The Golden Oak Library. A remarkably stocky tree serving as both a library and Twilight's home. Inside, the purple pony was reorganizing the books back in alphabetical order after Rainbow Dash yet again crashed her way through the window.

Unfortunately, Rainbow Dash couldn't help since she had a "busy schedule" ahead of her, but she did place as much books on top of each other as she could before leaving. This left Twilight to let out a light sigh, thanking Rainbow Dash in her mind. At least Rainbow Dash tried her best, and Twilight had Spike to help her clean up the library. The tiny dragon stacked several books for Twilight to put in the shelves telekinetically while on a ladder. While rearranging the orders of one particular shelf, Twilight stumbled upon an unfamiliar book.

Spike, seeing Twilight suddenly pause and staring at a book, asks her if she's alright. Twilight, realizing her sudden pause, immediately replies to Spike and nods her head to further communicate her feelings. Her eyes lock back on to the mysterious book. After a long glaze on the book, Twilight sets the book gently on one of the podiums near her. Her focus turns back to putting the books in order and tidying up the library.

The library was finally cleaned in the way the neat freak liked it. Spike drifted back into sleep before the cleaning was concluded on his pillow. Twilight meanwhile trots leisurely to the podium that held the book she reserved earlier. Seeing the amount of dust it has collected, Twilight inhales and distributes the air equally on the book, making the air detach the dust on the cover. She wipes off the leftover dust off of it with her hoof and finally takes a look.

The illustration was... Confusing to look at to say the least. It shows two balls; one with all of Equestria's diverse physical features from , the other only filled with darkness and a question mark in the center of it. It didn't even have the name of the author. This book isn't saying... Could you travel to another planet?

If you know anything about Twilight, you know how fond she is of astronomy. She has spent hours gathering information about space through books and observation with telescopes that could see mountains of the moon and other nearby planets.

The curious pony turns to the first page and thoroughly reads it with her bright, narrow eyes. Its pages were filled with lists of words focusing on various topics like the amount of mathematics it took, the intense dedication to pull off a spell, its consequences if failed, demonstrations and finally, the spell itself. The author describes the spell as "an abomination to what everypony knows" and it "too risk for everypony to know". Why did they write the book in the first place? Twilight doesn't know. They could've died with the secret.

Intrigued, Twilight scans over the demonstration and concentrations on the basic fundamentals of casting the spell. It lists that diligence and an immense use of magic beyond any other documented spells. It's described as "a teleportation spell, but it takes you far beyond what the pony mind can think of." For their experience, they witnessed "a whole change of scenery in Equestria." The anonymous author portrays the landscape they traveled in as filled with vibrant dark green grass, sturdy gray cliffs, clear waterfalls that would make any pony's jaw drop, groves of the tallest trees he's ever seen, shiny sapphire lakes, mountains stretching for Celestia knows how long, and crowded meadows that reminded them of the Everfree Forest if it was gentler and vigorous. It surely sounded like a breathtaking and leisure stroll in a place no pony has ever trotted on.

After rereading the demonstrations over and over again, Twilight closes the book with a new goal: to cast the spell. She places a small saddle bag over her back and puts the book inside of it.

She knew trial and error would occur, but with enough perseverance, she can do it. The purple pony gallops out of her library and far outside of Ponyville to spare it from the failures she'll be facing that could possibly harm anyone. Her swift legs worked hard on bring her to the destination where she can practicing. Ahead of her when she approached the train station was a vast green field. Perfect! Twilight times her jump and pushes herself off the ground to go over the train tracks. Her hooves strike the landing, pushing dirt particles and tiny rocks out of the way before continuing to gallop.

Finally, Twilight stops to pant for a little. She checks her distance from Ponyville to where she's at right now, a small hill with a couple of rocks popping out of the grass. Her book is gradually pulled from the bag and laid onto the ground for Twilight to read whenever. Now was the moment to attempt to pull of the spell. With immense intentness on the task, Twilight began to use every part of herself to cast it.

Error after error, Twilight Sparkle would find herself being knocked back, thrown around, teleported to a random place in Equestria she already knew about, knocked back again by an explosion, or spawn in her bucking nightmare she had somehow. Her stamina and mental health imploded and caused her to rage. Twilight was about to stomp the ground and turn herself into that burning pony before stopping herself.

She expected this and told herself about this. Why is she angry at something she can't control knowing damn well this is her first time trying? In fact, Twilight should've been noting how her efforts have gotten her this far and feel proud about it. Taking a deep breath, Twilight stands up straight and focusing on control her magic again. Slowly, she began to feel process accelerate. Her redefined dedication brought her closer to hexing herself.

Before she knew it, her vision suddenly changes to pure black with tiny bright dots and several spiral-shaped lights emitting various colors. Twilight blinked out of the vision and shakes her head, her front left hoof placed on it. It's—possible.

Twilight attempts again. Her horn lights up again with more white particles and purple aura emitting than ever. Her hooves stay firmly put on the ground and her head slowly descends as exertion spiked. The build up began to overwhelm once again, but having experience it several times she persisted until a giant ball of purple magic hovered over her. It's here where she will finally pull it off, the spell one other pony has over done...

That's until Spike managed to track down her location and ran up the small hill towards her with something in his hand. In her peripheral vision, Twilight saw Spike and her eyes widen. Immediately, the giant ball fell onto her and white light rays shot out. One hit Spike's eyes which instantly began to burn it. He yells and covers his eyes with his tiny arms. The next minute when Spike opens his eyes again the sphere was gone, and so was Twilight.

Asteroids, stars, planets, planetary systems, galaxies, galaxy clusters, nebulas, all zooming right past Twilight at the speed of light. All of it reflected onto her eyes as she tries to process what's she's witnessing. They also looked so... Distorted. It was like she was flying through a tunnel with the walls constantly moves either up or down, filled with the listed celestial objects. Far ahead of her was a purple sphere, and she was approaching it fast. Slowly, Twilight's mind grew exhausted and drifts off, so are her eyes and consciousness. What awaits her?

Author's Note

This is my first ever fanfic and I feel proud of how it's looking so far. What's Twilight going to see next? It'll be in the perspective of someone else. đź‘€

P.S: There's a reason why there's no dialogue
