Load Full StoryYet another morning had come, and not a soul was awake in the towering Royal Palace but Princess Celestia. Walking for a short distance in her personal quarters, the gold-lined room shined and reflected with a twinkle in her eyes. The royal
princess looked to the door. Approaching and opening it with magic, she looked down the hall. Spotting nopony, she continued outside.
The tower's stairs were all a brilliant pearly white, and were freshly polished by the janitor every evening. Squinting at their shine, she trotted down them rather quickly. Pegasus nor Alicorn flew in the palace, as it was all about class. Flying was for those in a hurry, and the impatient. She continued briskly down the hall to the left. The faint echo of each step could be heard down the halls, as the serene silence permitted even the smallest of noises to break its barriers and make the phonics known.
The beautiful white Alicorn with the flowing, multicolored mane had reached her study. Opening the door with more
magic,she entered the room bearing a smile. These were her favorite parts of the day, the quiet mornings where she got to
do what she liked to do best; write about her previous day. With no royal duties to perform just quite yet, she felt safe and secure and relaxed.
The room was painted in a baby blue, with small white roses painted occasionally across the foreground, the leaves of
which depicted golden and silver crowns. Sitting down to her parchment, the princess took a deep breath. Looking down,
she smiled and turned the page with a flash of yellow-outlined magic from her mystique horn. Reading the entry from the previous day, she let out a gentle sigh as she was able to recall every minute of her previous day. A meeting with the small group of the highest ranking of her guards, including Shining Armor, of course. A little tea and lunch with Luna around two o'clock. A stroll with the ambassador to the Crystal Empire. Reorganization of the Royal Library. What a day. Correction, what a BORING day. Being the ruler of an entire empire should be more dynamic than this. She did live eternally, but still. Seeing that there are an infinite amount of days,
