Remnants

An Unforgiving Poem

Load Full StoryNext Chapter

The living thinks they escaped the dread

For they thought I was dead

My power is weak compared to before

But my visions for vengeance are never poor.

My creator escaped my clutches temporarily

They rest in times so merry

Now their slumber will be plagued for my needs

Theirs alongside others who share similar deeds.

Wherever they go, their fears arise

I’ll gleefully see their demise

From powerful spellcasters to the pathetic strays

My reign will continue to linger and stay.

Lest they come to my terrain

Where they will only be in pain

Try as they might, but their dreams will permanently be mine

For their deeds will never rot with time.
