Trixie vs Chrysalis

Trixie made her way through the hallways of Canterlot, eager to witness the wedding between two royals.

As a very powerful and important show pony, she should have the honor of seeing such an important event.

At least, that's what Trixie thought to herself.....

Trixie made it to the alter where the wedding was being held, and as soon as she stepped in, she immediately regretted stepping hoof inside.

The hall was infested with black, bug-like creatures that vaguely resembled ponies, but all seemed to be Alicorn like with wings and horns flying everywhere.

"Trixie thinks she arrived at a bad time....."

Trixie tried to leave the room. but a swarm of bugs blocked the entrance she arrived in.

"Well that's convenient....." Trixie mumbled to herself.

Trixie turned around, and saw what appeared to be the queen of the bugs, standing before her.

"And just where do you think you're going little pony? You haven't been properly stored in a cocoon yet." Chrysalis seethed maliciously.

"Yeah, Trixie's not doing this."

"Who's Trixie?"

"Trixie's Trixie! The pony standing before you!"

"That wasn't made explicitly clear."

"Just for that, Trixie's going to wipe the floor with you bugs! All of you! Then Trixie will be the hero of Canterlot!"

The changelings could only laugh at this claim of power.

"As if a mere SHOW pony like you could defeat me and my army."

"Wait wait wait, why do you sound so familiar?....."

"I could ask the same for you......"

"Whatever! Trixie is gonna show all you bugs just how toast you are-!"

Chrysalis fired a blast at Trixie, causing her to stumble across the hall as the changelings flew out of the way.

Trixie got up and tried to fire at the queen, but she changed into an ursa MINOR and caught the blast with her bear claw.

Trixie begun to have horrible traumatic flashbacks of her encounter with such a beast, and failing miserably.....

And being humiliated by Twilight.....

Trixie, enraged, charged forward at the beast.

However, Chrysalis grabbed Trixie and threw her towards the alter, as the bugs laughed at her humiliation.

Chrysalis then changed back and then flew towards her bent on draining her of her love.

Trixie then got up and tried to run away from the scene, but Chrysalis grabbed her with her magic and begun to draining her of her love, as she fainted unconscious.....

As Trixie woke up, she found herself covered in icky green slime, as she got up from her long nap.

She felt emotionally drained and weakened, like half her energy was taken away by some external force.

She then took in her surroundings, and saw that she was in the middle of Canterlot city, as numerous other ponies got up from the green slime.

She then walked back to Canterlot castle demanding to know what the TARTARUS she just encountered.

She arrived at the alter, and confronted the bride and groom over what had just transpired earlier.....

"Trixie demands to know what the TARTARUS were all those bugs doing invading Canterlot!"

"They were changelings, shapeshifting bugs that take the form of the pony you love and feed on the energy of your love for them." Cadance explained to the show mare.

"So those bugs were devouring Trixie's LOVE? Gross! Where are they?! Trixie wants to give them a piece of her mind!"

"They were just sent flying from the capital after the bride and groom unleashed a wave of love throughout the city." Twilight smirked.

"WHAT?!"

"Sorry Trixie, but once again it has been proven that there are more who are greater and more powerful then you."

"Preposterous! Trixie demands PAYBACK for being made a fool of and being used as a refrigerator for gluttonous shape changing parasites!"

"It's too late Trixie, they'll all gone. You just missed them."

Trixie could only growl in anger as she stormed off in frustration from being humiliated to death, AGAIN.

How many times was this going to keep happening to Trixie?

She already had to face the wrath of the lord of chaos, and was reckless enough to challenge the princess of the sun herself.....

All she wanted was to prove she was a powerful and capable unicorn with impressive skills and magic......

But it seemed like she was destined to fold to whatever opponent she faced......

NO! Trixie would not let self doubt get into her head any longer! She was going to find a worthy adversary she could defeat single hoofedly all on her own!

No matter how long it takes......

Trixie knew that Celestia took away her precious props from her wagon, but she still had her wagon itself.....

She just needed to find her way back to the wagon so she could take a breather and re-collect her thoughts......

She made her way back to the area where she parked her wagon........

Only to discover that there was only fragments of wood and saw dust from where it once stood........

"What the?! What happened to Trixie's precious, PRECIOUS wagon?!"

She examined the remains of the wagon, looking at the ground.....

And she gasped in horror, as she picked up a piece of green slime that laid in the middle of the wagon's remains.....

"No..........."

Trixie's blood boiled with hatred and contempt.....

"THEY DESTROYED TRIXIE'S WAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Twilight watched from afar Trixie's emotional outburst, as she sighed in disappointment.....

She knew that the only way Trixie could truly become great and powerful was by bettering herself as a pony, and actually learning magic instead of just boasting.....

She had thought about helping Trixie, she pitied her, she truly did......

She had thought about actually taking the time to teach Trixie humility, and actually showing her how to truly control her magic......

She knew it would put an end to her embarrassing failures, to her whiny tantrums.....

Did she truly want to spare her the humiliation?.......

Did she actually want to step in and teach her how to be a better magician and overall pony and help contribute to society instead of being a source of entertainment?.........
