dawn smirks as she moved aside of the doorway. "Well, the crocheted dolls need to be placed on the shelf and...SHE needs help with it."

Twilight blinked and slowly looked up at Dawn. Dawn herself smiled even more as she saw the confused look on her adopted daughter's face.

"What are you talking about, Dawn?"

"Why don't you come see for yourself?"

Twilight could feel her heart pounding. Her mother died twelve years ago when she was six years old when Fayth killed her, but what if Dawn was talking about her? She couldn't help but run past Dawn and headed toward the living room, and then her eyes widen when she saw...

"Mother!" Twilight said with tears in her eyes.

Munching on a Hearth's Warming cookie, was Spark. She placed a badly done crocheted doll of Dawn on the shelf near the tree, but it somehow fell.

"Crap! I'm not good at this." Spark groaned as she took the doll and was about to try again.

"MOTHER!"

"Hmm?" Spark looked over her shoulder, and she dropped the doll on the floor when she saw her daughter running toward her. "T-Twilight?!"

She didn't have time to react, as Twilight grabbed and hugged her tight, tears falling from her face. Twilight couldn't believe her mother was still alive that she was sobbing uncontrollably.

"You're alive!" Twilight cried, feeling happy.

"I'm... I'm not dead?" Spark said, looking confused. She tried to hug Twilight back, but couldn't, because Twilight's hug was too tight and strong. "Um, I'm a hugger, honey, but you're hurting me."

"Twi, I know it's been awhile since you last seen her, but I think you're breaking your mom's spine." Dawn answered as she walked into the living room and seeing the events unfolding before her.

Twilight realized what she was doing and quickly let go, and Spark coughed a bit.

"Sorry, mother." Twilight replied, rubbing her eyes. "I was just..."

Spark stood up right, placing her hand on Twilight's cheek, wiping her tears away. She then pulled her into a hug, this time, it was a much-needed hug for Twilight.

"Don't worry, my little bundle of hope, I'm not going anywhere." she started to stroke her daughter's hair. "Not today or ever. It's okay."

Dawn stood back, feeling the love between them. She smiled, but a part of her felt kind of jealous as Twilight only loved and saw Spark as mother while her? Just someone who looked after her, but... it didn't bother her too much today. As long, Twilight was as happy, that all mattered in the end.

"Wait, wait." Twilight said, breaking the hug. "How are you still alive? I saw Fayth killed you."

"Oh?" Spark said with surprised in her voice. Only for her confused expression becoming a serious one. "Was she here!?" she hugged her daughter, shoving her face into her large breasts. Spark looked around and then to Dawn. "Dawn, were you two attacked!? When and why didn't you tell me?!"

"No, no. Spark, we weren't." Dawn said, moving her hand side to side. "I have no idea what Twilight is talking about. Why would that annoying brat come here? She's trying to destroy the multiverse, and you are trying to stop her. She knows better to not mess with us." she smiled. "Or you. Fayth doesn't want to mess with you when you are in full on momma bear mode."

Spark could tell that her girlfriend wasn't lying. "Hmmm, guess you're right." she said, releasing Twilight from her chest making her breath.

Twilight could finally taste the air once more. As she was catching her breath, Spark started to ask why she said that, saying Fayth came here and what she meant by she died? But Twilight was blocking all the questions as her mind started to race.

'Was it all a dream? I can feel her... her warmth... her soft breasts as it was touching me. It was all too real, but... how?'

She wasn't sure. Was this a dream? Some kind of wishful thinking or reality? It was like the world was telling her, 'Yes, your mother is here, so don't be sad.' or maybe...

'No! This isn't real! Must be Void's magic or something. She blasted me in the head, so she must have cast a spell to trap my mind or some crap like that!'

She had to escape or break the spell, so she started to push her mother away. Spark and Dawn were surprised as Twilight finally escape from the hug and raised her fist and glaring at Spark.

"You are dead! I saw it first hand, so you can't trick me!" she glared at the rainbow jacket that Spark was wearing. She needed it, if it could jump universes then maybe she could jump out of this spell. "Give me that jacket, you fake! Or I'm going to beat your fucking ass!"

Spark was shocked in how her daughter was acting, even threatening her like that. She wasn't liking her tone and was about to say something, but Dawn cut her off.

"Little shit, what the hell?" she got between them.

"That jacket is mine, bitch! Give it back!" Twilight growled back, her eyes were filled with rage.

Spark was about to say something again, but this time, Twilight ran at her as she shoved Dawn to the side and tried to take it by force.

"Get your dirty paws off my mom's jacket, you faker!"

"..."

