It was a normal day in ponyvile, The grass was green, the moon was rising majestically, and apple bloom finally made a sale in her apple cart.

It WAS a normal day. But that's when the apocalypse started as the moon was shattered...

This is a story about apple bloom surviving a world dying from monstrous beasts from the moon.

Apple bloom opened her eyes to the canterlot library. She knew what she had to do. She got up and started to fly to the moon.

It took time to fly to the moon, but she eventually reached the home of the lumen and began to search the moon for the lumen while searching the surface to look for caves. She searched and searched, until she finally found the cave.

She was elated. She can finally save the ones she love, and all life on equss. So she flew down into the cave to fight for the fate of equss and all of the life of the planet.

Luna look worried as she and celestia sat in the tea room.

"I'm telling you sister, the lunar devourers are going to escape!" Luna said as celestia kept a calm face, "if they escape, then they will devour the life force of equss. And we will be first."

"Luna," celestia started, "I think you are ballooning this situation out of reason. There is no way the lunar devourers are going to escape the seal on the moon, they would need thousands of their number to even crack the seal, and also do I have to remind you that we are immortal." Celestia said with a soft smile.

Apple bloom was slaughtering the lumen by the dozens, each second more and more lumen dies as apple bloom cleaves through the monsters like a magic knife through butter. The monsters helpless as there numbers dwindle down to the hundreds.

"SISTER, THIS IS SERIOUS, WE WILL DIE IN A FEW DAYS UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" Luna shouted as she was stressed. But before she could continue, a guard bursted into the room.

"PRINCESSES, THE EMERGENCY TIME SPELL HAS BEEN USED, SOMEPONY FROM THE FUTURE IS HERE!" A gruf stallion yelled as he ran into the room.

"Oh? The scroll has been used? Is there a note?" Celestia asked as this was interesting.

"Yes there is a note." The stallion responded.

"May we see it?" Celestia asked as she wanted more information on this new development.

"Yes, here it is." The guard hoofed them the note from the future.

Apple bloom laughed as she found the lumen queen, the source of the lumen. She grabbed her hammer and started to fight the queen of the lumen.

Celestia's eyes went wide at what she was reading. The lunar devourers, or the 'lumen' as this pony called them, destroyed the moon, then went to equss and started to eat every pony? Then the writer of this note grew up in that sort of environment? Then the killed all of the lumen, but not before everything was already dead? AND THEY ARE AN ALICORN!? Celestia needed a nap.

Apple bloom laughed as she killed the lumen queen, saving all life in the world as she was now sealed in the moon, with no way out, and an infinity of darkness in the future. But hey, she at least gave a version of her a better future.

As she thought about that, she fell asleep on the literal mountain of dead lumen.

The last pony

Apple bloom sighed as she watched Luna's moon rise into the sky, it's silver shine lighting the almost empty shopping square in ponyvile. The atmosphere calm as she sold another apple to Fluttershy. It was the perfect day-.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF EQUESTRIA IS HAPPENING TO THE MOON!!" The calm was quickly disrupted when half of the moon cracked open like an egg. The rest of the moon quickly folowing until all that was left was dust as indescribable monsters crash land on equestria, the things dropping onto the land killing anything in sight.

Day 1

It has been three days since the moon cracked. I was the only pony to escape ponyvile that day, as every pony was still asleep or walking the streets. I was lucky, or unlucky in my opinion, as I hid behind the apple cart. The moon creatures didn't see me, but they saw Fluttershy. Poor Fluttershy, she froze at the sight of the monsters and she had barely enough time to scream before she was killed. But I thankfully didn't see what happened, only the aftermath. It was a brutal scene, her entire chest and stomach was ripped open and most of her organs where gone. I only escaped because of the monsters feasting on the ponies in their homes, and my small size aloud me to leave ponyvile and into the everfree. Now why the everfree? Simple. the moon monsters don't go into the everfree. So with the safety of the forest I built myself a shelter, and I scavenged the ruined ponyvile for essentials, like this notebook or the apples. Of course I have to be careful as the monster have incredible hearing and sight. So I go into the too quiet ponyvile, get supplies, then return to my shelter and repeat. Today however, I found this journal. So to keep my sanity I have decided I will write my thoughts and events into this journal. I miss big Mac. He would have built a stable home for us and applejack. But he was bucking the apple trees when the moon cracked. I miss him.

