Chapter 1: a new world and new friends
It was a lovely day in railworld, Kay the fastest train in railworld was on his way to mountain land to deliver a camp fire for the railers.
"I better hurry to deliver this before dark" said Kay to himself.
At last he made it to mountain land to deliver the camp fire. Vito and Mikhail was there waiting for him
"Thank you for delivering the fire wood kay, without them the railers will be cold" said Vito.
"No problem, I better get going, genie and the others are waiting for me" said Kay.
"No biggie, get back soon" said Mikhail.
Soon Kay rolled away back to the watchtower. When was half way there, a portal appeared in front of him.
"Wh... what's that?" Kay asked surprised.
Kay tried to stop but it was pulled him in. He kept putting on his brakes but it was too late, he was pulled into the portal. Kay opened his eyes to see that he was inside the portal.
"Where is it taking me?" Kay cried and he passed out outside of the portal.

Kay opened his eyes to see that he was in a valley, but their are no railroad tracks or any trains. Then he saw his cargo.
"Alto k, thank goodness, I thought I lost you" said Kay to his cargo. Then looked around, he never seen this world before.
"Where am I? I've never seen this place before, I better check on genie" said Kay.
But then their was trouble, he doesn't have his badge on him.
"Oh no! I've lost my badge, without it, I can't contact genie or anyone" said Kay panicking.
Then he transformed into his train form and rolled away.
"I must find something to help me find my way back" he thought as he move along the ground.

As Kay moving down the ground, he noticed a creature walking cheerfully on the pathway. Then the creature noticed Kay.
"Hi new friend, my name is Izzy" said the creature cheerfully.
Hi um... Izzy, I'm Kay and what are you?" Said Kay introduce himself.
"I'm a pony, a unicorn to be more specific" said Izzy and she look all over Kay.
"What are you? Are you some sort of robot?" She asked ceriously.
"You can say that but I'm a robot train. I can transform into a robot and a train" Kay explained.
"Wow I've never seen a robot train before" Izzy said exactly and she thought for a moment. "Do you want to come with me?" She asked.
"To where?" Kay asked
"To maretime bay" Izzy replied.
"Sure thing Izzy" Kay answered.
Soon Kay transform into his train form and followed Izzy to maretime bay. Suddenly, for the first time, he started to sing and Izzy sing along with him.

As Kay and Izzy are walking the path, they noticed a sign and read "welcome to maretime bay".
"This must be the place" said Kay.
"Yep, let's go" said Izzy.
As they walked through the entrance, they noticed a earth pony.
"Hi there" said Kay.
But I'm sorry to say, the earth pony ran for his life.
"I wonder what up with that?" Said Kay.
"Come on Kay, let's meet them" said Izzy.
As they walked they noticed a orange earth pony who gasped.
"Hi new friend! My name's Izzy" said Izzy introduced herself.
"U...u... unicorn!" The orange mare cried with excitement.
And as for the other earth ponies, they run for their lifes. They hide in stores and even one hide in the sewers.
"Ooh! Is everypony playing hide and seek?" Izzy asked and noticed a pony hiding behind the smoothie stand. "I see you!".
"Argh! It's a unicorn!" The earth pony cried and jumped into the ocean.
The orange mare looked up and down at Kay. She never seen him before.
"What are you? Some sort of robot?" She asked.
"You can say that, I'm actually a robot train. My name is Kay, what's your name?" Kay explained.
But before the mare could answer they heard a yell.
"Unicorn attack!" Shouted a voice.
Kay looked back to see a yellow stallion and a red stallion. As he looks at their vest Kay gasped, they are officers of the law! The yellow stallion sounded the alarm.
"This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill!" She shouted while he dash to action while the red stallion went in the other way.
Ahead, the station spotted a young foal, sitting on the ground, trying to make sense of all the madness, "A vulnerable young pony," With a display of great athleticism, the stallion pounced on the foal, "Got ya!" He said, rolling himself up and gave the foal to a random mare. "Your son is safe now, ma'm."
