Another night shift had been assigned to Midnight Blossom, as uneventful and boring as all the previous ones. This one would have ended just as mundanely as the others, save for the fact that she had been given something very special—something she planned to make use of tonight.
Her Christmas gift from Valiant Steed was particularly unique. It wasn't a delicious pastry or a free gift card to her favorite restaurant. It wasn't even something physical, but something else entirely. Yesterday night, Valiant took Midnight for a moment from her night shift, telling her to keep quiet as he began to show her the way to a certain room: the royal cake depository.
Hidden in the most ingenious way possible, Midnight was eventually shown the location of the castle cake repository, only after being led through corridor after corridor, hallway after hallway. Strangely enough, there were no royal guards nearby when she was first led down here, and the same applied today as she tried to remember which castle hallways to go down to find the room on her own. While it was probably because this hallway was known to her for not having anything important, knowing that this was the location of the cake repository had changed her entire perspective. With smirks exchanged between the two, Midnight knew that this was something she would take advantage of greatly.
Midnight walked in, and what she saw was... heaven.
It was a realm of sheer ecstasy. As she ventured deeper into the dessert sanctuary, the royal cake repository unfurled before her like a magical tapestry, a haven transcending mere confectionary delights. Bringing her hoof to her muzzle, she licked the frosting off her lips. The sweetness took her by surprise, feeling almost dreamlike. Before she knew it, she gave her hoof another lick, only to be met with a more salty texture as she realized the frosting was gone.

Wasn't this less obvious than her initial blunder? After all, Celestia regularly took slices like these, right? Confirming that other cakes also bore missing slices, Midnight smirked at her successful attempt to conceal the tampering.
The question still remained—what to do with the cake? Discarding it risked discovery by a vigilant guard, potentially aggravating Celestia more than a tampered cake would. Tossing it out a window posed its own risks with frequent patrols.
Then the notion of consuming it crossed her mind.
Eating it would eliminate the evidence, concealed within Midnight Blossom. It was the only logical solution, she concluded.
Approaching the slice of red velvet cake, she marveled at its perfection—a culinary masterpiece. The moist crumb structure, vibrant red streaks, and the intoxicating aroma of cocoa and vanilla showcased the baking expertise. Licking the last remnants of velvet cake off her hoof, she scurried out of the room. Her mission, in her mind, was an astounding success. Yet, even if unspoken, Midnight acknowledged that future visits to this room were inevitable.
Returning to her post in the castle's hallways, she almost collided with—
"Captain, what are you doing out of your post?"
Princess Luna herself.
Midnight quickly faked the best smile she could and saluted.
"One of the guardsmares was seen trotting around these hallways! I was just ordering her back to her post, my Princess."
Luna's expression, a mix of confusion and gentle apathy, faded quickly as Midnight held her salute.
"Very well, Midnight. Report the name of this guard if she repeats this behavior."
"Yes, Princess!"
Luna trotted off, leaving Midnight alone as her anxiety died back down. Ensuring Luna was gone, she sighed and continued her gallop back to her post. As she did, she ran her tongue over her teeth, desperate to find any lingering traces of the delicious slice.
It might have been her first visit, but it certainly wouldn't be her last.
Far from it.

Several nights had passed since the bat captain had found Celestia's forbidden storage, and in each one of those nights, Midnight had managed to sneak more in every time. An extra bite there, an extra slice here... She adored it every time. It had gotten to the point where visiting this room was becoming the thing she looked the most forward to every night. When the first shift had ended with her slipping past in the last hour she was on guard, the second night she decided to venture out an hour earlier, and then another hour... she was so excited at the thought of just visiting this room every time, it eventually became all she could think about while on her post. Visiting that amazing, delicious cake room, getting a chance to look at the amazing cakes and take slices out of her favorites before she was caught. This was a trend that continued for nights.
This night, Midnight barely spent any time on her post at all, nearly immediately rushing down the hallways in a less careful manner than the previous nights.
Upon finally entering the room once more, she took in the sight of cakes. Each time she ventured in and took in the gallery of cakes, she had seen many differences. Old cakes she saw the nights prior were usually replaced with newer cakes, sometimes some of them grander and more appetizing... Other cakes usually had more and more slices taken out of them, but at this point, Midnight was starting to forget which carved cakes were because of her or Celestia. As long as she was left alone in her room however, she counted every cake as hers.
There were always so many to choose from, each one so delicious and tantalizing, but there was one in particular she was looking for. As she walked forward, she spotted it.
"There you are."
The cake she decided to try in last night's adventure: a towering, delicious banana cake. But something didn't seem right.
It was half gone.
This wasn't her, was it? It had to have been Celestia. She's just hungrier lately, probably. Yeah, that's it. She'd only taken a slice from it every night.
But... she could still remember the delicious banana taste lingering, even a day later. It tasted so delicious. Celestia wouldn't notice another slice taken from the cake, right? It was already half gone...
And it was so... delicious...
She wasted no time, dragging in a nearby chair with her mouth and taking a seat, right in front of the banana cake.
Mmmm.
She didn't even carve a portion of the cake this time, she just went straight for it. The thought of eating it yesterday was so distracting, it made her grab a chunk out with her hoof and shove it straight into her muzzle.
And it tasted just as heavenly as the last time she had it. So deliciously creamy and juicy, she chewed with such greed that it made her chewing very clearly audible, but she was the only one that could hear it.
She spent no time between finishing the first piece she shoved into her mouth and the next, desperate to fill her mouth with even more of the cake. She shoveled the next piece while still chewing on the previous one, her mouth now completely filled to the brim with pure, fattening banana cake.
