When the holiday season came around, Sunset Shimmer found herself with a surprising amount of free time on her hands. This of course, meant only one thing: Road Trip. When none of her friends on her side of the mirror were free, this, of course meant she had to invite the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle, who excitedly agreed, on the condition they would return in time to celebrate the holiday with her friends in Equestria.
Now that their road trip is over, the two are perfectly on track to make it back home, late at night on Hearth's Warming Eve.