Then he galloped away, "This isn't my kid!" The mare called after him.
"You're welcome!" The stallion shouted back, as he continued to bark orders. "Man the Splat-a-pult! Activate the unicorn trap! Pick up that litter!" He said, pointing to a scrap, which a pony quickly complied.
The meantime both Kay and the orange mare saw the traps.
"Wow. Is that the sea? I've never seen the sea" said Izzy admiring the sea but she didn't know that she's heading to the unicorn trap. Kay transformed to his robot form and pushed Izzy just in time before it was went off.
"I've got to get you too out of here" said the mare.
"Right behind you" Kay called out as he transformed back into a train and went after them.
"Earth ponies are serious about games," Izzy commented.
"They're not playing, they're terrified!" The orange mare confirmed.
"Oh no!" Izzy frowned. "Of what?"
"You! You're a unicorn," the mare explained. "Earth ponies hate unicorns."
"Really? That seems harsh." Said Izzy unamazed
"Tell me about it" Kay agreed.
As the three friends stop at a corner, the saw three earth pony operating the splat-a-pults.
"Let's go!" Said the mare.
"I got your back, alto! Lunch my units!" Said Kay to his cargo.
Soon he got his units on and protect his new friends from the slime as Izzy and the orange mare followed him and they jumped over the traps. As they made it home free, Izzy noticed the movie theater and the movie "judgement heigh" and didn't realize that she heading to a unicorn trap.
"Oh! I haven't seen this yet." Said Izzy.
Kay hurried over to Izzy but it was too late, she was trapped in the unicorn trap and the alarm went off. Both Kay and the orange mare came up to the trap while the yellow stallion came from the other side of town.
"Alright, citizens, calm down. The threat has been neutralized. The unicorn has been captured. You may now cheer." He declared.
As the earth ponies cheered, the stallion noticed Kay.
"What are you? Are you some sort of robot?" Asked the stallion.
"Yes I am, and my name is Kay" said Kay then he turned to the orange mare and winked. The orange mare realized that he's distracted him.
"And what will you might be?" Kay continued.
"I'm hitch, the sheriff of maretime bay" said the stallion.
"Well I'm a protector too, I'm known as the railwatch" said Kay.
"Okay then but where did you come from?" Hitch asked.
But before Kay can replied, hitch saw the orange mare pushed the red button and freed Izzy.
"Sunny!" Hitch cried.
"So, your name's sunny?" Izzy asked.
Seeing the unicorns are free, once again, the earth ponies all screamed and ran in random directions. Some of them even accidentally trapped themselves in Canterlogic's unicorn entrapment cages. Using the chaos to their advantage, Sunny guided Izzy and kay the way to escape.
"Bye!" Izzy called out to the earth ponies. "It was nice to meet you all!"
"Just keep going izzy!" Said Kay as he transformed back into his train mode and followed sunny and Izzy .
"Deputy, to the lighthouse!" Sheriff Hitch pointed.
"Uh..." In response, his deputy had purposely trapped himself in one of the entrapment box, "Oh, no, I appear to be trapped."
Hitch let out an exasperated sigh, "You gotta be kidding me."

Chapter 2: the journey begins
Kay followed sunny and Izzy to a lighthouse, sunny hurried to shut the door and close the blinds. Kay look around and saw a picture of a very young sunny and a blue earth pony.
"Is that her dad? If so, where is he?" Kay thought. "Is he left or..." His thoughts was interrupted by Izzy.
"Do Earth ponies also like staring contests?" She asked, before she started to stare really hard at Sunny Starscout, up to the point where they were almost touching noses, but after a while, she ended up losing the contest. "Ah! You win! I blinked!"