With her mouth completely full, she spent the next minute doing nothing but chewing... and chewing. The sounds of her munching and lip smacking became audibly louder as she reveled in the delicious cake. Another moan attempted to escape her mouth, but it was completely stifled with how filled her mouth still was despite spending so much time still chewing. She didn't know it, but she was smiling
Finally, she tilted her head back and gulped, a hearty one that carried down the weight of hundreds of calories. The rich texture of the cake heavily reminisced in every corner of her mouth and tongue. The gulp was so satisfying that she began to let out a sigh of pleasure.
Haaaaaa - UUORP!
A belch escaped her stained lips, making her snout flash with a mild red. Even if she knew she was completely alone, the unexpected noise made her turn around in pure anxiety. She let out another sigh, this one in a relief of anxiety instead of pleasure, and went back to smiling.
She gazed at the banana cake one more time, this time it was very clearly eaten out of. She licked her lips and used both of her hooves this time to shovel an even larger piece of cake into her mouth, repeating the same delicious process as before.
Minutes passed as she continued to tear away at the banana cake, once huge in its sheer size, now slowly whittled down, portion by portion. Midnight was practically in a gluttonous trance at this point, not even giving herself the time to chew as she constantly shoveled more and more of the cake into her increasingly dirtied muzzle. This was probably the best exercise she's given her jaw in quite some time. She didn't even give herself time to breathe, her brain so heavily concentrating on constantly filling her mouth with the rich texture she didn't know when to stop. She wanted to finish the entire cake, because even if she didn't want to admit it, her stomach did.
Eventually, she reached out one final time. Her stained hooves met no creamy object, only the air. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped, still full of the last remaining portion of cake.
Was the entire cake already gone?
She could have sworn she'd only taken a few bites out of it, maybe for a minute or two. She gulped the last remaining cake down as she desperately licked the remnants of the destroyed cake on her hooves, looking for any last pieces of the most delicious thing she had ever eaten. The table, her lips, even the small stained spots that had dropped from her mouth onto her belly.
It was all... gone. All of it.

This belch, longer and louder than the last, made her realize how despite not feeling full yet, she was starting to feel it sit. Caught in a greedy trance of endlessly shoveling the cake down her throat, it was only up until now where she realized how stuffed her belly was starting to become.
She rubbed her stomach gently, the sensation of the cake settling in her gut making her realize what she had done. She had eaten a lot. She had never eaten this much in her life.
And it felt... good.
As if on cue, she let out another loud groan.
"Ooooouuuurgh..."
She was so stuffed. So full. And it felt so amazing.
Midnight looked back at the empty space where the cake once stood, and she couldn't help but smile. She had eaten all of it. She had devoured an entire cake, even if it took several nights, and she had loved every minute of its aftermath.

She let out another long belch and rubbed her belly even harder, this time letting her hooves sink deep into the growing fat that had started to form over her stomach. She was so stuffed, she could feel her stomach pressing hard against the table she sat at, feeling the weight of her stomach press against the edge and making her realize just how large her belly had gotten. The pressure against the table was almost comforting to her.
She looked down at her belly, noticing how round and swollen the cake made it. She had always been a bit chubby before this, but this was something new. This was something... heavier.
She couldn't resist the urge to rub her stomach again, feeling the doughy softness that the cake had given her. It almost felt... cute. She had never thought about herself that way before, but she was starting to like it. She liked it a lot.
She gave her stomach a gentle pat, feeling the soft jiggle of the fat that had accumulated. She couldn't help but giggle, her face flushing red in embarrassment.

Each cake was different, and each one tasted better than the last, but Midnight couldn't seem to get enough. She had even started to notice that her appetite was becoming insatiable, to the point where she was constantly stuffing her cheeks with cake, her belly always begging her to stop but her hunger always pushing her to keep going.
And the weight of her crimes had only become more... obvious. Midnight Blossom had become significantly fatter than she had ever been before. Her belly had grown into a plump, doughy orb that sat comfortably on her lap whenever she sat down, and her thighs, which were previously chubby enough to rub together, had thickened into two hefty tree trunks that wobbled with every step she took. Despite gaining weight, she still had to use the same set of armor every day, which was starting to strain against her blimp-sized stomach and rear. She had even considered asking for a larger set of armor, but she didn't want to risk anyone finding out about her indulgences, or her... well, her love for cake. She couldn't explain it, but something about the cake repository made her feel so... satisfied. And she didn't want that feeling to end any time soon.
Her once cute, rounded butt was now a bubbly bubble-butt that wobbled behind her, so big that it made her walk in a penguin-like waddle that she was embarrassed to show off. "Princess" She bowed, but as she did, she heard a slight gurgle from her stuffed gut. Luna's eyes flicked down to it for a moment, and Midnight's cheeks flushed even redder. She tried to hide her embarrassment, but she knew Luna could see right through her, just as easily as she could see through all her other nights in the cake repository. But she didn't seem angry; instead, she looked intrigued.
"What are you doing here, Captain?" Luna asked, her tone surprisingly gentle, and Midnight couldn't help but notice that there was a spark of curiosity in her eyes that hadn't been there before. "I've seen you coming and going from this hallway for weeks."
Midnight stuttered, trying to think of a reasonable explanation, but she couldn't think of anything. She couldn't deny her addiction to the cakes, not when her stuffed belly was so obvious. And the way Luna looked at her, she couldn't help but wonder if she knew exactly what had been going on in the cake repository.
"I... um... I was just... exploring," Midnight lied, but she knew it was a weak excuse. She didn't expect Luna to buy it at all, and she didn't. And now, standing in front of a Princess who knew exactly what she'd been doing, she felt so... exposed. So embarrassed. And yet, there was a part of her that couldn't deny how good she felt.
