Well, here it is folks. The final part of this series. When I first wrote Crystal Lover, I never intended it to be a series. But you wanted it and here it is. Hope you liked how it all came together so far and now, it's time to bring this series to a close. Enjoy.

Chapter 1: Revelations in Retirement

Equestria. A kingdom that had seen many ups and downs in its time. Once a unified kingdom, now it was made up of three separate regions that all supported each other.

In the north was the Crystal Empire, the oldest of the three regions. Despite being up in the frozen landscape, it was a warm and lovely place to be. Beautiful and glorious, it had taken the pressure that came from the hardships that it had been put through and came out the other side as a real diamond. Ruled by the beautiful alicorn Princess, Flurry Heart, it was truly a gem to behold.

The other two regions had once been one, but had since split into two new realms.

The central area of Equestria, was now the Solar Luna Domain. A place that contained all the largest cities in Equestria, such as Vanhoover, Baltimare, Applewood, Manehatten and, of course, Canterlot. Ruled over by the Royal Cousins, Sunny Glow of the daytime and Dusk Haze of the night. The pair protect the region and its ponies, taking the day and night shifts so that their region would always have a protector.

And finally, in the lower sections of the map, there was the Everfree Sovereigns. Though it didn't have any truly big cities within it, it was still a place that held great power in the region. Its capital, Ponyville, had truly grown since the sovereigns' creation. Though it still held its rustic charm, it had grown into a larger community. With houses spreading from the original town, to the White Tail Woods of the west. And leading it, keeping it and all the other towns of the sovereigns safe, was prince Light Blade.

But our story does not take place within any of these kingdoms. Instead, it takes place in a small patch of land that exists within the Everfree Sovereigns, though not a part of the kingdom.

Within that land was a mountain and built into the side of that mountain, was a beautiful castle. The structure was a mix of white and dark blue marble, along with dark purple and light blue crystal. A perfect fusion of the castles that the occupants used to live in. The five former rulers of Equestria.

He stepped into his and Twilight's apartment, which was large but not too large. Then there was the baby of the family, having almost a decade between her and her siblings birthwise, Twinkle Spark. The alicorn had her mother's coat and Flash's mane, the princess having grown up to become an amazing singer that had raised two generations on her music and was planning to keep going as long as she could.

Flash smiled at his alicorn family, but that was not the extent of said family.

One of the worst kept secrets in Equestria, was that Flash Sentry had had a trio of mistresses he had father multiple children with. Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. All three of them had born multiple children with him, which Flash had helped raise with love and care.

Flash could still remember the day Rarity had gone into labour, he and Twilight taking her to the hospital and sitting with her as she delivered his first born. Crystal Clarity, a unicorn filly with her mother's coat and a mane that was a mix of both parents. She had grown into a fashion model, who had later taken over her mother's business as a fashion designer.

A few years later, Rarity had given birth to another unicorn filly. Diamond Bright was an orange pony, with her mother's hair and magic. She had spent much of her life, mining for gems that she sold to dragons like her uncle Spike.

Fluttershy had been the next to birth a child, also a filly, named Soft Flutter. She was a perfect clone of her mother, with just a single streak of blue running through her hair. She had inherited her mother's ability to communicate with animals and eventually took over for her mother, in running Sweet Feather Sanctuary in Ponyville.

Two years later, Fluttershy had birthed a son named Gold Heart, then another son three years after that named Gentle Hooves. Gold took more after his father, looking just like him with a pink tuff of hair in his blue mane. Gentle was a descent mix of his parents, having his mother's coat, father's wings and a mane that was an even combo of pink and blue.

Both sons had also inherited their mother's power, which they used to create their own sanctuaries in different areas of Equestria. Animals far and wide could find safety with them, which had saved many of them from going extinct.

Pinkie had given birth to twins when she went into labour, being a pair of earth pony fillies named Raspberry and Sherbet Pie. The two were perfect copies of their mother, looking just like her. Except Raspberry was a darker shade of pink and Sherbet was yellow. Both fillies had inherited their mother's lover of fun, eventually opening their own sweet shop together and creating a myriad of confectioneries that knocked the kingdom of its hooves.

Five years after the twins, Pinkie had a cold who had been named Happy Wings. Happy had been a blue pegasus with frizzy pink hair, who had grown up to become the apprentice and successor of Cream Sandwich. He had taken over his factory and made a bunch of amazing amusement items.

As Flash stared at his large family, he smiled remembering all the Heartswarmings they had had with them and the rest of Flash and Twilight's family. They had truly been amazing times, made even better when the kids got older and started their own families.

Though none of Twilight's children had yet to find ponies they truly loved, the rest of them had all found their special someponies and made their own families. Flash wasn't just a father, but also a grandfather and great grandfather. All whilst not looking a day over thirty.

He then focused on the mares that had given him that family, as a pang of pain shot through his heart.