As Izzy walked off the explore the room, Sunny still couldn't believe the fact that she was within the presence of a real life unicorn. "There's... a unicorn... And a robot train in my house... This is so cool!" She squealed in a fangirl voice, but suddenly, her smile quickly faded away as she processed the situation she had gotten herself into. "Wait, no, it's bad. Very, very bad. What have I done?" She asked herself in a panic.
"Well, you help me and Izzy escape from the law." Said kay
"Wow! I've never seen an Earth pony before." Izzy said as she stared into a telescope nearby. "We look exactly the same! Except for this, of course." She then gestured to her unicorn horn.
"Whoa! Hey! Be careful where you point that thing." Sunny said cautiously after Izzy got a bit too close to her.
"Why?" She asked.
"You probably stab somepony in the eye" said kay.
"Well, I, uh... um... sorta don't want to get zapped with a wayward laser beam." Sunny stuttered. "But of course you know that already. [chuckles] You've probably been reading my mind this whole time." Suddenly, she noticed something rather odd about Izzy's horn. " Isn't it supposed to glow, by the way? Or does that only happen when you levitate stuff?"
"Well, actually..." Izzy laughed nervously, shifting her eyes around the room, but before she could explain, she was interrupted by Sunny.
"Wait! Don't answer that yet. Let me get my notebook!" Sunny then ran over to the counter in the kitchen, pulling out her notebook from one of the drawers. "Okay, wow. Okay." She exhaled as she opened the notebook. "A hundred forty-two questions for a unicorn". Question number one - where do you live?"
"Bridlewood." Izzy replied.
"I knew it!" Sunny exclaimed, before continuing to ask her questions in a rather fast pace. "Do unicorns really live in trees? Do they eat pizza? If so, what toppings do they like? If not, why not? Can you actually fry pony brains with a single horn zap?" She then stopped asking questions and gasped as she noticed a can of beans nearby, knocking it over to Izzy. "Can you make this float?"
Izzy looked at the can of beans for a brief moment, before looking back up at Sunny with a sad look on her face. "No... but I can do this." She then proceeded to fling the can right onto her horn, bouncing it in the air like a basketball. Eventually, she bounced it one more time, causing it to hit the ground as beans splattered all over the floor. "Ta-daaaaa!"
"Wait. You don't have any magic?" Sunny asked in a sudden sad tone.
"Since you don't have magic, then I can't get back to my world" said kay sadly.
But they were interrupted by a hitch speaking in his microphone.
"Sunny Starscout!" Hitch called out in an amplified voice. "Argh, that hurt." He cleared his throat and continued, as his deputy was standing behind him wearing one of those mind reading hats. "Sunny Starscout, I know you're in there with that unicorn and that robot train! Come out with your hooves up and surrender!"
"Yeah, you're completely surrounded!" His deputy exclaimed, trying to sound intimidating, when in actuality, there was nobody else there besides him and Hitch.
"Will you let me do my job?" Hitch whispered angrily, before turning back over. "You are under arrest!"
"This is bad." Sunny said nervously. "How sneaky are you guys?
"Uh, medium sneaky?" Izzy replied.
"I'm the fastest train of railroad I can do anything." Kay added in.
"I can work with that." Sunny said in a more calm voice. "Okay, I'll distract them."
"Oh, pffft. Relax. I'll talk to them." Izzy scoffed as she made his way out the door.
"Wha—? N-No, no!" Sunny cried out, trying to stop the unicorn from making the situation worse for them, but despite Sunny's begging, Izzy went outside to try to talk some sense into Hitch and his deputy.
"Hi, guys!" Izzy greeted casually. "Now, I know what you're thinking."
"Aah! She's already reading our minds!" His deputy screamed, before running in the opposite direction as fast as he could. "Quick, before she fries our brains!"
"W-What are you doing? Where are you going?" Hitch asked, turning his head around, but unbeknownst to him, Sunny, Izzy and Kay quickly made their escape.
"To get reinforcements!" His deputy exclaimed.