"I'm sorry, Princess, I don't know what came over me. I just..." Midnight began, but she trailed off, unsure of how to justify her actions. She didn't know how to explain the addictive nature of cake, or why she couldn't stop eating it, even though she was already so stuffed. But Luna didn't seem angry or disappointed. On the contrary, there was an unmistakable twinkle in her eye, one that suggested she was enjoying eyeing Midnight.
"Don't apologize. I understand." Luna replied, stepping closer towards her. "I'm sure it must be difficult to resist all those cakes."
Midnight nodded, relieved that Luna seemed to understand. "It is. They're so delicious, and it's so tempting to keep eating them..." She said, trailing off as she realized how pathetic she sounded. "I can't help myself."
"It's okay, Midnight. I don't blame you. What I am curious about is how you found her repository in the first place. How did you stumble upon such a secret?" Luna asked, her voice still gentle and curious.
Midnight blushed, realizing how embarrassing it was to admit. As she thought of an answer, she realized she obviously couldn't snitch on Valiant. She'd have to come up with a lie.
"Well, I was on patrol one night, and I just happened to wander down this hallway and... well, the rest is history." she said, trying to make her voice sound as convincing as possible. Luna eyed her suspiciously, but seemed to buy it. After all, Midnight had no evidence that Valiant had anything to do with it. "I guess I was just lucky."
"Very lucky." Luna smirked, and Midnight noticed that she was still staring at her belly in amusement. Midnight couldn't help but blush, feeling another rush of heat rise in her cheeks. She was so exposed, and yet... there was something about the way Luna was looking at her that she couldn't ignore. She felt sexy, desired. And she couldn't help but feel a little bit excited. She had never been so fat before, and she was starting to realize how addicted she'd become. "I don't know, I mean... I haven't been counting. Just... when I need a snack, I go there, and..." She trailed off, unable to think of an excuse.
But Luna didn't seem to care. She stepped closer to Midnight, her eyes still locked on her belly. She reached out, running her hoof gently across it, sending a shiver down her spine. Luna smirked, enjoying the reaction. She pressed her hoof gently into Midnight's belly, feeling its doughy softness, and a moan escaped her lips. She was enjoying this far too much. She needs a dent in her cake collection, anyway." She chuckled, and Midnight felt another rush of heat in her cheeks. She couldn't believe what was happening, but she couldn't resist. Her belly rumbled in agreement, and she let out another moan. Luna smirked, enjoying every second of this. She added, giving her belly another gentle pat. It made a sound, a low gurgle, that made Midnight blush even harder. She was so full, and yet, there was a part of her that couldn't deny how much she craved more. Even if she had just returned from another session of stealing cakes, she couldn't help but think of going back. And now, with Luna encouraging her, it made it even more irresistible.
"I... I will." Midnight replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She couldn't believe what was happening, but she didn't want to stop. And she couldn't wait to return to the cake repository and indulge herself once more. She couldn't help but think of what Luna had said earlier, how delicious she looked. She didn't realize she could look so... appealing. And the thought of being so exposed made her shiver with excitement. She couldn't wait to see how big she could get. Midnight's stomach made an intense gurgling noise as she waddled the same way towards the cake repository, what was probably for the thirtieth time this same month. Each venture she made towards the room was slowly made harder and harder, no doubt because of her growing figure. At this point, she barely even stood at her post anymore, opting instead to stuff her face with as much cake as physically possible before returning to her home as her "shift" ended. And it showed; her body was now so fat that her belly was practically dragging on the ground as she walked, and her flank and hips were so wide that they made it difficult even to squeeze through some doorways. It had been several days since she had completely stopped using her armor, instead opting to forgo it entirely as she had no real use for it anyway. It's not like she needed it for her shift anymore.
Finally nearing the door, she began to feel the sides of her belly brush both sides of the frame as she struggled to push herself through. Her stomach made a loud, wet gurgling noise as it squished against the wooden walls, and she let out a grunt of frustration as she tried to push her way through with a loud creak. The past few nights of entering the room had ended up with this same problem although after a few minutes grunting, she eventually did make it through. Eventually.

She grunted again, trying with all her might to squeeze her way through the small space. She could feel the pressure of her stomach against the wood, and she knew that if she kept pushing, she'd likely end up stuck in the doorway. She probably was already. She grunted again, pushing her massive form through the narrow doorway with a determination that spoke of countless previous escapades. She didn't know how she could still fit everything inside herself, especially considering she had just recently stuffed herself beyond her limit at least five nights in a row, but she didn't want to waste any more seconds without filling her greedy belly up with the best food she had ever had. She already wanted more.

The chair let out another cry of protest, this time in response to Midnight finally getting off from it. Even the swiftness of getting up from the chair was a challenge for her, her bloated gut gurgling with the cake inside of it as she turned herself around to pick the chair up once more with her mouth. She waddled over towards the next cake she sought to conquer, a simple vanilla cake. This one, while not nearly as tall as the chocolate one she had just devoured, was definitely wider.
And she wanted it all.
The way she dug into the new cake was the most ravenous she had ever been. She dove mouth first into the wide pastry, covering her entire face in thick vanilla icing as she began chewing like a starved pig. The sounds she was making consisted of nothing more than wet chewing and thick, heavy gulps, each one probably sending more and more hundreds of calories down into her gut.
"Mmmmm, good, I neeed, mph, mooore..."
Midnight's words became almost slurred, already difficult to pronounce with a mouth full of cake. She didn't even acknowledge what she said, as she only wanted to say what her brain wanted her to. And her brain had already been lost, devoured by her appetite, now only a tool of her gluttony. After more minutes of devouring, she licked her lips and waddled onto the next cake, nowhere near satisfied yet.
