Try hard Discord

"Have no fear ponies, I have total confidence that you will be able to defeat Discord, with these......"

Celestia opened the box, only to discover that there were no elements inside, earning gasps from the ponies.....

Celestia dropped the box in horror and shock..........

"The elements! They're gone!"

"That chamber is protected by a powerful spell that I only I can break! This doesn't make sense......"

Celestia paced back and fourth across the hallway as she tried to grasp just how Discord broke the spell protecting the elements......

...............................

"Umm, I feel like now's the time we are given a hint where the elements are located?" Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"Now why in the hay would the answer be given to us on a silver platter when we just discovered the elements were stolen?" AJ asked.

"I don't know, it just seems like now would be the perfect time." She shrugged.

"Regardless, we need to find the elements! Wherever Discord took them, they shouldn't be far from here....."

Twilight paced around the room trying to speculate where someone like Discord would hide such powerful artifacts of Equestria......

Until she gazed outside the window leading to the Canterlot palace labyrinth.

"Mazes are twisty and turny, and Discord loves chaos..... Maybe he hid them in the palace labyrinth?"

"If your sure of it, we're with you Twilight." RD assured, as the ponies grouped and nodded their heads.

"Good luck my little ponies. The fate of Equestria, is in your hooves." Celestia stated, as she knighted the ponies with her horn.

"Thanks Princess, we won't let you down."

Twilight then left with her friends to the Canterlot maze to hopefully retrieve their missing elements....

The ponies gasped as they approached the entrance......

"We........ have to go in there?......" Fluttershy asked while cowering.....

"Nope! Dopey Discord forgot about THESE babies! I'll just do a quick fly over and we'll have the elements in no time." RD assured, but before she could fly over the maze, her own two wings suddenly disappeared into thin air, as she fell to the ground.

"My wings!"

Fluttershy screamed as her wings were removed as well.

"Your horn! My horn?! AAAAAAH!!!!" Twilight and Rarity both screamed as their horns were taken away.

"Oh my gosh! What do we do? What do we do?!" Fluttershy panicked over the loss of their wings and horns.

"How are we supposed to fight the maze if we don't have our horns?!" Rarity exclaimed, as she fell to the ground dramatically........

"Never fear girls! We have each other!" Twilight assured.

"Yeah! Like Twilight said, there's nothing we can't overcome if we all stick together!" RD riled her friends, as they stepped hoof into the maze.

"Alright girls, lets do this." Twilight stated.

"TOGETHER!"

However, walls begun forming in front of the mane six, as they all screamed over being separated from each other, unable to head in together.

However, one by one, Discord popped in from behind the ponies, and touched all six of them with his talons, turning them grey as they fell into a hypnotized trance.

Once he has Discorded all six of them, he destroyed the labyrinth as the ponies found themselves grouped again.....

"Why am I hanging out with you losers?! I'm outta here!" Rainbow Dash huffed, as she ran away from her former friends.

"I don't like you either!" Pinkie yelled, as she spat in defiance as she left.

"Oh, you can bet I'm staying right here!" Applejack lied, as she left with the others.

"Where are they?! Where are the gems?!" Rarity greedily ran looking for things to horde.

"Whatever! You guys are all lame to hang out with anyway!" Fluttershy bullied, as she left away from the others.

Twilight merely shed a tear, as her friends all abandoned and left her.....

She left Canterlot and made it back to Ponyville, intending on packing so she can leave and never come back.....

Discord turned his eye into a telescope and looked inside the golden oak library, and saw the dragon burping out messages from Celestia, trying to remind Twilight about her lessons on friendship.

Discord gasped, and teleported near Twilight.

He picked her up and teleported himself and her back to Canterlot, as he teleported away.

Twilight merely sighed, and continued to walk back to Ponyville.

After an hour, she made it back to Ponyville.

Discord with an annoyed groan, simply teleported Twilight back to Canterlot.

five hours later........

Twilight kept trying to walk back to her old library, until Discord gave up on keeping her away from her home.

"Fine! If I can't keep her from the letters, then I'll just destroy them before she reads them!"

Discord teleported inside the library, and with a snap of his fingers, reduced all the letters to ashes.....

Discord laughed maniacally, thinking he won......

Until Spike burped out another letter, as Discord's eyes popped in shock.

He gritted his teeth, and with a snap of his fingers, destroyed the letter Spike burped out, as Spike jumped in horror.

However, before Spike could react, he burped out another letter.

Discord was getting really annoyed, until he heard the door open behind them.

With a gasp, he teleported away from the library, as Twilight went inside her room.

'No no no!!! Don't read them!!!'

Twilight read the letters, and was soon Un-Discorded, much to Discord's chagrin.

However, Discord merely gave a smug smirk, as she still didn't know where her precious elements were located.....

"Spike! I just had the most wonderful revelation! We don't need the elements of harmony! My friendship with my friends IS the spiritual representation of the elements!"

Discord's jaw dropped as Twilight somehow came to that conclusion all on her own, must be because she knew Discord would only try to do something so complex if he knew the elements were what motivated them, to keep them distracted.

Discord could only gasp in horror as Twilight, one by one, un-Discorded all of her friends through the lessons she learned about friendship in Ponyville.....

'Stop it! STOP IT!!! I will NOT be going back into my stone time out! Not like this!'

When Twilight and her friends reached Rainbow Dash, she tried to cover her ears, but Pinkie screamed so loudly that she accidentally un-plugged them.

Twilight told her about her friendship lesson regarding loyalty, as Dash begun to un-Discord, much to Discord's shock and horror.

'NO! No no NO!!!'

They then begun to search for Discord, searching every nook and cranny in Ponyville......

They eventually found him hiding on top of the city hall roof, as they circled him from below the area.

"GET DOWN FROM THERE AND FIGHT!!!" Dash threatened.

"NO!!!" Discord retorted.

"We're going to use them regardless!" Twilight stated, as she and her friends charged the elements.

Discord, in a fight or flight response, teleported away from the building to a different location all the way into Canterlot.

He chuckled to himself, thinking he was safe.....

Until he heard a giant boom from behind him.......

He turned around, and saw a giant rainbow launched from Ponyville all the way into Canterlot headed right towards him.....

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed, as he begun to turn to stone once again.....

As he was incased in stone, all of the chaos he bestowed on Equestria was reversed, as the element bearers got their wings and horns back......

Discord cursed to himself as he felt his statue being carried by guards back into the sculpture garden.....

Later......

'It's not fair!!!'

Discord whined like a little baby inside his prison, he tried so, DANG, hard........

And he still failed..........

Discord wondered if the reason for his failure was because he didn't understand just how powerful friendship could be......

He could never succeed, because nothing is more powerful then friendship......

Discord merely sighed, as he stared into the garden in contemplation......

However, he was soon interrupted by the tiny pitter patter of foot steps, as the puny dragon stepped into his line of sight.

"HAH HAH!" He pointed and mocked, as he did a little taunt dance in front of him for burning the letters next to him, giving him a fright.

All Discord could do was give a non existent huff and say to himself, 'Whatever.'
