laughing and joy, the one great thing I love to see from them. applejack and rainbow of course challenging themselves to see who's better in arm wrestling, pinkie jumping around and singing and doing random activity while rarity and fluttershy sit and talk about either fashion or wildlife. But for me I decided to go get a drink and admire the view. these great ponies or mostly my best friends, willing to help a strange human like me adjust to their world and culture. not going to lie it's almost like earth but just ponies instead......weird kind of.

I feel a small hoof tap me on my arm, and as I look down, I see the pony who let me in and treated me like everyon- I mean "pony" else and the princess of magic, "hey anon, how are you liking the party". She looks and me with a genuine smile and warmth, she looks like a cute plushie that I just wanna squeeze.

I return the look she gave me "it's another wacky pinkie party like usual but like always its crazy fun, though I don't think celebrating a potted plant birthday is really needed." I look at the potted aloe vera plant in the middle of the bakery floor, as I say this and felt a weird sense of a glare coming from it but quickly move my gaze to the floor and I take a sip of my fruit punch.

she giggles and speaks up "well it is pinkie pie, you'll get used to it" yeah, she is right as I shake my head in agreement to her statement. I lean against the table and look and talk to twilight, and as I look at her, I just want to savor this moment as for anything can happen in the near future......or for when I get back home. I lost start to lose myself in deep thought as I think about my home and people, I left behind...they probably think I'm dead. as soon as I was going to go further in the thought process twilight called out to me, as I look down, it looks like she knew what I was thinking. "You're going to get back home, and everyone will be really happy to see you again, live and well I'll make sure of it."

she has a look of dedication and inspiration, that same look I've known to trust and look to whenever I'm in a rut, "you're right Twi thank you." as I was about to say something else an energetic song came on and I see the girls stopped everything and let the dancing demon consume them. twilight felt the energy as well and drags me to the dance floor, I thought to myself should I really. But at this point fuck it, let's have some fun. I get on the dance floor and let everything loose. Everything was fine and everything went so well.

I wake up finding myself lying on the ground, a burning sensation strikes me in my left side as it feels like a fire has been hitting me. I groaned and gritted as I tried to get up and see what happened. as I looked around, I noticed that I crashed into a boulder. I looked to the right and see twilight starting to get up from the ground as smoke floats from her golden armor. as I get up holding my side, but soon as I was about to make my way towards twilight, I feel magic encase me. I start feeling the burning start to calm down and disperse, I look down and see that my wound is healing and look behind me to see cozy glow healing me, she gives me a smirk and says, "your welcome!" as she uses her wings and take off back into the battlefield. I look at the field of war as I see, some changelings fly off with weaken ponies and creatures, sombra soldiers fighting mindless.

"I hate it. I hate that it all lead to this." I walk towards twilight, and she fully gets up, I throw a left hook into her face knocking her head around for a bit as I deliver a kick pushing her to the ground, as she fully realized what's happening before, I was about to hit her again, she teleports 10 feet back and tried to blast a magic wave at me. I lift both of my arms and let my gauntlets absorb her magic. she stops and cast chains to try to stop me place, I think of explosive wave and the magic the gauntlets held releases it and breaks the chains surrounding me.

she looks at me with shocked expression and decided to take flight to get a better advantage. I tried to blast her out the air until she speeds up her flight and soon teleport. I don't know where she went but the moment, I turned I felt nothing, but a punch hit me in the head, for a good second I saw white but soon saw the world colors as I get up feeling dazed. as I try to fix myself, I see blast of magic and quickly dodge it and use a high flash to disorient her senses and shoot a blast of magic back at her finally hitting my mark as she fell back to the ground. I get up and make my way to her.

*badum, badum, badum* my heart is beating fast, the adrenaline stills rush through me as my hands still shake.I put my hand on my chest, to calm down. "Be still my iron heart" I get closer before I stop Infront of her. "All of this fighting, for what. for a what 49% chance it might work. all I asked was to return but not instead we caused all this".

I look at her, the tip of her horn black from extreme use of magic, golden armor damage and looks of shattering pieces, cuts and blood from each blow and strike, she breathes heavy trying to catch her breath and regain stamina, and yet as I see her expression looks of hate and regret, no longer that same smile I cherished before. "The princess made their choice, and I did the math taking you back home would cause universal damage!" twilight yells at me, I've heard this same speech before and I'm tired of it.

"Shut up, I've heard that sentence. I already have the three princesses magic and all I need is yours to make it true.", I look at her and then look up and see the damaged city of canterlot, "all hail the princesses, let us remember them and cherish as protectors and not......this". sadness and regret strike me as I see her, but I know I have to leave these feelings on the side. "Gods, if your there, is it all for naught."

But no, more time wasting its either now...or never.

bear with me, as for this is my first chapter of EVER posting any story. ngl i think it shows lol but either way, I do hope you enjoy it. I might continue this but also maybe not it's really hard to say. but leave your crits in the comments and let me know what you think.
