The Tin Stallion

A white stallion trotted to the gilded throne and sat. Flames licked his body as blood fell from his form. A dragon came from the shadows and put out the embers.


A campfire’s embers blew in the wind and coalesced into a stallion. A white stallion stood and trotted to the gilded throne. Removed his sword, the stallion passed the throne. A dragon moved out of the shadows and blew smoke out its nostrils. The stallion ready his sword. The dragon slewed the stallion.

The stallion stood, his sword stained with the dragon's blood. His victory was achieved. The stallion collapsed. A set of hooves approached the fallen stallion. A mystery mare stood they and lit up her horn. Golden light entered him and the mare spoke “Rise my knight, there is still work to be done.”


The stallion woke up healed. The mare sat near a campfire and the stallion approached her. He sat, and the mare smiled at him warmly. He returned it. The mare lit her horn and the fire changed color then reverted. The two glanced at one another and shared a nod.

The stallion stood up and trotted southwards. For some time he traveled. Traveled to the realm of Bitu, where he found flame and was comforted. The stallion traveled once more and arrived at the highest castle. He trotted through the massive doors. There stood a massive elk

The elk placed a helmet on his head and said. -“I am King Lugh, Lord of the Tuatha de Danann. Submit to me, knight, I will restore what you've lost.”- The knight unsheathed his sword and lit his horn. The two fought for thirty days and thirty nights before the stallion was slane.

The mare smiled while the stallion bowed his head. He stood up and traveled back to the castle. The stallion steeled himself and unsheathed his sword.

He crossed the threshold and saw King Lugh once more. The stallion was engulfed in flames as The elk antlers glowed. The two fought for forty days and forty nights before the stallion was butchered.

The stallion came forth through the flames. He gazed at his scorched form and collapsed. The stallion picked himself up and stared into the flames. He looked at the mount, then at flames once more. He traveled to the castle, passing the threshold and lighting the flame within. The elk and stallion fought for fifty days and fifty nights before the stallion was crushed.

Flames coalesce into a stallion, the stallion fell to the ground, and like before he picks himself up and examines his sword. He closed his eyes and flames enveloped his sword. The stallion stood up and traveled to the castle, he crossed the threshold and began his fight once more. The elk and stallion fought for sixty days and sixty nights.


The stallion blocked an attack with his shield and countered with a swing. Two blades clash three times before the stallion achieved his victory. His enemy burned from his fatal wound. the stallion trotted forward and carved open the elk’s chest and pulled out his heart. The stallion raised it to the sky and the dark clouds parted as the sun shone down.

The heart glowed, and the stallion was rooted in place, unable to move. In a flash, the white mare was revealed. She slowly approached the stallion with a serene smile. The mare caressed his cheek and then drifted down to his chest. She then pulled out his heart and grabbed the elks. She kissed him on the cheek and disappeared in a bright flash.

The stallion collapsed into a pull of blood. For hours he stayed till a whisper went through his ears. “You will not die yet, get up filth and return what has been lost.”

The stallion’s white fur was replaced with silver metal. Silence fell for a moment, then the metal stallion rose to his hooves, picked up his sword, and looked to the sky. Blood-red skies and black storm clouds rage over the desolate lands. The stallion grabbed his sword and descended the mountain.