Even with the entirety of two cakes deep in her bloated gut, she was still hungry. Even one enormous cake from this room was enough to knock a Midnight from a night prior into a deep coma. But the present Midnight was different, both physically, and mentally. At this point, she probably weighed as much as two Midnight's from the night prior, and three from two nights prior... and as long as her visits to the room would continue, so would her never-ending increase to her appetite.
She was like a vacuum, eventually sucking up every cake she could find, and within an hour, she had already devoured four cakes. Her stomach gurgled loudly as she continued to fill it, and she couldn't help but groan as she felt her belly finally felt... full. After what was most likely an hour of constant feasting, she could finally feel a tightness on her belly, now so engorged that it rounded out her entire torso. This was a familiar tightness that had visited her so soon after starting her prior feasts, but this one seemed to finally arrive, albeit much later in the night. Her tummy was no longer a soft, pliable fat but a spherical, harder one instead. But she couldn't stop herself. Even if this was the first time she felt at least somewhat full in the entire night, she still wanted to keep going, her waddle towards the next enticing cake already more difficult. As she did, she noticed just how harder it was to walk compared to an hour ago. Her groaning belly brushed against the cold floor, a sensation she never thought she would ever feel on her tummy.
She was addicted to the sensation of stuffing herself silly, and she wanted to keep going until she couldn't possibly fit another bite. But she didn't care. If anything, the feeling of continuing to eat, despite the groaning protests of her belly, made her feel good. She had already begun devouring what was her fifth cake of the night, and she had no signs of stopping soon.
She was so engrossed in her eating that she didn't even notice when someone entered the room, a pair of bright pink eyes staring at her from the doorway.
"My, my, what do we have here?"
The shock that spread across Midnight was something she had not experienced in a long time. A voice that came from the worst possible direction, behind her. It snapped Midnight out of her trance, her eyes widening in horror as she realized she had been caught. She knew that voice all too well, and it sent a shiver down her spine. Slowly, she turned her head towards the source, her belly sloshing as she did. It was none other than Princess Celestia herself, a mischievous smirk on her face, her eyes drifting towards Midnight's bulbous gut.
Midnight couldn't believe her ears. She was so startled she had dropped the chunk cake on her hoof she was eating, sending it splattering onto the floor in front of her. She was so stunned that she couldn't even think of what to say, her gaze fixed firmly on the Princess. She felt like she had been caught with her hoof in the cookie jar, but in this case, she had her hoof in what was practically a mountain for a cake. And Celestia didn't seem upset or disappointed; in fact, she looked amused. Her eyes drifted over Midnight's fat frame, taking in the sight of her, and a smile tugged at her lips.
"I knew you had a weakness for sweets, Captain Midnight, but I had no idea it was this bad. You've gotten so big, I barely recognize you." Celestia teased, taking a few steps closer towards her.
Midnight was frozen, unable to move or speak and her eyes locked on Celestia. She couldn't believe what was happening. She knew she should be panicking, trying to escape, but she couldn't seem to convince her legs to run. She was paralyzed with fear.
"You know, you've done a good job keeping this a secret; I had no idea you were sneaking in here every night until I saw you enter the other day. I was curious about the cake thief, but I never expected it to be you."
"I... I'm so sorry, your highness. I don't know what came over me, I just... couldn't help myself." Midnight stammered, her cheeks burning red with embarrassment. She couldn't believe she had gotten so carried away, and she felt ashamed of her gluttony. She couldn't even look Celestia in the eye. "I promise, I'll never-OOOOARP!"
Suddenly, a loud burp erupted from Midnight's throat, cutting her off in the middle of her sentence. Her eyes widened, her cheeks burning even redder as she realized she had just belched in front of a princess. She couldn't believe how impolite she had been. "Oh, um..."
But Celestia seemed unfazed. She raised an eyebrow and smiled at Midnight, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm so sorry, dear. Were you saying something? It's hard to understand you with all that cake in your mouth." She chuckled, gesturing towards Midnight's stuffed belly. Midnight blushed even redder, realizing that she still had a huge piece of cake clutched in her other hoof. "It looks like you've really been indulging. How do you fit so much inside yourself?"
Midnight hesitated, unsure of how to answer. She had never been called out like this before, and she felt like her deepest secret was about to come to light. She took a step back, trying to regain her composure, but she stumbled backwards as her swollen gut wobbled in front of her. She couldn't even walk straight, and she didn't think she'd be able to make it out of the room even if she wanted to. Her cheeks burned even brighter, and she couldn't meet Celestia's gaze. She was so embarrassed.
"I... I don't know... I just... couldn't resist." She said, her voice barely above a whisper. She didn't even sound convinced, and she could tell that Celestia wasn't either. She was lying through her teeth, and Celestia could see right through it. 'Just a sweet tooth' didn't cut it. But Celestia didn't seem mad. Instead, she looked... intrigued.
She stepped closer to Midnight, her eyes locked on her belly. "You know, you have a much bigger appetite than I thought. And you've gotten so big, I can barely recognize you. But it's a good look for you." She smirked, gesturing to her massive belly, this time making a deep gurgling sound. Midnight blushed even redder, feeling the heat rising in her cheeks.
She didn't know how to respond, and she couldn't deny that something about Celestia's tone sounded... seductive. She didn't know why Celestia seemed to be so fascinated with her gluttony, but she didn't want to question it. After all, she couldn't help but notice that Celestia's eyes lingered on her every curve, and her cheeks flushed with a hint of desire. She didn't know how to react, but the embarrassment from being caught was beginning to finally give way to sanity, previously lost in her gluttony.
"I should... return to my post." Midnight tried to shift her bloated body towards the exit, but she was met with Celestia blocking her path. "Princess, please, I need to go back to my guard duties..." She pleaded, trying to squeeze her way past her. But Celestia shook her head, smiling mischievously. "I don't think you're going anywhere, Captain Midnight." She said, her eyes flashing with mischief. "I want discipline in my kingdom, and you... well, you have a lot of discipline to learn, seeing as how you're leaving an unfinished cake."