Whilst Flash and Twilight remains basically the same, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie had aged graceful over the last century. Despite getting older, Flash still considered them beautiful. "Apologises," Celestia told her. "But we weren't sure you would be coming." The three chuckled at this, Twilight saying nothing as she sat down and poured herself a cup of tea. "We assumed you and Flash would be busy, as usual." Twilight would have blushed at that statement years ago, but she had long since grown out of any embarrassment when it came to her and Flash's activities.

"Is it wrong for a husband and wife to enjoy time with one another?" Twilight asked, as she suddenly the dildo moving inside her again.

"You don't have to deny yourself joy," Twilight told them. "Just because your children don't want to be romantic, there's no reason you can't try and find somepony else. Lots of ponies have had step-parents before finding their own special some-ponies."

"It's not that simple, Twilight." Celestia sipped her tea. "I've lived a long time. I've seen friends go from young to old. Watching ponies I call my friends pass away, leaving me all alone, was always hard. You should understand that." Twilight nodded, remembering the pain she felt losing her friends. If she hadn't had Flash, she didn't know what she would have done. "As painful as that was, I know losing somepony I love would be just as hard."

"It was," Cadance nodded. She was the one who understood the pain of losing a loved one more than anypony. "And you're right. Maybe if I find a new pony to be with, I would eventually have to say goodbye to them again. I don't think I could survive losing someone I loved again. At least not yet. Maybe in another hundred years, I can find somepony else. But now..."

Luna nodded, clearly thinking the same thing. Twilight understood, but still wished she could help them. "Alright. Forget about love. There's nothing stopping you from finding somepony to just...enjoy yourself with."

"Of course there is," Luna proclaimed. "We can't just grab some random pony off the street and have them satisfy us. We may not be ruling royals any more, but we are still ponies of great respect. We can't risk the stallions we find blabbing to ponies about us bedding them."

"Yes," Celestia nodded. "I'm afraid we will just have to endure our loneliness until we can find someone we trust to become our lovers. But I doubt that will happen any time soon."

Twilight sighed, feeling truly sorry for the three. They deserved to be with somepony that they could care for and who would treat them right. But with them being immortal ponies, finding love would be hard. The spectre of death separating them, would always loom over the relationship and likely sour any happiness they might find.

'It's a shame there aren't any immortal stallions that can-' Twilight's brain stopped mid-thought, as she suddenly realised there was an answer to all of their problems. An answer she felt stupid for not thinking about sooner. "What about Flash?" The three were taken by surprise by this, Luna almost spitting out her drink as the stallion was brought up.

"What about Flash?" Cadance asked.

"What if you let Flash fulfil your needs. It's perfect."

"Twilight," Celestia blushed. "He's your husband. You think him being with any of us is...perfect?"

"Of course. Think about it. You all care about and trust Flash, don't you?" The three nodded. "And you all know I have no issue with sharing Flash. The number of stepchildren I have is evidence of that." They nodded again, having always been amazed Twilight was okay with that. "And Flash is immortal, so you don't have to worry about outliving him. He has more than enough stamina to keep us all happy for a very long time. It's perfect."

"Twilight," Cadance smiled. "It's sweet of you to offer your husband to us. But are you sure you'd be okay with him being with us?"

The three said nothing, Twilight scanning their expressions and seeing a multitude of emotions on each of them. She knew they were all considering it and Twilight noticed them also looking rather excited. She expected them to agree to at least try it. However...

"I'm sorry, Twilight." Celestia put her cup down and got up, looking ready to leave. "I appreciate your offer, but I just couldn't do that." Twilight frowned, using her decades of experience ruling to try and discern what the problem was. She could tell Celestia wanted to accept, but something was holding her back.

"What's wrong?" She asked, getting up as well. "Celestia. If there's something wrong, you can tell me. Please. What's wrong with this idea."

Celestia remained there for a moment, as she was clearly considering her options. And eventually, she spoke. "You say you trust me with your husband. But...you shouldn't trust. Not after what I've done." Twilight raised an eyebrow at this, then looked around and saw Luna and Cadance all looking confused.

"What?" Twilight asked. "What are you talking about? What could you have done that wouldn't make me trust you?"

Celestia seemed absolutely terrified, clearly fearing Twilight's reaction to what she was about to say. "There's something I've never told you. Any of you. I...I have been...intimate with Flash." Silence filled the garden. Even the birds seemed to stop singing, as the alicorns all took this info in.

"It was before you were married," Celestia explained. "It was before the two of you were even together. Flash and I spent a night together." Twilight could hardly believe she was hearing this. "Flash is Sunny's father, isn't he?" Twilight turned to the mare, then realised she must be right.

"Yes," Celestia nodded as she sat back down. "He got me pregnant and...I'm honestly glad he did." She smiled, clearly thinking about the alicorn daughter she had birthed a century ago.

"How?" Twilight asked, wanting to know everything. "How did you and Flash get together. And why hasn't Flash told me about this?" She had never asked Flash about his previous lovers, but she assumed he would have told her if he ever fucked Celestia.

"What?" Celestia suddenly looked worried, as she turned back to her former student.