"We have reinforcements?" Hitch asked himself, before noticing that the three friends had just left. "Oh, come on!"
The whole world became a blur once more as Sunny, Izzy and kay were back to running through the vast meadows of Maretime Bay. As we continued running, Sunny turned to Izzy, who was running next to her.
"You don't have any magic?" She panted out.
"Nope." Izzy replied.
Coming to a sudden halt, Sunny and kay both gasped in surprise upon hearing what Izzy had just told them, Sunny then sat down on the dirt path. "No magic?" She said, clearly confused, as was Kay is.
"Wait a minute, if you don't have magic, then how am I supposed to get back home to my world?" Kay asked, now feeling worried again about not being able to return back to his world. Kay thought that Izzy could just cast a portal spell, sending Kay back, but now, that didn't seem to be a possibility.
"Oh, but if it makes you two feel any better, we did have it, but that was many, many, many moons ago. It just – poof – disappeared. Everypony thinks the pesky Pegasi had something to do with it, but.."
Izzy's explanation fell when she noticed Sunny's expression. "O-Oh. Hey, you look kinda woozy. Are you okay?"
Sunny stood up as she paced around worriedly. "Huh. I am on the run with a unicorn who has no magic. What are we gonna do?"
"And how am I going to get back to my world?" Kay added, throwing in a question of my own.
What Izzy did next was really strange, she went up to Sunny and proceeded to smell her, much to her confusion. "What are you doing?"
"You don't smell." Izzy replied.
"Thanks." Sunny said warmly, before she realized what she just said. "Wait, what?"
"I was told all you Earth ponies smell like rotten sardines, but you do not. Hmm." Izzy shrugged.
"Hey Izzy, do I smell like rotten sardines?" Kay asked out of utter curiosity.
After immediately realizing how weird that question was, Kay didn't think she'd actually do it, but Izzy didn't seem to mind as she went up to me and promptly smelt kay as well. Once she did, she had a thoughtful look on her face, like she was trying to process the smell.
"No." Izzy soon replied. "Not even a little."
"What else do unicorns say about Earth ponies?" Sunny wondered.
"Oh, just that you're lazy and not the brightest crystals in the forest." Izzy answered.
"Charming." Sunny said sarcastically.
"Nope, just those three. So, what's the plan?" Izzy asked.
"Wait. I've got it!" Sunny's face lit up.
"What is it, Sunny?" Kay asked, curious as to what Sunny had planned.
"Izzy, kay, we're going on a quest... to Zephyr Heights."
Right as she said that, she pulled out a book from her saddlebag and threw it on the ground in front of them. The pages the book was opened to appeared to be a map, Sunny then pointed towards this "Zephyr Heights" which looked to be a city in the sky.
"The Pegasus city?" Izzy inquired.
"Yes. We need to find out what happened to your magic and bring it back. They have magic. Maybe they can help." Sunny thought.
"Great idea, Sunny." Kay commented, but Izzy didn't seem too sure about this plan of Sunny's.
"Uh, but the Pegasi are bad news." She said worriedly.
"What if you're wrong about them? Earth ponies were wrong about unicorns. They could welcome us with open wings." Sunny replied.
"But what if they don't?" Izzy asked with concern in her voice.
(Izzy)
Up ahead is a sky growing dark.
Where it leads is a big question mark.
And I'm scared that I'll end up
A pony gone missing from Pegasus-ing.
(Sunny and Kay)
But you're not alone!
You got a pony in your crew.
(Izzy)
I do, who?
(Sunny)
I'm lookin' out for you.
When you're off track-
(Kay)

(Sunny)
Back at home, it was "earth ponies first."
Heard it so many times, I could burst.
And I fought for a change,
But it's lonely, cause, you know--

At last they made it to the mountains of zephyr heights.
"Let's camp here for the night, we got a big day head of us" said kay.
"Good idea" said sunny.
Soon sunny, Izzy and Kay was fast asleep.
