“Heeeey there Pippsqueaks and horse pals!
Princess Pipp here! So happy to be joining you all for this episode of Candi's corner!”

“Incase you didn't know, Pipp here is hosting our first ever hoof polish design contest at her salon Mane Melody!”

“That's riiiight! We're pitting Jazz Hooves, my personal friend who happens to be the best hoof polish designer in all Maretime Bay against…”

“Wild's very own Perla! You heard that right horse pals. At this very minute, Perla is in her clubhouse which she brought all the way to Maretime Bay, deciding what designs she's going to use”

“And each contestant is currently working with 3 partners who will be graciously providing their Hooves for the contest! Jazz is currently talking with Posie Bloom, Misty Brightdawn, and…Her Majesty herself, my mom Queen Haven!!”

“Wow! A queen is getting in on the action! Although Perla may not have royal hooves to work with, she'll be working with her friends, Tilly, Dreamer, and Bailey!”

“We have 4 judges who have vowed to give their honest opinion and not let personal bias cloud their judgement. For our 1st judge from Equestria we have Local Sheriff and best Pony Dragon Dad around…Hitch Trailblazer!”

“For our 1st judge from Wild, we have a mare who knows a thing or two about style and flair. She also makes the best macarons in ALL of Wild… Cherie!!”

“Our 2nd judge from Equestria is a pro at Unicycling and the most creative pony I know…Izzy Moonbow!”

“And Rounding out the judges, we have the dancing sensation, the prima ballerina, who loves to choreograph dances for her besties…Bridget!!”

“But wait, I know what your thinking. What if the results end in a tie?! Well That's where YOU come in! If the score ends at 2 for Jazz and 2 for Perla…”

“Then we’ll be picking a guest at random to be the tie breaking vote. So if you want the chance to be the deciding vote make sure to trot on by!”

“That’s right Candi! So be sure to stop by Mane Melody on the…”

“HEY PIPP! DID YOU MOVE MY TOOTHBRUSH? I DON’T SEE IT ANYWHERE”

“Uh, No Sis. I didn’t touch your toothbrush.”

“ARE YOU SURE? I COULDA SWORN I LEFT IT RIGHT HERE LAST NIGHT.”

“ZIPP! I’m live! Keep it down!

Ehem.

Anyway, stop by Mane Melody at 10:00 on…”

“PIPP DARLING! IS CLOUDPUFF IN THERE WITH YOU? ITS TIME FOR HIS WALKSIES AND I CAN’T FIND HIM ANYWHERE!”

“Ughhh.” No Mom, he’s not in here. Just let me finish here and I’ll find him.”

“Sorry about that everypony. I gotta go but thanks for having me on today Candi. Pipp Pipp Hooray!”

“Uh well, that’s what happens when you livestream. But as Pipp was trying to say, stop by Mane Melody this friday at 10:00! See you there!

Friday the 10th.
9:00 AM

The streets of Maretime Bay were packed with Ponies and Horses.

Sunny Turned to Cocoa “Isn’t this exciting?! I haven’t seen the streets this crowded since last Nightmare Night!

Cocoa nodded. “Sure is. Most of Wild made the trip out here to cheer for Perla.”

Pipp trotted up to Sunny and Cocoa and said “You horses can root for Perla all you want. But I have faith Jazz will take home the trophy!”

“No way!” came the voice of Candi. “Perla is gonna stampede over the competition and take home the gold. Right, Finley?”

Finley immediately blurted out “Uh…Yes! Wait, No! I mean maybe? Aw Candi you know I'm not good with predictions” and with that, Finley ran off somewhere else.

Sunny looked worried, “Uh is she OK?”

But Cocoa replied “oh she'll be fine. Finley just isn't the best at making decisions. But the only time it was ever a problem was at Bridget's birthday last year. She couldn't decide where we were going to have her surprise party and whether to have cake or pie. We kinda got into a fight about it…” Cocoa looked a bit sheepish as she said that last part.

Candi realized she probably shouldn't have asked Finley to make a decision about something so trivial. “Oh, I should go apologize to her”

Pipp spoke up “Well it's kinda my fault too. If I had kept my mouth shut instead of teasing you about who would win the contest, we could've avoided this whole thing…I'll go apologize too.”

Candi gave a genuine smile and said “Thanks Pipp.”

so while Cocoa and Sunny stayed in the street around Mane Melody to mingle, Pipp and Candi went to look for Finley and apologize. But before they got very far, they heard the squeals of three little fillies.

“Oh my gosh! It's Princess Pipp! a little orange Unicorn filly yelled. A blue Pegasus and light green Earth Pony right behind her.

“Hey there Pippsqueaks! Are you here for the hoof polish design contest?”

“We sure are!” The blue Pegasus said beaming up at Pipp.

Pipp suddenly remembered her manners “Oh right… Pippsqueaks, this is Candi. She's my new friend from Wild, which is just west of Equestria. Candi, this is Seashell, Peach Fizz, and Glory. They're some of my fans in Maretime Bay.

Candi reached out her hoof to greet the girls “Hi fillies! Nice to meet ya”

The three fillies stared at Candi for a moment before Seashell broke the silence. “Wait! Candi as in the host of the Candi's Corner vlog? The fillies looked up at Candi with starry eyes.

Candi couldn't help but think they were the cutest little fillies she had ever seen.

“One and the same horse pals! …Uh I mean little ponies!”

Glory squealed and grabbed her phone from her feathers, holding it up to show an image of Candi posing in front of her Candy Cart back in Wild. “After Pipp told us about Wild, we looked it up and your vlog was the first thing that popped up!”

Seashell added “We've been binge watching your Youhoof channel for the last week! We Had a sleepover last night at my house last night and stayed up watching your videos”

Peach Fizz immediately looked panicked. ”Please don't tell our parents we stayed up past our bedtime!”

“Oh don't worry. Your secrets safe with me” Candi said with a smile and a wink.

“But please try not to stay up too late” Pipp added. “Little Ponies need their rest.”

The three fillies all said in unison “Yes Princess Pipp.”

Seashell then asked “Uh Candi? Do you think you could introduce us to Perla?”

Peach Fizz spoke up, “yeah! Your episode about when the giant pumpkin trapped her inside her clubhouse is our favorite episode!”

Glory finished, “and we really wanna see the clubhouse and meet Perla!”

Candi thought for a moment before answering, “Well, she's probably busy right now since the contest starts in less than an hour.”

But when she looked at the fillies’s adorable faces, she couldn't find it in her heart to say no.

“OK. Let's go see if Perla has a minute or two.”

“OMG! we're going to meet Perla guys!” Glory said.

“I know! This is the best day ever!” Said Seashell.

Peach Fizz looked to Pipp and said “but don't worry, we still love you too Pipp!”

Pipp blushed slightly upon hearing that and responded “oh don't worry about it. I've been working on my jealousy ever since that day when Hitch let me dragon sit Sparky, and I couldn't compete with his adorableness on my socials.”

And so Candi and Pipp took the 3 Pippsqueaks to Perla’s clubhouse so they could meet her. But Pipp and Candi couldn't help feeling they were forgetting something…

If you've made it this far thanks for reading my story. This is a 2 chapter story and the second chapter is already written. I plan to upload it in a week. (As long as I remember.)

Although I'm a fan of MLP G4 AND G5 I thought the Wild Manes characters would fit better in the G5 era since the horses of Wild have similar technology.