Spark's normal happy expression became a powerful glare. Even if this was her daughter, she wouldn't tolerate this. Before Twilight could reach her, Spark was gone.

"H-Huh?"

Twilight blinked, and she was suddenly being slammed into the floor hard. She could feel her arms being pressed against her back. She looked up, seeing a very pissed off Spark glaring down at her.

"W-What!?" Twilight yelled in shock.

"How dare you! How DARE YOU, TWILIGHT SPARKLE!" Spark shouted, her eyes glowing purple.

Twilight's eyes widen in fear. The way Spark said her name sounded so different, she never heard her talk like that. She suddenly felt like a little child again as her tail quickly went between her legs like a dog.

"I-I'm sorry, Mother. I didn't mean to-OUCH!!!"

Spark pulled Twilight's ear and took her to the corner of the room. "You have a lot of explaining to do, young lady. I've had enough of your foul mouth, attitude, and rudeness! I know you take after Dawn in that apartment since she raised you while I've been gone in fighting Fayth over the years, but you should behave, I raised you better! So stand here until you learned your lesson, and you better give me apologize!"

She pushed Twilight to the corner, who was rubbing her ear. She couldn't believe that her mother was scolding her, she never did that to her...

'Mother never did that, but then again, she did die before we could have a moment like this... we only lived together for two years before she... she...'

Spark had her cheeks puff out as she stood there, tapping her foot in anger while Dawn was trying to understand what happened... until they started to hear Twilight sobbing again. It wasn't a normal sob, no, she was crying her eyes out.

"T-Twilight? Are you crying?" Spark said, feeling guilty.

Spark reached out to her, only for Twilight to turned around and reveal her crying face. All those bottle up emotions and trauma that she carried over those years started to unleash itself.

"You're alive! You're alive!" she started to shout, ran to her and hugged her once more, but this time, with less force.

Spark couldn't handle seeing her daughter in such a state, so she hugged her back. "I'm here, honey."

Twilight's emotions were all over the place, but the main thing was, she was so happy her mother was still alive somehow. She didn't care if this was magical spell or whatever, she had her mother back, and she was going to savor every moment of it... as a dark star was hovering above her, its aura entering Twilight's mind.

"You're really here. You're not dead anymore." she sobbed into her chest.

Spark rubbed her head, comforting her. "It's okay, sweetheart."

As they held each other, Spark looked over to Dawn, mouthing at her in what was wrong with their daughter, but Dawn only could shrug her shoulders.

"Don't worry, Twilight. I'm here now, I won't leave you again." Spark said, her eyes starting to get wet.

"Mother, I'm so sorry! I was such a bitch!"

Spark sighed as she heard that, Dawn's bad habits rubbed off on Twilight while she was away months to sometimes years, but she brushes that off and kept telling her daughter that everything was okay. "It's okay, you don't need to be sorry."

Twilight looked up at her mother, her cheeks being squeezed by Spark's breasts. "But I should be! You are a great mom! I shouldn't be acting like that!" she shoved her face deeper into her chest. "I'm a horrible daughter. You shouldn't have saved me that day!"

Spark couldn't help but frown at this and started to cry a little, which made Twilight look up again. "Mother?"

Spark made her let go, and she placed a hand on Twilight's head. "Never say that again! You heard me, never, ever, say that. I'm glad that I saved you." she hugged her daughter again.

Twilight remember her old life back in her home universe, where her real mother dropped her off in the Shrine of Spark. A place where they worship Spark herself when she saved that universe in the distance past from Fayth and became a goddess in that town's religion. She was chosen with five other fillies to be saved by her, as the followers believed Spark will return to their universe after their planet got hit by other smaller red planet that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Out of the six children, Twilight was the only one to survive as the others died from a fire within their sleeping pods. Twilight knew Spark returned by chance and found her and saved her, and even though she knew that, she didn't care, because her mother still did her best to raise her even when she had her moments because of the trauma she had.

"You are my bundle of hope, you carry such a bright loving spark that it burns brighter than my own. Please, never lose that light. Never forget about it. So never say that you shouldn't be here." Spark said, giving her a warm smile.

Twilight sniffed, rubbing her nose with her arm. "O-Okay."

The two shared another embrace, but Dawn coughed to get their attention.

"Sorry, but um, can we start putting the dolls on the shelf and eat breakfast?"

Dawn asked this, as she wanted to move on from this strange moment that Twilight had going. Of course, Twilight gave her a death glare for ruining their daughter and motherly moment, which made Dawn roll her eyes.

