Discord has been the primary resident of the Realm of Chaos for as long as he can remember. Not that he tries very hard to remember anything before that.

When Twilight wanders into his home (partially by accident, partially to deliver a Hearth's Warming gift) he is confronted with a challenge: the princess will, of course, want to study this brave new frontier. But Discord knows just how dangerous that would be to the alicorn.

Unfortunately, years of mistrust between the two mean he cannot simply tell her the issue.

Hopefully her curiosity won't doom her to the corruptive influence of his home.