Midnight glanced back towards the half-eaten cake that still lay scattered across the table, and her blush returned. She was so engrossed in her stuffing that she didn't even realize how much damage she had done to the pastry, and Celestia knew it well. She was playing her like a fiddle, and Midnight didn't know how to resist.
Before Midnight could even respond, Celestia leaned forward and pressed her hoof gently against her bloated belly, eliciting a low gurgle that echoed through the room. She smirked, her eyes glinting with excitement. "Don't you want to stay here and finish the cake?" Midnight hesitated, unsure of how to answer. She was still embarrassed and ashamed of herself, and a part of her wanted to run out of there and never return. But another part of her wanted to stay, to feel Celestia's hooves caressing her belly, to indulge herself to her heart's content. She was so torn.
"Come, sit back down and continue eating." Celestia insisted, now patting Midnight's rump gently and pushing her back towards the chair. "You don't have to stop on my account." She added, her tone teasing. Midnight didn't want to argue; she could feel her stomach growling in protest of being interrupted, and she couldn't deny that she wanted to keep eating. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had such an amazing meal, and she didn't want it to end.
So, she sat back down in the chair, her belly wedged between her legs as she leaned forward to resume her stuffing, her cheeks still flushing with embarrassment as she did. She didn't expect Celestia to join her, but she couldn't help but notice that her eyes lingered on her as she began to dig in. She couldn't deny that the princess's interest in her was... exciting, in a way. She had never been looked at like that before, and she couldn't help but feel... desirable.

She couldn't believe what she had just done, and she couldn't stop thinking about the way Celestia was staring at her, her eyes locked on her engorged form. The entire cake, one towering confection of decadent delight, was now deep inside her overstuffed belly, and she couldn't resist reaching her hooves down to feel the doughy softness that had resulted. Her stuffed belly reminded her that this was definitely not the only cake she had eaten tonight, and that she had gorged herself on at least several others.
She was so fat. And Celestia loved it.
"You've done well, Captain." She whispered, stroking Midnight's belly once more. The pristine sollerets Celestia always wore were stained with crumbs and smears of the chocolate icing on Midnight.

Midnight didn't know how to respond, but she felt a wave of satisfaction wash over her as she leaned back in the chair and let out a moan. She had never stuffed herself this full before, and she had never experienced anything like this with anypony before. She was so embarrassed, yet so aroused, she didn't know how to react. She was just glad she had finished the cake, and the princess was proud of her too.
Celestia smirked, continuing to run her hooves gently across Midnight's distended stomach, the armor on them sending shivers down her spine.
"Princess? Can I... return to my post now?" She asked timidly, unsure of how to ask for permission. She wanted to stay, to indulge herself to her heart's content, but she didn't want to overstay her welcome with Celestia's hospitality. But Celestia shook her head, chuckling as she continued to caress her swollen belly.
"No, I don't think so. I don't want you to go anywhere."
"What? But I have to..."
"No, Captain. You don't have to." Celestia purred, now running her hoof along her flank, causing Midnight to gasp in surprise. Even if most of her weight had gone straight to her belly, she still had plenty of meat to spare on other parts of her body. She had been so engrossed in her stuffing earlier that she had forgotten how exposed she felt, and she blushed furiously as she felt Celestia's hoof graze her flank. It was soft, and round, and it jiggled as Celestia stroked it. Midnight couldn't help but let out another moan of pleasure, although this was more stifled in her embarrassment.
"Finishing not just one cake, but two, and who knows how many others before that? That's impressive, Captain."
She couldn't believe what was happening, but she felt a rush of excitement course through her as she realized that she wasn't in trouble. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Celestia seemed to enjoy seeing how much cake Midnight could pack away. "Go on, Midnight. You know you want it. Show me what you're really capable of." Celestia teased, waving the plate of sponge cake in front of Midnight's face. Midnight was stunned. She couldn't believe Celestia was encouraging this behavior, and yet, she couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement race through her veins as she stared at the cake in front of her. She knew she shouldn't, not with how stuffed she already was, but she couldn't resist. The hunger was too strong. With one last look at Celestia's approving smirk, she picked up the sponge cake and began devouring it, using her chubby hindlegs to bring the dessert to her greedy mouth.
This sponge cake was delicious, but she couldn't help but notice that it seemed to disappear even quicker than she thought. Before long, it was gone, and she was left licking her chubby lips in its absence. She had eaten the entire sponge cake, and she had barely noticed. It was like her body was craving more, and she was happy to oblige.
Midnight heard Celestia chuckle with approval, and she blushed as she looked up to see that the princess had moved closer to her, now rubbing her seated flank with a feather-light touch that sent tingles through her entire body. "How was it? Was it good?" Celestia whispered, her lips hovering over Midnight's ear. She didn't wait for an answer before she reached over and grabbed another cake from the shelf, this one a moist chocolate ganache that she placed in front of Midnight's mouth. Midnight didn't hesitate to chomp right into the treat, and soon, she was lost once again in a frenzy of chewing.
She devoured the chocolate ganache almost as quickly as she had the last pastry, and soon, it too was gone. Midnight could barely believe what she had just done, but she couldn't resist, not with the way Celestia looked at her, or the way her tummy gurgled for more. She was like a wild animal, desperate for nourishment. And she would continue to stuff herself as long as Celestia encouraged it.
Celestia smiled as she walked back towards the shelves, this time levitating forth two cakes; a strawberry cheesecake, and a fluffy lemon one.