"Oh, yes! Let's do that!" Spark answered as she used her horn to pick up the three crocheted dolls, each being her, Dawn, and Twilight. She gave Dawn the doll version of herself, Twilight got the Dawn version while she had Twilight one. "Okay, remember the tradition. Place the dolls on the shelf, and the spirit of Hearth's Warming will bless us this year. Okay?"

Dawn sighed as she knew Spark will keep bugging her until she did it, and Twilight only did it because she loved her mother and doing this for her. Dawn placed the Spark doll on first, then Spark placed the Twilight one in front of the Spark doll. She placed the Spark doll's arm around the Twilight one, making it look like the doll was hugging it.

Twilight blushed as she saw that. She always loved it when her mother did this. Spark smiled at her and told her to put the Dawn doll next.

Twilight glare at the doll in her hand. "...Right."

Without warning, she threw the doll at the wall of the shelf, making it land in a family guy death pose as it laid next to the other dolls.

With a happy smirk as she dusted her hands off, she happily spoke. "Done!"

Dawn wasn't happy with that and started to fight with Twilight. Both started to curse each other out and soon ready themselves to fight each other.

"You need a good ass beating!" Dawn snapped, her teeth clenched.

"FUCK YOU, CUNT!" Twilight snapped back, her fists tighten.

Before their fists could fly, they were suddenly pulled into a shoulder hug by Spark. Both had their cheeks being pushed up and being squished against her large breasts.

"Girls, let's not fight. It's Hearth's Warming, the holiday of peace, love, and joy. Remember?"

They both grumbled and both crossed their arms. Seeing the mirror images, Spark couldn't help but laugh at how much they were alike.

"Even though I wish you picked up better habits of Dawn, I'm still happy you take after her." she kissed them both on the head, making them blush.

But Twilight did a disgusted look. "Ew, don't say that mom! I rather die before taking after her! I can't stand the bitch."

Dawn rolled her eyes. "Same, kid. I can't stand being near you. Just because I raised you, doesn't mean we're close."

"We're not friends, not family, nothing!" Twilight shouted back.

Dawn yelled back. "And thank Hearth's Warming for that."

"Bitch."

"Cunt."

The two had their faces close together, growling at each other.

"Girls..." Spark warned.

"Slut."

"Brat."

"Whore."

"Ugly bitch."

"..." Dawn's eye twitched, and her face started to get red. "Excuse me!?"

Twilight gave her a shit-eating grin. "Did I strike a nerve, bitch?"

The two was going at it again... only to stop as they suddenly felt Spark's magical power aura as her wings opened and covered them.

"What. Did. I. Just. Say?" she said with a deadly serious voice.

Both gulped as they saw the angry expression on her face. They quickly apologized.

"S-Sorry, mom."

"S-Sorry, Spark."

They said their apologies and Spark nodded and told them to calm down. Her magic aura slowly died down, and her wings closed back, and her angry expression turned into a smile.

"Okay! Let's make some breakfast!"

Spark let them go and headed for the kitchen, but Dawn rushed after.

"Spark, no! You can't fucking cook if your life depended on it. You can burn fucking cereal after adding the milk!"

As Twilight was alone. She couldn't help but smile. She wanted her life to be like this, having her mother in it.

"I know it's not real." she could feel her tears building up again. "It's fake but... I'll cherish this dream or spell or whatever it is. At least, I'm happy for now."

She wiped her eyes and decided to go into the kitchen. She didn't care if this was fake, it was too good of a dream to end.
She entered the kitchen and saw Dawn making breakfast, while Spark was at the table pouting. She took a seat across her mother.

"Don't worry, mom. One day, you'll learn how to cook."

Spark had small smile when she heard that, but Dawn smacked her into reality with a comment.

"Don't give her hope, you little shit. The last thing I need is Spark setting the apartment on fire! ...Again!"

Spark chuckled, and Twilight growled.

"Dawn, can't you see I'm having a moment with my mother?"

"Yeah, well, don't. I already lost my fucking deposit thanks to your mother and her fucking cooking skills." she flipped the pancakes on the pan. "Talk about something else, something that isn't related to her wanting to cook!"

Twilight was about to snap back, but Spark cut her off.

"Did you do your Hearth's Warming shopping? It's Warming Eve right now." she lean in, putting her head on her hands, smiling. "Did you buy something for your..." her smile grew bigger and looked proud. "Girlfriend?"

Twilight was drinking some OJ, only for her to spit out all the juice in surprise and choking on it.

"M-Mom!? What!?"

Twilight was so confused right now, what did her mother mean by that? She could see her mother giggling and then turned to the wall of the kitchen, showing different pictures. It was the family wall of photos, but Spark was looking at the far end and Twilight became red in the face as she saw who were in them. It was her and Dashie. Dashie was a kemonomimi like Dawn.

