The mediocre and bland Trixie 2: Electric Boogaloo
Princess Celestia sat on her throne, a bit tense from the events that occurred a couple weeks prior....
She is relieved that Twilight and her friends were able to put a stop to Discord's reign swiftly, but it would have been a hundred times quicker if it weren't for-
"PRINCESS CELESTIA!!!"
HER......
Celestia glared at the blue unicorn who stood at her front door, standing up straight eager to take her on.
"I, the GREAT, and POWERFUL TRIXIE, challenge YOU, to a duel!"
Celestia groaned in frustration, as she didn't have time to deal with this unicorns stubborn antics at the moment.
"Discord may have bested Trixie in a battle of wits, but you will not have such an advantage! We will see who should TRULY rule Equestria as it's rightful rul-"
"Stop, let me stop you right there."
"What?...."
"You're challenging, ME, the pony who raises and lowers the sun every day, and has done so for the passed thousand years, who not only banished Lord Tirek, King Sombra, and Discord to eternal banishment, but also banished her own sister to the moon for a thousand years, with nothing but the elements of harmony as weapons?"
"Well, Trixie.... Uhh....."
"You, a mere show pony, who has failed to vanquish an ursa MINOR, is challenging one of the most powerful ponies in Equestria, after falling to defeat the lord of chaos? You challenge me now, after THAT?"
"Well.... Trixie believes in herself! And is confident that she can overpower you! Come on! Show Trixie what you've got! Trixie'll wipe the floor with yo-"
Celestia zapped Trixie with a non-injuring attack that made her fall back to the floor weakened.
Trixie promptly got up.
"Ok, that was good..... Trixie will give you that, but now it's Trixie's turn! So prepare yourself! For pain!"
Trixie fired a blast at Celestia, but she blocked the attack with a magical barrier that was as tall as the castle roof.
Trixie gulped nervously.....
"My turn." Celestia merely stated, as she launched bits of heat against Trixie, that made her yelp in pain as she jumped around the heat in desperation.
Celestia, with a yawn, then summoned a portal underneath Trixie.
Trixie stared at the lack of ground beneath her, before pulling out a sign that said "Uh oh!" As she fell through.
As Trixie fell through the portal, she promptly entered the golden oak library, as Twilight stared at her with the smuggest grin she's ever pulled since she got Shining Armor in trouble for eating dad's cookies.
"I take it you were able to wipe the floor with Celestia?" twilight asked, knowing fully well what was the actual result.
"How did you know Trixie was dueling Celestia?"
"She figured something like this might happen, that's why she told me to talk to you after that issue has been dealt with."
"Goodie....."
"Tell me Trixie, do you ENJOY losing horribly? To have your flank handed to you on a silver platter? Time, and time again?"
"Trixie only believes the best in herself, and she will not be discouraged by a purple bookroom who does nothing but READ ALL DAY!"
"Yes, but reading is what helps me study and prepare how I plan to face my next challenge. I actually learn and study about the problems I face, not just head off to rush and face them off with no prior knowledge of the situation. You need to accept that and come to the terms with the fact that you will never be "Great and Powerful" unless you actually learn REAL magic."
"Hmph, Trixie doesn't need to be lectured by the likes of YOU. Trixie can do these things ALL on her own, and she is going to make SURE that she can take on a challenge that SHE can overcome ALL BY HERSELF! Mark Trixie's words, TRIXIE WILL PREVAIL! SHE WILL! SHE WILL! SHE WILL!"
Trixie stormed out of the golden oak library in search of her next opponent, as Twilight could do nothing but sigh in disbelief.
"I take it it didn't go so well?" Spike asked his pony companion.
"Not at all, she's very stubborn and refuses to listen to reason. I just hope she can see that she is putting herself at risk by running off to fight all these powerful people."
"Yeah, well the only pony who can put an end to it, is herself."
"That is true Spike, I just hope she comes to that realization before it is too late....."
Meanwhile.....
Trixie ran back to the Canterlot castle,
"TRIXIE DEMANDS A REMA-"
Celestia blocked the entrance with a steel door conjured by her magic with a sign that said "Do not disturb."
Trixie, with a huff, ran off to the Canterlot gardens.
"You, sprit of chaos, DUEL TRIXIE!"
Discord was frozen solid.
Trixie, with an exasperated sigh, walked away from Canterlot clearly seeing that there was no one who wanted to prove Trixie's greatness.
Trixie begun to sit down and reflect on her past experiences, maybe Twilight was right.....
Maybe she really did need to actually learn magic and study it's properties rather then face off her problems willy nilly........
Maybe she needed to reconsider her life choices and become a more humble pony who didn't speak in the third person.....
Maybe she needed to apologize to all the people she offended during her career......
Maybe, just maybe...... She needed to apologize to Twilight Sparkle and her friends........
"NAH."
Trixie ran off to her wagon to prepare her next act, intending on giving the ponies a performance they'll never forget.
When she arrived, she saw that all of her stage props and magic kits had all but disappeared.
"WHO WOULD DO SOMETHING SO HORRIBLE TO TRIXIE?!"
Trixie turned around, and saw the Princess of the sun herself, who giggled mischievously.
"You need some time away from your toys hon."
Celestia then flew off into the daylight.
"ARE YOU BUCKING KIDDING TRIXIE?! WHAT DID TRIXIE EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS?!"
Celestia merely stared directly at her, knowing the answer.
"TRIXIE MEANT WHAT SPECIFICALLY!"