"These are so delicious, Captain. But something tells me you know that already." She teased, nudging the edge of her belly and bringing the cakes towards her. Midnight didn't hesitate and reached out eagerly, grabbing both cakes and bringing them to her mouth. She didn't think she could eat both cakes at once, but she was already digging into them with ravenous fervor, stuffing herself so quickly that she barely registered how stuffed she already was. She was insatiable.

She had never felt so full, and she didn't know if she would ever be able to stuff herself like this again.
She couldn't help but wonder how much she weighed now. She felt lighter than before, but only because of the sheer volume of cake she had packed into her stomach. She was like a living cake storage facility, and she relished in the thought.
"Quite the big eater." Celestia murmured, patting her belly affectionately. Midnight smiled, enjoying the feeling of the princess's hoof against her sensitive flesh. She didn't know why Celestia enjoyed watching her binge, but she knew that she didn't want this to end. She wanted to continue gorging herself until she couldn't possibly eat anymore. She was addicted, and she didn't care. And if the princess wanted to help her get there, then so be it.
"But you're far from done, aren't you, Captain?" Celestia continued, a smile tugging at her lips. Midnight couldn't deny it. She was insatiable, and Celestia seemed determined to indulge her gluttony to its fullest. She didn't even bother to respond; instead, she opened her greedy mouth and prepared for the next cake that Celestia would present her with. And the next.

And if she did, she probably would have known not to tempt Midnight Blossom with a giant chocolate cake, already drizzled with thick whipped cream, and coated with a thick layer of chocolate ganache. The table this was on was pushed up right to Midnight's belly, and she was ready for the feast of her life. Midnight couldn't help but lick her lips, and as she glanced at Celestia with a smile, she felt her mouth water in anticipation of her next feast. Even if countless cakes were already stored deep within her belly, she had enough room for many more, unbeknownst to the Princess of Equestria. Midnight Blossom was a force to be reckoned with, and Celestia had no idea that she had just unleashed her greatest appetite.
But Midnight had been waiting for an opportunity like this all her life. She didn't think she'd ever have the chance to gorge herself so completely, and now that she had it, she couldn't help but lose control. It was her destiny. Forget being a captain, she was meant to be a cake addict, a bloated glutton, and she couldn't deny that it made her happier than she had ever been. It was her calling. It was her purpose. At least, that's what she thought. But these thoughts lasted only for a few short moments before she dug into the gigantic chocolate cake before her, her belly groaning with every bite she took. She was addicted to the flavor, to the sensation of stuffing herself senseless, and nothing would ever stand in her way. Not even the Princess of Equestria. So, as Celestia stared intently on the thought that she would overstuff her own captain, Midnight continued to indulge in her cake-fueled reverie, unaware of the consequences that lay ahead.
Mmmmmph, mmhhmmmmm...
With her cheeks bulging with cake, her belly gurgling, and her eyes half-closed with gluttony, Midnight was on a one-way trip to her inner demon; her insatiable hunger that could never be satisfied. And as Celestia continued to encourage her binge, she was helping create a monster. A monstrous blob of a bat pony, destined to gorge herself on an endless supply of sweets until there was nothing left. At least, that's what Midnight wanted. And as she continued to shovel one chunk of chocolate cake after cake into her already stuffed belly, she felt a sense of greed overcome her. A greed that would only grow in her indulgence, and a greed that would soon overtake her. This is who she was, the Empress of Cake. And she would never stop eating. Not for as long as she lived.
The way Midnight shoveled chunk after chunk of chocolate cake into her mouth, the way she chewed and swallowed without even pausing for breath, the way her cheeks bulged with the rich sweetness of the dessert, Celestia couldn't help but stare in awe at this incredible feat of gluttony. She had never seen a pony stuff themselves so much, and she was amazed at how much cake Midnight could consume.
The way she ate wasn't reminiscent of a pony, but rather of an animal, a beast who was ravenous with hunger and wouldn't stop until they were sated. The sounds coming from her muzzle as she continued to eat were almost terrifying, but Celestia couldn't look away. She was mesmerized by the sight of Midnight Blossom stuffing herself beyond her limits. She couldn't believe how big Midnight was getting, and she didn't know how she could still manage to keep eating, even though she was clearly already stuffed. She had already stuffed herself with so many cakes at this point, you would think her hunger would be finally satisfied. But Midnight's appetite was insatiable, and Celestia didn't know how to handle it. She didn't know how much Midnight could actually hold. Was her stomach genuinely this bottomless? She wasn't even sure how much Midnight had already eaten, and she was scared to find out what the outcome might be.
Midnight didn't seem to care about her size or the state of her body. She seemed like a different creature entirely, like she was possessed by some sort of gluttonous spirit that would not stop until she was bloated... and sated. Her chewing and swallowing were in such a rhythmic motion, her gulps slowly grew deeper and deeper, her throat already one fattened product of her entire body. She was chewing chunk after slice so rapidly, Celestia could almost notice her nearly choking at times, but still continuing to eat as if nothing had happened. She didn't seem to be bothered by the constant gurgling and rumbling sounds emanating from her belly as she continued to stuff herself, nor did she seem concerned about the way her coat was starting to stretch over her bloated form, or the way the mass of her widening flank was barely able to squeeze in the chair anymore.
She was in her own world, and she didn't seem to care about anything but eating. She didn't seem to care about how big she was getting, or how much damage she was doing to her body. She was a gluttonous beast, and she wasn't going to stop until she was ready. And Celestia couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement course through her at the sight.
SNAP!