Day 5

Today I ventured all the way to canterlot. I wish I hadn't. Every pony was long dead by the time I got there, blood ran like water and all that was left of the ponies were scraps of their skin and sometimes their eyes, and that one half eaten brain was disgusting and tramatizing. I went inside the castle for the vain hope of survivors, I survived, so any pony could have survived. But all I found were dead ponies and the the princesses both dead on there thrones. Luna was completely shattered. Celestia was the same, only her head was the only surviving part. The apple have started to rot as well, so I will have to go venture deeper into the everfree to find some food or I will starve. So I will search tomorrow. Now that I think of it, how does the sun move without celestia moving it? Maybe discord took up moving it.wait where is discord?

Day 8

Good news and bad news. Good news is that I found discord. Bad news, he is a shattered statue. Nearby discord shattered dead body was Fluttershy's body. I think discord found Fluttershy, felt despair, and killed himself in greif. Poor discord, he loved Fluttershy with all of his chaotic being. I couldn't imagine the pain he went through seeing Fluttershy disemboweled like that. Also more bad news, the moon monsters have started to encroach on the everfree. So I will be more careful, also I should make a name for them, moon monsters are just too long, so I made a name for them, lunem. The word is an old equestrian name for moon monsters, the full translation being lumen monstera. So now they have a name I can write without taking up to much space as this notebook has limited pages.

Day 16

The lumen have found my home. I need to leave. They are searching the cabin. I am under the floor boards. If anypony sees this then I am most likely dead. Leave now. This is not a safe place anymore.

Day whatever

Ever since I left my cabin I have been growing paranoid. The pony race is dead and I am the only one left. Why me. Out of all the ponies in equestria why ME. I AM JUST A FILLY WITH NO CUTIE MARK! A USELESS WASTE OF SPACE SO WHY ME! Why me! why me. why me. why me.

Day I don't know.

I have grown taller, and I have earned my cutie mark. I finally killed one of the lumen. I got my cutie mark from that. They are not invincible, I can kill them. I can have my revenge on the ones who killed the pony race! I can avenge my sister and my brother! I CAN AVENGE SWEETIE BELLE AND SCOOTALOO! I WILL KILL ALL LUMEN ON EQUSS! AND THEN I WILL... I will... Then what would I do? I would be the only pony left. No, the only intelligent being left in equss, alone, with nobody but myself, on a dead planet, with only my thoughts to keep me company. Well I guess all I can do is kill the lumen.

Day unknown.

I have done it. All of the lumen are dead. It was a struggle, but they are gone. The mountainous lumen queen is underneath my hooves. But the lumen has already won, there is nothing left of equss. All of the vegetation has been consumed, all of the animals are dead, the soil is dry, the oceans are now lakes. What will I do- wait are those wings? And is that a- THERE IS A HORN ON MY HEAD!?! Wait, wings and a horn- AM I AN ALICORN!?! This doesn't make sense, why am I an alicorn. Only ponies who do great things become alicorns, like finishing a decade old spell, or killing an entire.. race.. of monsters... Nevermind it makes sense now. But what will I do? There is nothing left of equestria. Well I guess I will just walk the empty wasteland. I have nothing better to do.

(Apple blooms mind.)

Alright, old canterlot is still here, that's good. The gates are gone though. But that just means I don't have to open rusty doors. Man all of the blood is gone, and the scraps are also now dust. Wow, just how long has it been since I have last been here? It looks like a hundred years has past by. All of the houses are now just ruble. Oh, the main castle is also gone. That's a shame, I would have loved going back on memory lane. Oh? The Royal library is still standing? Well I might as well check it out. Maybe a few books survived.

Year 101

Today I found out it has been around one hundred years since the lumen attacked. So I found something interesting. I found a one-time use time travel spell. Aperently it has a link to the past. And when it is used, all instances of this scroll will be burnt throughout all of time. But since all life of the planet is dead, I am going to go back in time to stop the lumen from escaping the moon. And I am going to save the life equss. No matter the cost.
