EVERYPONY LOOK OUT!

A huge wave was towering over the beach, nearly blocking out the sun with two mares riding the wave, terrified looks on their faces.

Cocoa called out to the two mares: “Zipp! Bailey! Be careful!”

“Try to aim for the beach! The sand might cushion your fall!” came the voice of Sunny Starscout.

Hitch and Misty were both trying to get everypony out of the way of the incoming tidal wave which was mostly working except for poor Posie who couldn't get out in time and had no choice but to cover her head at the last moment and get completely drenched.

The giant wave overtook the beach and was heading straight towards Sunny’s smoothie cart in the town of Maretime Bay.

Princess Pipp turned to Sunny and Cocoa and asked, clearly terrified “Whats going on here?! Why is Zipp riding a huge wave straight towards us?!”

Cocoa turned to her and said “Yeah, I'm sure you're wondering why there are 2 mares riding a wave that big. It all started when…

Two Horses walked into the town of Maretime Bay. One with a light brown coat, blue eyes, and a pink barrette on her head. The other had a tan coat, with orange eyes. And she was carrying her surfboard on her back. Upon entering town they were spotted by a orange Earth Pony and White Pegasus sitting on a beach drinking smoothies. Upon seeing the horses, the Earth Pony jumped off the beach to say hello.

“Welcome to Maretime Bay! I'm Sunny Starscout and this is my friend Zipp Storm.” Sunny said while pointing back over to Zipp.

“Hi!” the brown horse replied. “My name is Cocoa, and this is my friend Bailey.”

“Nice to meet you fillies” Bailey said with a smile.”

Zipp had now trotted over to the group and asked “Haven't seen you guys around here before. Where are you two from.”

“Oh, we're from the town of Wild, a great little town just west of Equestria.” Cocoa said looking back out of town the way she came from.

Sunny’s eyes lit up when she heard that Cocoa and Bailey were travelers from somewhere she had never heard of before. “Wow! I've never heard of Wild! What's it like there? And what brings you to Maretime Bay?”

Zipp couldn't help but smile at Sunny’s excitement.

Cocoa answered the first part of Sunny’s question “Wild is a little beach town, with a carnival, pool house, dance studio and the world's best Cafe to get a cup of Cocoa at , which is my shop by the way.” Cocoa said with a giggle.

Bailey stepped in to answer the second part of Sunny’s question “ and we’re here because I heard Maretime Bay has the sickest waves anywhere around! Surfs Up!” Bailey held out her surfboard as she said the last part.

Zipp grinned and with a playfully cocky tone said , “well if your lookin’ for epic waves, you heard right! Maretime Bay has the gnarliest waves in all Equestria! And i'm always looking for someone to ride the waves with me!”

“Trot on!” Bailey yelled, almost looking as excited as Sunny was to hear of a new town “You wanna come with me? I gotta ride those waves!”

Zipp replied With a joyful smile “ sure! Come on, I'll show you the way!”

And with that, Zipp and Bailey galloped towards the ocean.

Cocoa noticed the drink Sunny and Zipp had been drinking. curious, she asked Sunny “what's that stuff you and Zipp were drinking?

Sunny looked down at her cup and replied “oh just some smoothies I made, I run a smoothie cart in town, It's down by the beach right now. Would you like to try one of my smoothies?”

Cocoa licked her lips before saying “I'd love to. Maybe we can watch Bailey and Zipp surf afterwards.”

Sunny smiled back and replied “sounds like a great plan!”

And with that, the two mares trotted towards Sunny’s smoothie cart at the beach

A short while later, Sunny and Cocoa were sitting by Sunny’s smoothie cart, after Sunny had made a Strawberry/Banana smoothie for Cocoa.

“This is delicious! Cocoa said with a small amount of smoothie stuck on her nose. “Bailey’s made me smoothies before, but this is on a whole new level!”

Sunny was delighted to here it “oh, thanks! I've been making smoothies ever since I was a little filly. “

Cocoa, replied, “if you're ever in Wild, you have to try my world famous Triple Peppermint Rise and Shine Hot Cocoa! If you ever need a quick kick of energy, it's the best there is. My friend Finley can attest to that!”

Just about then Princess Pipp Pedals was walking by and noticed Sunny talking to a new mare in town. She gracefully flew over to say hello, but just before the words came out of her mouth the 2 ponies an 1 horse heard a loud scream…

Seconds later, the huge wave crashed straight into the three mares destroying Sunny’s smoothie cart in the process.

After overcoming the impact of the wave, everypony looked to Zipp and Bailey.

Pipp, still in shock yelled out “oh my hoofness! Zipp! Are you alright?!”

Zipp looked a little dazed but no worse for wear. “Yeah I'm OK…” as soon as she had said this, Pipp had grabbed her sister into a big hug.

Bailey, amazingly unfazed, stood right up yelling “Cowabunga! That was awesome!” Before she noticed Sunny’s smoothie cart in peices…”oh no, not cool. Sorry about that Sunny.”

After catching her breath, Sunny gave a small smile and said. “Oh don't worry about it Bailey. As long as you're both alright, that's all that really matters. I can Always repair my cart, but I can't replace a friend.”

Cocoa spoke up, “aside from ruining Sunny’s smoothie cart, that was incredible you two! I've never seen a wave that big!”

Zipp smiled and said “what'd I tell you? Maretime Bay has the gnarliest waves in all Equestria!”

At this everypony started laughing. Cocoa finally said. Well if everyday in Maretime Bay is as exciting as this, I think we'll be coming by again a lot more often.

Sunny once again beamed with joy at that statement! “Of course! Come by anytime! You can stay in the Crystal Brighthouse with us!”

Cocoa nodded Before saying “you bet! I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