'What? Why is Rainbow there?'

Twilight could see all the different photos of them. Ranging from high school photos where they first met going off how Twilight acted cold around Dashie in them, to the present time when they finally become a couple.

"You and Dashiell are such cuties! You're lucky to find your special someone during high school. High school sweethearts!" Spark said with a giggle.

"I-I mean, um, I don't, I, uh, we..." Twilight started to stutter as she tried to answer her, but it was hard. Sure, they were finally dating, but hearing and seeing how her mother was reacting to it... felt so hard to describe. "It's not..."

Dawn laughed, cutting her off. "Oh, my god. Are you still embarrassed of your girlfriend? Even though it's been a few years? Look." she placed the red and green pancakes on the table, letting them take whatever ones they want. "Sure, she's an egghead and pretty small for a nineteen eye year old, but that doesn't mean you have to be ashamed."

Twilight started to feel embarrassed, mostly because it was Dawn giving her this advice.

'I'm not ashamed! It's just...'

"Come on, sweetie. We all remember how you first acted around her when you met her on the track field. How she bump into you and falling on to you. You acted all mad and even kicked her in the stomach. But then, you couldn't stop staring at her and blushing. Then the time she helped you study as she came over. You started to act like a different person as you told us not to embarrass you."

Spark couldn't help but giggle as she remembered how Twilight was acting when she first saw Dashiell.

Twilight however, didn't know how to reply to that. None of that happened. She met Dashie in another universe when her mother's jacket went off and teleported her there. Though, Twilight started to wish she did meet Dashie in this universe.

'If Rainbow was born in my universe... and even with my mother's death, maybe things would have been better for me? She always there for me, even putting up with my shit, she didn't need to. It's just-'

"You don't have to worry about us embarrassing you, honey. You should be proud. I'm so proud of you and her." Spark said with a smile.

Twilight's heart warmed when she heard that.

"Aww, Spark, don't make me tear up." Dawn said in a mocking tone. "Though, I agree. That girl was annoying, but she is a nice kid."

Dawn had a big grin, and Twilight gave her a weird look.

"Ew, stop trying to act like a mother. It's fucking disgusting."

Dawn's expression changed.

"Why you-"

"Girls! No fighting please, not today!" Spark cut her off.

Dawn sighed. "Whatever."

Spark then started to eat her food, and Twilight followed suit. They didn't realize that a lot of time had passed as they ate.

"Damn, I need to leave now if I want to get those Hearth's Warming deals before everything sells out." Dawn said, checking an app on her phone. She slowly glared up at Twilight. "What to..." she sighed. "Come? Knowing you, you didn't buy shit for the little egghead."

Twilight wanted to say fuck off, but something came over her as she started to panic... not noticing the dark aura entering her ears.

"I didn't forget a gift for that idiot! I-I mean... Fuck, I'm screwed." she rubbed her eyes and groaned.

Twilight sudden realized what she did just now. She was trying to understand it. 'It must the magic. It's messing with my mind. It's like my body is moving on its own and saying the things it wants. I need to fight it...'

She looked over to her mother. She wanted to say something, but it came completely different. "Mom, you don't have any ideas for gifts, right? You're good with this stuff."

"Oh, of course, sweetie. I have lots of great ideas for presents. I got the best gifts for you every Hearth's Warming."

Twilight felt her heart ache when she said that. The memories of her childhood were coming back. She only spent two times with her on Hearth's Warming and the rest were just with Dawn... they both stopped doing Hearth's Warming after Spark death. Without her, it was pointless.

"Mom, you always buy the best gifts." she tried to hide the pain in her voice.

"Thanks, sweetie. I just love getting the best for my favorite girl." she reached over and rubbed her head.

Twilight's cheeks grew warm as she leaned into her touch. She couldn't believe that was feeling a mother's warmth after all these years. She couldn't help but feel like crying.

"Let's go as a family! See the mall, buy some stuff, eat some snacks, and enjoy our day!" Spark smiled happily.

Twilight's joy quickly vanished. She looked over to Dawn.

"Does she have to be there?"

Dawn glared back, ready to snap back at her, but Spark spoke.

"Yes, I know you have mixed feelings with Dawn here, but."

Twilight could feel herself being floated into the air by Spark's magic. Same thing was happening with Dawn and the two landed on their feet and standing next to each while winter clothes magically appeared on them. Soon Spark appeared behind them, smiling.

"But she's your mother too! So, be a good girl and try to get along with her, please?"

"But-"

"No buts."