Twilight frowned at her, a look of disappointment on her face. "You should have told Flash what happened. Especially when you found out you were pregnant." Celestia frowned, looking away. "He deserved to know he had another daughter. And Sunny deserved to know who her father was. Did you know she came to me once and asked if I knew her father. I told her I didn't and all that time, I actually did know him. How could you keep that from her? From all of us?"

"It wasn't that simple," Celestia explained. "I...I didn't want Flash to be thrown into the spotlight like that. If everyone discovered what he and I had done, he never would have been able to live a normal life. He would have spent every day being stared at, known only as the stallion that knocked up Celestia."

Twilight's frown didn't disappear. "I understand keeping it from him then, but why didn't you tell us after Flash and I got together. Or when Sunny asked about who her father was."

"I couldn't," Celestia almost looked close to tears. "When you two got together, I considered telling you. But I didn't want to risk ruining what you had. And I was terrified that you would hate me. You always looked up to me and I didn't want you to see me as some two-bit whore."

She was about to speak, but then Luna spoke up. "I have something I need to confess as well." They all turned to her and Twilight suddenly had a very strange feeling in her gut. "Celestia isn't the only mare at this table that's been with Flash before you got together with him." Cadance suddenly looked very scared, but Twilight was more focused on Luna herself.

"You had sex with Flash?" Their eyes went wide, as Luna didn't deny it and sipped her coffee. "No way. Don't tell me. Dusk..."

"Is Flash's son," Luna nodded. "I'm sorry I kept it from you, but yes. My child is your stepson."

"Luna," Celestia whispered in shock, "I don't understand. How in Equestria could you and Flash have gotten together? You didn't even know him that well back then."

"You can enter memories?" Cadance asked.

And Flash was the stallion she cheated on him with." Cadance seemed to be putting something together, her eyes going wide as Luna sipped her drink again.

"I chose to keep Dusk's father a secret, because I didn't want Flash thrown into the limelight. Like Celestia, I didn't want to ruin any relationship you had with Flash when you got together. But...maybe it is time they knew. Flash deserves to know the identities of all his children. All of them."

Cadance seemed to flinch at that statement, as Celestia leaned into Luna. "Out of curiosity, who was the mare you caught having sex with Flash?"

She glanced at Luna, "which means it was my dream you peaked on." Luna nodded, as Celestia turned to her sister. But before she could say anything, Twilight spoke up.

"You're lying." Cadance frowned, "you wouldn't do that. Not to Shining."

"Twilight," Cadance sighed, "I'm sorry. But it's true."

"No," Twilight shook her head. "It can't. You wouldn't do that. Flash wouldn't do that. Fucking a married mare, I could see him possibly doing. But there's no way he would fuck you. He wouldn't do that to Shining."

"Okay," Luna nodded, "that is his fault. Did he have an excuse when he finally confessed?"

"Please tell me he said no without hesitation," Luna exclaimed.

"He said it was...different." This resulted in a third flinch from the mares, as Cadance seemed to be remembering how upset she was back then. "I couldn't be around him after that, so I left."

"And transformed into an entirely different mare," Luna stated. She remembered seeing this part in Cadance's dream, as the mare nodded.

"Yes. I booked a room, had a bit to drink before heading out to a bar. And that's where Flash came up to me."

"How much did you have to drink?" Celestia asked, clearly praying it was enough to make up for her doing this.

Cadance sighed, trying to figure out the exact amount. "Enough to make me think any idea I had was a good idea, but not enough to take any blame off me."

"So you...chose to cheat on my brother?" Twilight asked, making Cadance frown.

"I never intended to go all the way with Flash. I just...wanted to make Shining feel bad. At the time, I thought I was perfectly justified to do it. Flash and I went into a back alley and I blew him. "Twilight!" Cadance frowned, "I'm sorry. What I did was wrong, but I never cheated on Shining again after that night. I remained true to him for the rest of his life and after he died."

"But you kept this from him!" Twilight stood up, slamming his hands down on the table. "He loved Blitz and all that time, he wasn't his father."

"Shining was Blitz's father," Cadance confirmed. "Maybe not his biological father, but he raised him and loved him. That makes him the father. I'm sorry you're upset, Twilight. I'm sorry I kept it from you. But what was I supposed to do?"

"Maybe not cheat on my brother!" Twilight seemed to be getting really angry now, but Cadance didn't rise to the yelling.

"If I did that, Blitz would have never been born." She looked up at her. "Are you saying he shouldn't have been born? If you could go back, would you stop me from doing it? Even though that would mean the pony you watched grow up would never be born?"

Twilight said nothing, clearly not wanting to do that. As much as she hated that Blitz wasn't her brother's son, she couldn't hate him. He may not have been her nephew, but he was still Flurry and Sharp's brother. Still part of her family. She would never want him to be out of her life.

"I'm sorry, Twilight." Cadance looked down in shame. "This might make me seem horrible, but I don't regret what I did. Luna and Cadance nodded, as Twilight sat there. She had offered them this chance because she trusted them. But now...

"I...need to be on my own for a bit." She got up. "Please, excuse me." Before the mares could say anything, she teleported away. She needed time to think and decide how she wanted to deal with this new information.
