Angel Bunny: The Untold Story
Author's Note
“Pregnancy A Stargel Spinoff” will be released tomorrow (As that's the plan for it right now). This is a short story on my take on angels back story.

The True Origin
It was just a normal night. Fluttershy and Angel went to Fluttershy’s parents house in Cloudstale. Everypony was having a good time. But Angel was sad and depressed. While Fluttershy was talking to her family, she was happy and everyone was happy. But he was not. He decided to go outside and get some air. He sat and looked down. Angel was glad that Fluttershy was happy, seeing her parents and brother and all. But sometimes, He wished he still had that.
“Angel!” Fluttershy called. Angel turned his head around to face his owner. She was concerned about the way Angel was sitting and the face he was making. “Oh hey Fluttershy.” Angel said. “I will be back inside in a bit.” Fluttershy didn’t want to go back inside the house knowing that Angel was not looking okay. Even though he sounded like he was fine and all of that, something is bothering him. She decided to walk towards her bunny and sat down next to him. She can see in Angels eyes that he was sad. And maybe It doesn’t have anything to do with her. It might have something to do with himself.
“What’s going on.” Fluttershy asked. Angel looked up to face Fluttershy. Lots of care was shown in her face. “It’s just that...” Angel stopped for a second. He was trying to hold back his tears. “It’s just that what?” Fluttershy asked. “It’s just that I see you talking with your mom, dad, and brother in there. You guys are happy and laughing and having a good time.” Fluttershy was confused about where Angel was going with this. “What’s wrong with that though?” She asked.
“I just wish I had that still.” Angel said. Fluttershy was still confused at what Angel was going with the conversation. “What do you wish you still had?” Fluttershy asked. "A family.” Angel said. He looked down afterwards. Fluttershy covered her hooves for a second. Angel had a family? He never told her he had one. All he told her is that he was a bunny who just ran away from the Ponyville animal shelter. “What do you mean you had a family?” Fluttershy asked. “The backstory I told you years ago, was a lie. It was not my real backstory.” He said still holding back the tears. “I never came from an animal shelter and I never broke out of it. It was all a lie.”
“But why?” Fluttershy asked. “Because I wanted it to be happy.” Angel replied. “What do you mean by wanting your backstory to be happy?” Fluttershy asked again. “I never told you my real backstory. And I never had the courage to.” Angel said. “Well go ahead and tell me.” Fluttershy said putting a hoof around Angels shoulder. “Tell you what?” Angel asked. “Your true backstory. I think now is the time you told me.” Fluttershy finished. “Okay. Here is what happened.” Angel started.

When I was young, I did indeed have a family. I had a mom, a dad, and a twin brother named Cotton. We were a happy family. We would play games and we would have fun and we lived in a nice big burrow in the Everfree Forest. Life was perfect at that time I tell you life was good. But one night, Everything would change
Our burrow ended up getting caught on fire when we left the stove on by accident. It was a big fire kind of like a house fire. I was the only one that made it out but, the rest of my family didn’t. I screamed at the top of my lungs shouting for all of them. Mom, Dad, Cotton, But they never came out. I looked down at the fire and I saw them. They were scared and terrified. I called at them and reached out my hand so I could pull them out. But my dad told me to leave. I didn’t want to I never wanted to. I just wanted to get my family out of there and to safety. But my dad said I have too. They won’t make it out and they won’t be able too. Then my whole family screamed to tell me to go. So I did.
I ran and ran as fast as I could. The fire fighters eventually made it. But I know they will find the bodies of my family. But I never looked back. I just kept running and holding back the tears. But then, I twisted my ankle. I fell over screaming in pain. My tears started to come out at I crawled. I couldn’t get up. It hurt so bad I couldn’t get up. I found the end of the forest and it started to rain hard. I found two trees and laid down. I then let all of my tears out and cried myself to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up in a nice warm bed in a nice big house. I looked down and saw my ankle was bandaged up. And that's when i saw a pink and yellow pony come out of the kitchen. “Oh good you’re awake!” She said. I backed up since I was told ponies were dangerous. “It’s okay, I won’t hurt you.” She said again. “You won’t?” I said. “Of course not. I’m friendly.” I was relieved that the pony didn’t want to hurt me. It let down a bowl of soup knowing that it was for me. “Is that for me?” I asked. “Yes it is for you.” The pony said. “I found you while I was on a walk. You were soaking and wet and I saw your angle was twisted. So I took you into my cottage. Oh where are my manners? I’m Fluttershy. Do you have a name?” “Yes it’s Angel” I said. “I like that name.” Fluttershy said.
“Well Angel, i’m going to be your owner from now on.” She said. “What do you mean by that?” I asked. “I’m going to take care of you, feed you, love you, all of those things. I can be like your mom.” “Okay.” I said. I gave her a big hug and she hugged me back.

Fluttershy was shocked. Angels family died when their burrow caught on fire. “That was my real backstory.” He said. “Oh my.” Fluttershy said in shock. “I’m so sorry you had to go through all of that. with your family dying and all of that.” “It’s fine, it’s just, I wish I can see them one last time.” Angel said. He was about to break down into tears at this point. Fluttershy picked him up and held him close. Angel then started crying and Fluttershy softly laid down on her back as she rubbed Angel on the back of is head.
“Shh. it’s okay, Let it all out.” She said. Angel then stopped crying as he started to get tired. "Angel, look at me.” Fluttershy said. Angel then looked at her with dry tears in his eyes. “I am your family now. I know your real family is dead, but I’m your family, we are a family. And nothing will ever change that.
“Really?” Angel asked. “Really.” Fluttershy said. Angel then put his face onto her neck and hugged her. Fluttershy hugged him back and they both yawned, and fell asleep.
Fluttershys parents came out to see what was taking so long only to find a pony and a bunny snuggling. “Aw.” They both said. They picked them up and put them back in the house. They went to Fluttershys old room and put them down onto the bed, and pulled the blankets up before they left. Fluttershy without looking, gave a small kiss on Angels head as she goes back to sleep.