Suddenly, the chair that Midnight had been sitting on finally splintered into pieces, sending her plummeting onto the floor with a loud thud. Midnight groaned as she landed on her massive belly, her body still jiggling and rippling with the impact, and her stomach churning with the sudden movement. But even this couldn't stop her. Instead, Midnight simply adjusted her position and continued to stuff her face with cake, the broken chair and her bruised flank not slowing her down in the slightest. She seemed to have a bottomless pit of an appetite, and she wasn't going to stop feeding it until she had completely devoured all of the cake in front of her.
This was Celestia's nightmare come to life. She had never imagined that Midnight could be this insane, this far gone, and she didn't know what to do with her. Before her very eyes, Midnight was actually consuming a cake meant for multiple ponies, no, not even that, an entire wedding. It was absurd, it was insane, and yet, she couldn't tear her eyes away. She was fascinated by this display of pure gluttony, and she wanted to see how far Midnight could push herself, how far she could go before she reached her breaking point.
Her body seemed to fatten in real time as she continued to stuff herself, and Celestia couldn't help but gasp in surprise as she watched her balloon into an unbelievable size. Her belly, once so round and swollen, had grown even larger, and her rear flank was beginning to spread out into two enormous spheres of flesh. She was so heavy that she could barely lift her hind legs anymore, and she seemed to be sinking further into her bloated body with every bite of cake. Her face was flushed with lust and pleasure as she continued to gorge herself, and her eyes were glazed over with a look of pure ecstasy. Even the pants she took inbetween bites grew shorter and shorter, but whether that was an indication of her shrinking lungs, or her increasing greed, she did not know. Midnight had entered a state of absolute gluttony, and it seemed like nothing could stop her now.
By the time Midnight finally finished the chocolate cake, her entire body was so massive that she could barely move anymore. Her belly had expanded so much that she couldn't even see her hind legs anymore, and she could feel the coat on her belly stretching and tearing against the strain of her massive weight. Even the cutie mark on her thigh had expanded to such a size, it had become larger than Celestia herself. Midnight was breathing heavily, and she could feel her heart beating wildly against her chest.
OAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARP!
"Sho... good... more..."
Celestia still stood before her, anger flashing in her eyes as she saw how much destruction Midnight had caused to her precious cakes.
"How?" She demanded, her voice uncharacteristically rising with fury. "You've eaten the largest cake in the whole room, and you're still hungry!?" But Midnight was still in her own world, and she barely heard the princess's outburst. She simply turned the head mounted on her rolls to back look at her with a dreamy smile, her eyes half-lidded with bliss as she reached out to grab the next cake.
This was her heaven, and nothing could ruin it. Not Celestia's fury, not her own rapidly expanding body, not even the fact that she had devoured an entire wedding cake and was still looking for more. Nothing could stop her now, and she didn't want it to. She wanted to continue gorging herself to the fullest, stuffing herself until there was nothing left. She was an unstoppable force, a machine of pure gluttony, and nothing could stand in her way.
"Still hungry? Keep stuffing yourself!" Celestia growled, thrusting a tray of chocolate cupcakes towards Midnight. "You like chocolate so much? Go on, eat it all!" Midnight didn't even pause to question Celestia's motives. She didn't even care to pay attention to this very rare side of her, one that very few had seen. Instead, she only picked up the entire tray of cupcakes and began stuffing them into her greedy muzzle, barely able to fit each one in.
Celestia watched with a mixture of horror and amazement as Midnight continued to pack the cupcakes into her mouth, her belly continuing to swell and expand as she did so. It was like watching a scene from a cartoon, where the main character just kept stuffing themselves with more and more food until they burst. Except in this case, Midnight actually continued to grow larger and larger with every bite she took. It was incredible, and Celestia couldn't believe how far Midnight was willing to go. She had already consumed more than any normal pony could possibly handle, and she still wasn't finished. She was like a wild animal, consumed with a fierce hunger that couldn't be sated. She was insatiable, and she wasn't going to stop until she had stuffed herself beyond her limits.
"Keep eating, you pig! Keep eating! That's what you want, isn't it?!" Celestia cried, her voice rising with desperation as she started to levitate several more cakes towards Midnight's muzzle. She didn't know what else to do with her; she was already too far gone.
"You want to be the fattest pony in all of Equestria? Well, here you go! You can be as fat as you want, as long as you keep eating!" Midnight continued to seemingly ignore her. She was completely absorbed in her own world of cake and gluttony, and she wasn't about to stop anytime soon.
Her body, to think that it was once mobile, was now fattening into a huge, soft blob of grey. Her body swelled and swelled, growing so large and fat that it was practically bursting at the seams. She was like a living balloon, a jiggling, writhing mass of doughy flesh that covered every inch of her body. She couldn't move anymore, and she didn't want to. She didn't care about anything but eating, and as Celestia continued to bring her more and more cake, she couldn't help but feel a rush of exhilaration race through her veins. She was an unstoppable force of gluttony, and she could feel her stomach roaring with hunger for more. More, more, more!
More cakes flowed into Midnight's mouth, faster and faster, as Celestia desperately tried to keep her occupied and distracted from what was really going on. Midnight's belly continued to swell and distend, and she could feel her body straining to contain the thousands of calories she was devouring. She was like a walking furnace, her entire body burning with the energy she was consuming, and she couldn't stop. She was a force of nature, and she would continue to eat until she physically couldn't fit another bite into her already stuffed stomach. She didn't care how big she got, or how much pain she was in, she just wanted more. She was insatiable. She was a ravenous beast, a machine of pure gluttony that could not be stopped. And she didn't want it to. She was lost in a trance of feasting, a state of perpetual binging that she couldn't break out of.
"More! Isn't that what you want? MORE?! HERE IT IS!" Celestia screamed, intensifying her magic to levitate two huge sheet cakes into Midnight's waiting mouth. Midnight didn't hesitate to bite into them, her cheeks bulging with the sheer amount of cake she was eating, but she didn't care. She didn't want to stop, she just wanted to eat. And she would keep eating, as long as Celestia brought her cake. And she would continue to fatten as well.
