How do you know everything is ending?

That the world you once knew is dead and gone?

For me it started when RainbowDash got sick with it. Rainbow never gets sick- hurt sure! But never sick.
After we learned she got sick she locked herself in her home... and then we stopped hearing from her.

My... abilities told me to wear a mask almost all the time. I warned the cakes but they didn't listen... they said Rainbow just had a cold, and went on their vacation with the twins anyway...

The second to get sick was Rarity. "Just a little cold!" she said.

I knew it wasn't.

I tried to warn Twilight that something was wrong. That our friends, and other ponies, weren't falling sick with 'just a cold'. That something was very wrong.
But she was busy with princess duties and brushed me off.

Maybe- maybe if she hadn't she and the others-

The third to get sick was AJ, Applebloom falling sick quickly after. And then the rest of the apple family.

Shortly after that I went to see Fluttershy and Discord- hoping at least one of my friends would listen to me and be careful!

and...

Luckily Fluttershy listened.
Discord agreed with me- something was off. Both him and Fluttershy noticed- the animals were more anxious than usual and they stayed away from any sick pony, even if they were their owner. As such some ponies had to give Fluttershy their pets to take care of them.
None of the pets could say what was wrong- just that the sick ponies were... off.

Discord gave me a look before I left... he knew I was trying to get the girls to take the sickness seriously... and when he did I knew that, if worst came to worse- he would put Fluttershy's health above all else.
I cried that night cuddling Gummy.

That morning I woke up to screaming.
Ponies were attacking each-other. Those that had been sick had changed into crazy ponies! They were attacking anyone they could get their hooves on! The healthy, the sick, animals, themselves- anyone and everything was a target.

The screaming was so loud.

I grabbed a shovel and covered myself up with winter clothes and boots then ventured outside, after hiding Gummy in my clothes, and I ran to Twilight's.
I managed to make it inside but- Twilight wasn't here. Neither was Spike.

Now I'm alone in Twi's castle... and I can see the whole of Ponyville.

At first I saw a few ponies trying to survive and escape... but now one month after everything I've not seen a single pony in a few days.

Someone... or something- ended up blocking the main road. I watched a unicorn stallion and a filly try to escape that way threw the binoculars and well... they didn't make it.

I'm running out of supplies, I'll have to go out soon...

But I don't know where to go.

Do I go out into Ponyville? To the Everfree?

To be honest, both options suck... maybe... maybe they could help? They are stronger than the princesses and Discord! Though their powers are.... funny... kind of like her uh- weird powers...

Buck it, it's not like she has anything else she can do. All of her other options suck. She just needs to find a way to channel her powers...
