Backstory p2 //-------------------------------------------------------// SPOILERS!!! Backstory p2 Pinkie quietly walked threw the halls of Twi's castle looking for the object storage room. Gummy was riding on her back, snuggling into her hair to calm himself down- the poor little gator has been very anxious and scared ever sense the outbreak started. Pinkie's hooves tip-tapped on the cobble of the castle's floor as she peaked into each room. Even though she thought she was safe in here she still brought the shovel with her... she didn't want to figure out what would happen if she was caught without it. Eventually she finds the room, "Here we go Gummy!" she says, finding an unlabeled room but inside- oh inside is what she was looking for. She smiles and trots into the room excitedly, looking around for the item Twi had showed her... it's something that boosts a pony's latent magic. When she had touched the object before she had opened a rift and well- thats a story for another time! Eventually with some searching she finds the item in a magic glass box. "Here it is Gummy!" she grabs it and returns to where she had made her base... "Alright Gummy! How do we open this?!" she muses. The little gator jumps down and gets in his little bed. He blinks up at her unsure. She hums and tries to boot force it open, "Buck, it won't open!" she complains. She huffs and glances around, only to get an idea. "Oh! That would work! It... it would be loud though..." she looks down at the item... "It would be worth it though." she looks over at Gummy, "Be good Gummy, I'll be right back!" She grabs the item and walks over to the highest banister- then throws the glass case over. It falls, and falls, and falls, Then- It shatters on the floor. "Yay! I did it!" She rushes downstairs to grab it, and quickly returns to base. Not noticing the infected ponies outside trying to get in. "Ok... now it's time for this thing to work it's magic!" She sets it down on the table, and touches her hoof to it. After a moment, a window opens... //-------------------------------------------------------// Fragile Safety //-------------------------------------------------------// Fragile Safety Hours later the strange channel uploads again. Why did you keep track of it? Something deep down in your heart, maybe your soul- if such things exist. Found it intriguing. Whoever was making the video- videos? Was very talented. The screen was blurry and full of static as it came into view, "H- H- l- l- ooo?" the pink pony's voice echoes eerily as it comes into view. With a small shake of the screen it slowly goes into full focus with minimal errors. "Th- ere." the pony says. She pulls back, and once she does you can see the blood splatters on her coat and mane, and a saddlebag resting nearby. "I fought them off- but the castle isn't safe anymore... I'm going to have to leave no matter what now. I- I've packed up my things... But I still can't decide where to go... can you help me chose where?" she asks, "And uhm... thank you for coming back. Or staying? I'm not sure how long it's been for you. It's only been maybe- thirty minutes for me." "Where should I go? I feel like the Everfree is sort of the best bet... but is there a better place to go? I can't think of where that would be..." Where should Pinkie go? Backstory p1 //-------------------------------------------------------// SPOILERS!!! Backstory p1 How do you know everything is ending? That the world you once knew is dead and gone? For me it started when RainbowDash got sick with it. Rainbow never gets sick- hurt sure! But never sick. After we learned she got sick she locked herself in her home... and then we stopped hearing from her. My... abilities told me to wear a mask almost all the time. I warned the cakes but they didn't listen... they said Rainbow just had a cold, and went on their vacation with the twins anyway... The second to get sick was Rarity. "Just a little cold!" she said. I knew it wasn't. I tried to warn Twilight that something was wrong. That our friends, and other ponies, weren't falling sick with 'just a cold'. That something was very wrong. But she was busy with princess duties and brushed me off. Maybe- maybe if she hadn't she and the others- The third to get sick was AJ, Applebloom falling sick quickly after. And then the rest of the apple family. Shortly after that I went to see Fluttershy and Discord- hoping at least one of my friends would listen to me and be careful! and... Luckily Fluttershy listened. Discord agreed with me- something was off. Both him and Fluttershy noticed- the animals were more anxious than usual and they stayed away from any sick pony, even if they were their owner. As such some ponies had to give Fluttershy their pets to take care of them. None of the pets could say what was wrong- just that the sick ponies were... off. Discord gave me a look before I left... he knew I was trying to get the girls to take the sickness seriously... and when he did I knew that, if worst came to worse- he would put Fluttershy's health above all else. I cried that night cuddling Gummy. That morning I woke up to screaming. Ponies were attacking each-other. Those that had been sick had changed into crazy ponies! They were attacking anyone they could get their hooves on! The healthy, the sick, animals, themselves- anyone and everything was a target. The screaming was so loud. I grabbed a shovel and covered myself up with winter clothes and boots then ventured outside, after hiding Gummy in my clothes, and I ran to Twilight's. I managed to make it inside but- Twilight wasn't here. Neither was Spike. Now I'm alone in Twi's castle... and I can see the whole of Ponyville. At first I saw a few ponies trying to survive and escape... but now one month after everything I've not seen a single pony in a few days. Someone... or something- ended up blocking the main road. I watched a unicorn stallion and a filly try to escape that way threw the binoculars and well... they didn't make it. I'm running out of supplies, I'll have to go out soon... But I don't know where to go. Do I go out into Ponyville? To the Everfree? To be honest, both options suck... maybe... maybe they could help? They are stronger than the princesses and Discord! Though their powers are.... funny... kind of like her uh- weird powers... Buck it, it's not like she has anything else she can do. All of her other options suck. She just needs to find a way to channel her powers... Author's Note How the world ended, and how Pinkie ended up alone. //-------------------------------------------------------// The channel //-------------------------------------------------------// The channel While browsing Youtube you find a brand new upload, done only moments ago that was a few minutes long. It seemed to be an analog horror type video, but nothing else was clear. Feeling intrigued you check it out; "Hello? Is this working?" A bright pink mare, you think you recognize her as Pinkiepie, honestly you never got very into the show. Asks aloud shakily, "Y- You are there right? ... Please-" Her tail twitches and her head turns to the camera, "Oh you are here! Oh thank Celestia! Please! I need help!" Wow the My Little Pony fandom sure got weird in the time you left. Not having realized this was an MLP thing, and not being interested in that, you go to leave the page only- "Please, don't leave! I- I really need your help!" She says worried and desperate. Did... did she just talk to you? "Well... you didn't leave so- I'm guessing your listening. Please, I need your help. I'm trapped in Ponyville. The way out is blocked and I'm running out of supplies. I- I don't know what to do... Please- there's got to be something you can do to help me! You lot watch my world all the time, your more powerful than Celestica! When you actually do stuff... And- I- I really need your help. Please." Suddenly the video cuts off with the sound of something breaking what sounds like a door in the background and then loud groaning. "Oh Buck! They must have heard me getting the device out! I'll contact you latter! Just- please help me!" There are no likes or comments on the video yet- it seems your the first... will you help Pinkie?