The way her cheeks filled with the delicious treats, the way she eagerly sucked down each slice with barely a moment's hesitation, it was like she was lost in a world of sugar and cake. Against all possible odds, her belly continued to inflate, and her flank continued to widen, and she didn't seem to care. She was too busy stuffing her greedy mouth with more and more cake to pay attention to anything else. She was in her own world, a world of endless binging, and she wasn't going to let anyone stand in her way.
The endless amount of pastries that Celestia was levitating towards Midnight's mouth didn't seem to slow her down in the slightest, and she continued to devour them with the same intensity and fervor that she had before. The cakes were disappearing into her mouth so fast that she barely had time to swallow them, and her cheeks were bulging with the sheer volume of cake she was consuming. It was incredible, it was unbelievable, it was terrifying. And despite the anger, Celestia couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement race through her at the sight. The way she was growing, the way she seemed so happy and content, it was intoxicating, and she couldn't resist the temptation of seeing how much cake Midnight could really eat. She knew that it was wrong, that Midnight was going way too far, but she couldn't help it.
Vanilla cakes, red velvet, strawberry – all of them vanished within seconds, and Midnight appeared utterly indifferent to the amount she had devoured. The sporadic breaths she managed between the rapid, hundred-bites-a-minute pace transformed into wheezes as her form fattened with each passing moment. Insatiable and resolute, she was on a mission to gorge herself until every inch couldn't possibly take another bite.
The sounds emanating from her mouth, the wet, slurping noises accompanying each gulp of cake, bordered on maddening. Yet, undeterred, Celestia persisted, this time using all her strength to levitate a huge carrot cake right on top of Midnight as she could only ogle at it as it slowly drifted to her.
SPLAT!
It landed on top of her with such impact that it immediately melted into a burst of small sea of cake, sending chunks of cake sponge and sticky fondant flying in all directions as Midnight was drenched. Midnight didn't even care about how her new food was delivered as she had already dug her face into the mess, burying herself in the sweet goodness. It was so overwhelming, so decadent, so intoxicating. She couldn't resist, and she didn't want to.
Even if the bat pony was in a state of gluttony she had never reached before, Celestia grew worried. Midnight was now munching away at this new cake laying on top of her blob of a body, no care in the world for how big or how wide it was, only that it was slowly getting smaller... and smaller.
In desperation, Celestia looked around the room, her eyes lingering on the empty spaces on shelves and tables where once there had once been thousands of cakes. They were almost gone, and Midnight had devoured them all. The bat, meanwhile, was completely oblivious to her worry. She was covered in a sea of cake at this point, where she tried to shovel all chunks she saw into her mouth with both hooves.
Slowly but surely, Celestia was running out of cake.
This cake storage room was designed to house the biggest weddings in Equestria, and Midnight had easily consumed enough cake for several hundred ponies. But as she continued to expand, it was becoming clear that she would soon surpass even that. She was too far gone, too engrossed in her own world of cake and gluttony, and nothing would stop her. The more cake she consumed, the fatter she got, and the more her belly gurgled with the effort of digestion, the happier she seemed to be. More and more shelves and tables were emptied of their delicious pastries, and Midnight's belly continued to distend and jiggle with the weight of the endless feast.
And she kept growing.
Cake after cake, Midnight's body swelled and rippled, rendering the original spot where she had shattered the chair completely obscured. A blob of a bat pony now occupied that space, a formless, jiggling blob. Her belly expanded and stretched, enveloping her, while her fat legs protruded at odd angles as she grappled to find a comfortable sitting position. Gradually claiming more space, her massive belly resembled a sea of dough, undulating and quivering with every movement.
The anger in Celestia's feeding soon faded into worry as she finally began to slowly run out of cake. This storage was supposed to keep the princess' sweet tooth satisfied for at least years, and Midnight had devoured almost everything in just one sitting. This was impossible, it couldn't be true, and yet, as Midnight continued to stuff herself to the brink of bursting, it became clear that she would soon have nothing left to feed her. She couldn't deny that Midnight was a true machine of gluttony, a force of nature that could not be contained. But as she watched her engorge herself on the last remaining tray of mini cupcakes, her belly now so bloated and swollen that it was nearing the door itself, Celestia couldn't help but feel a wave of panic rush through her. She was running out of cake, and Midnight was nowhere near done.
As Midnight continued to eat, her belly began to groan and rumble, the sound so loud and so low that it could most likely be heard throughout the entire nearby halls. Her flanks had swelled and split into four rolls of flesh that now touched the walls, and her hindlegs were tucked away in her own sea of fat, barely able to move or get comfortable. She was a blob of a pony, a mammoth of dough that continued to consume more and more cake, as her belly grew and stretched to accommodate it all.
As the last shelf of cakes vanished into her waiting muzzle, stained thoroughly with frosting and cake batter, Midnight barely paused before redirecting her attention to Celestia. Her eyes glittered with hunger as she licked her lips, remnants of the final traces of her feast. With closed eyes and a chubby muzzle, she appeared momentarily expectant, as if anticipating more cakes to flow into her greedy maw.
"Prinnshesh..."
Upon opening her eyes, the momentary joy of her indulgence evaporated as she realized there was nothing else to eat. Celestia stood before her, wearing a look of concern and pity, while Midnight stared at the empty shelves. Midnight could barely look ahead, her cheeks now so fat to the point of them slightly obscuring her vision and causing her words to slow, but she didn't care.
Despite her state of bliss, a slight smile lingered on her fat face.
"Ish that... URRRRRRRRRP - it? I'm shtill... hungry..."
