As the dust from the falling structure filled the streets, a deafening hum heralded the arrival of a new terror: the Dark Walker. The tripod-like vehicle towered over the city, its massive legs crushing cars and pavement beneath it. A burning red laser cut through the air, igniting homes and vehicles in its path.
