Worries

Fluttershy woke up in the middle of the night feeling thirsty. “I think i’m going to get myself a glass of water.” She said. She got out of bed and went downstairs. As she was about to get to the kitchen. She spotted Angel sitting in his bed. Still up with a worried look on his face. “Angel,” Fluttershy called. Angel looked to see his owner right there. And he can see she is worried about him right now. “Is everything okay?” She asked. Angel looked down and sighed. “No.” He said sadly. “Then what's wrong.” Fluttershy asked again. “It’s something stupid don’t worry about it.” Angel replied. Fluttershy walked towards him and sat in front of his bed.

“Angel.” Fluttershy started to talk. “I don’t care if it’s stupid, I don’t care if it’s silly. I’m your owner and i’m always here to listen to you. Something is bothering you and I want to know what it is.” “I just don’t know if you will understand.” “Of course I will understand. Go ahead, tell me what is the matter.” Angel got his words out and told Flutershy what is troubling him. “I just... don’t want to lose you.” Fluttershy softly gasped and covered her mouth with her hooves. “What do you mean by that?” She asked.

“I don’t want you to die. You are always here for me and you take care of me every single day. But when you go on adventures with your friends. It always worries me. I’m scared your going to get hurt, I’m scared if you get turned to stone, get frozen and all of that. I know sometimes i’m not the best pet. But on the inside, I love you. And I just don’t want you to be taken away from my life.” “Oh Angel.” Fluttershy pulled the crying Angel close. Hugging him as tears fell from her too.

She softly brushed the softness of Angels ears with her hooves as Angel slowly stops his tears. “I’m not going anywhere.” “And how?” Angel croaked. His mouth muffled by his caretakers fur. “I know something is going to happen to you and I won’t see you again.” “That might be true.” Fluttershy said starting to explain. “Sometimes bad things do happen when i’m out. Like when I turned into a bat pony and when my cutie mark was replaced, and when I got corrupted back when Discord was evil. But did I go back to normal?” “Yes.” Angel answered. “Of course.” Fluttershy said.

“I know one day something like that will happen. But I know you will be strong.” “But I can’t. I know you might be in danger and I just want to be with you all the time.” “I know that you might not have the courage to be strong. But I will let you know that I do make it out. And I still will be here with you. I know I might be gone for days or weeks, But I do make it home safe and sound. And then we hang out and play games together." Fluttershy was trying her best to have Angel smile again. But he was still sad.

“But what if you don’t make it home?” He asked. “I don’t know.” Fluttershy replied. “But that's not important right now. What is important is that i’m still here with you. And I know that some day I might die or you might die, But I still want you to be happy.” “I don’t know how I can be happy when you are gone. Because what if I go to a home where the owners are mean and abuse me. I know you do spoil me a lot, but that does not change the fact that i still care about you.”

“Look. I know that since i go on all of these adventures we don’t hang out as much. But you did get to go with us to that castle remember?” “But that was only one time.” Angel said. “I know that was one time i got to bring you along with me. But i still care about you.” “You do?” “Of course i do. You might think that I will go on all of these adventures with my friends and save the town. But i still care about you. You’re like a son to me and i’m like a mother to you. I also don’t want to let that all go.”

“How about this. I will talk to Twilight the next time we do something, And I will see about bringing you along with us.” “Really, I can go on an adventure with you?” Angel asked. “Of course. And that way you don’t have to be worried about me all the way back home.” “Do you really think it would be safe enough for me?” Angel asked. “I’m sure it won’t be so bad.” Fluttershy replied. “And that way we can still spend time together. Kind of like a family.” “Thanks Fluttershy” Angel said. Hugging his owner tightly. “You’re welcome Angel.” Fluttershy said.

“I’m going to drink some water and head back to bed okay?” Fluttershy let Angel down back onto his bed as she walked to the kitchen. “Wait Fluttershy.” She turned around to know what else Angel had to say. “I don’t want to sleep alone.” “Well I can sleep with you.” “Really?” “Of course. “Let me go drink a glass of water and I will be right there.” Fluttershy went to the kitchen. She got a cup and turned on the faucet and filled up the cup. She then drank it all and put the cup back in the sink. She then went to Angel who was waiting for her.

Angel moved over as Fluttershy climbed into his bed. He can already feel her pink mane touch his skin. “Come here.” She said softly. Angel scooted closer to his owner and rest’s his head on the fluff of her chest and fell asleep. Fluttershy then wraps her hooves around him and rests her chin onto Angels head.

“Sleep well, my little angel. Sleep well.” Fluttershy softly kisses Angel head as she drifts off to sleep.
