Twilight and Tempest could only watch The Storm King as he went nuts with the power of four Alicorns stored inside his staff, as Twilight prayed that her friends would be able to stop this madness..... Madness....... Twilight's thoughts turned to her chaotic friend and wondered why he hasn't done anything to stop the Storm invasion yet. And as if her prayers were answered, the sun and moon started moving beyond the Storm tyrants control.... "What the? I'm not doing that! What's going on with this thing?!" The Storm King poked and prodded at his staff in confusion, until he heard a familiar laugh that made his bones shiver..... "Oh, nothing's wrong Stormy, it's just little old me paying a little visit....." The sun and moon were suddenly transformed into two yellow eyes as a grin formed below them, and it revealed that it was just an illusion to look far away when really the face was right in front of him. "DISCORD!?" "Wait, you know him?" Twilight was shocked how The Storm King knew the lord of chaos. "Of course I do! He's my ex." Twilight and Tempest's jaws dropped at this sudden reveal..... "Did you miss me Stormy? I missed you. It's been a while, hasn't it? What? A thousand years or more? Time flies by so fast." Discord grinned, as his eyes turned into clocks for a moment. "Discord.... You know The Storm King?.... And you used to DATE him?!" Twilight was a gasped. "Only temporarily! He got a little too clingy and his chaos was taking up the space in my castle, so I had to give him the boot." "Oh deep down you still enjoy my pranks Stormy." "That name, is OVER. Discord." "Temper temper, so what have you been up to recently? Trying to take over Equestria? Been there, done that. That game has gotten stale these last few months." Discord wrapped his slithering body around the Storm King, as he tried to resist his temptation. Twilight and Tempest could only try to resist throwing up on the Canterlot balcony, as they didn't want to get between their friend and boss's business. "I have a different spark in mind now Discord! And it starts, with a BANG!" Storm King pushed away Discord, then proceeded to blast lightning into the clouds, creating a massive storm. Numerous storm creatures and ponies were trying to flee from the tornado, with successful and unsuccessful results. "HAH HA HA HA HA!!! DO YOU SEE THAT DISCORD?! NOW I TRULY AM, THE STORM KING! AND THE ENTIRE WORLD, WILL BOW, TO MY BA BA BA BOOM BABY!" "Yes yes you are every BIT as powerful as I promised sire! Now, restore my horn. And I swear to use my magic to serve you-" "HAH HA HA HA! Who cares about your dinky little unicorn horn?" "But-..... We- we had an agreement!" "Get with the program! I USED YOU. It's kind of what I do....." Storm King tried to blast at Tempest, she braced for the shock...... But it didn't hit...... She OPENED UP HER EYES, and saw that Discord was blocking the blast with a giant fidget spinner. "Grr, Dissy, baby, could you please let me blast that broken horned unicorn?" "Oh, NOW you call me Dissy again? Sorry Stormy, but I was betrayed by someone I thought I could trust once, and I am NOT, letting it happen, to ANYONE else." Discord fired the fidget spinner at The Storm King, causing him to fall to the wall unconscious. Tempest could only take in that she was saved by a complete stranger..... "Why-..... Why did you save me?......" "Because this, is what friends do......" Tempest slowly formed a smile, as she believes that she has found new people she could trust. As she took their hoof and lion paw...... However, they were interrupted when they heard grunting from behind. "It's, not, over, yet! I still have my staff, and I'm gonna get rid of you all, ONE WAY OR ANOTH-" Storm King was suddenly hit by those cute ponies and was sent crashing into the rubble. "Bullseye!" "Pinkie! You all came back! I'm SO sorry, I was wrong to-" Pinkie embraced Twilight with a hug. "I'm sorry too, friends mess up some times but we NEVER should have-" "Uh, make up later! THIS, isn't over!" RD pointed at the staff stuck in the glass window, as it begun to blast the castle walls. "I've got to get control of it! Discord! Can you bring it to us?" "Where's Stormy?" "You SERIOUSLY still have it for him?" "What is he talking about?" RD asked Twilight about Discord's stranger then usual behavior. "He and The Storm King used to date!" "Ohhhh..... Wait, WHAT?!" Pinkie was shocked to hear this information. "A mind blower I know! But I need to get that staff before it destroys the castle!" "But Stormy!" "If you care about him so much, you look for him!" ................. "Fine!" Discord searched under the rubble to look for his ex. "Go! You've got this Twilight!" "No....... WE'VE got this....... Together." The ponies plus dragon formed a line, as AJ lassoed a rock to tie them to, as they grabbed to each other and tried to get Twilight to reach the staff. "Umm, guys.... I found him." "Don't TRY to stop me Discord! The staff, BELONGS TO ME." Twilight gasped as she saw The Storm King climbing the rocks to reach the staff, as her friends desperately tried to push her up so she could grab it before he could. "NO!!! THAT'S MY STAFF!!!" Storm King jumped and was now inches away from the staff, as was Twilight. "UGH!!! MINE!!!" "NO!!!" Twilight jumped up and grabbed the staff, but the glass broke, and she and The Storm King were pulled into the storm that plagued Canterlot. "TWILIGHT!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie and the others watched Twilight's presumed death..... As they all cried tears of sadness..... Discord on the other claw, merely watched with despair..... How could he let this happen?...... He's supposed to have all the powers of chaos in his claw tips....... And yet he didn't stop his ex from trying to destroy him and his friends...... Maybe Stormy was right...... Maybe it was time to move on...... But then, they saw a flash of light, and saw a hole that formed in the clouds..... Tears of sadness slowly formed into tears of joy, as they saw Twilight descending from the sky above, with the staff in hoof. Twilight's friends cheered in relief and happiness as they saw their BFF had survived as they approached her with open hooves. "EEE! Group hug! Eeeeeeeee!" Twilight embraced the hug, as she sighed in relief. Discord and Tempest watched from behind, relieved that Twilight has survived. Discord smiled as well, knowing that his friend was still alive and well...... They both turned to leave, until they heard a grunt from behind. They turned around, and saw that the king had survived, and pulled an obsidian orb out. Tempest quickly rushed in front of them as Discord had little time to react, and the Storm King threw the orb at the ponies. "NO!!!" Tempest took the hit, as she and The Storm King slowly froze into obsidian. Before Tempest could fall, Twilight caught her with the magic of the staff. And just before The Storm King hit the ground, he suddenly, froze........ Twilight and the others wondered what Discord was doing, until suddenly The Storm King's statue lifted into the air. "Discord, are you SURE you still want him around?" Twilight asked the Draconequus. "I just couldn't let him be smashed into a thousand pieces! You never once tried to do that to me." Discord told the ponies. "Oh Stormy, even though we've had our ups and downs, and even though you try to deny it, you're still the same hot headed creature that I fell to pieces for....." The ponies plus dragon could only gag at this news they received recently. "What are you going to do with him?" Twilight asked the chaos spirit. "I'll keep his statue around for a while, I know eventually his cold, stony heart will melt, in time..... And when it does, I'll be there to release him from his imprisonment, I never once thought that I could be reformed through the power of love, dear Fluttershy, I don't see why I can't do the same for old Stormy....." Fluttershy blushed at Discord's thankfulness for his reformation, as Discord teleported away with the statue. Twilight then unfroze Tempest, as she stumbled a little in shock, before turning to face Twilight and her friends...... "Now what?................." Twilight turned to face Tempest............... "Now......... We fix everything........"
