After a long day of study, a filly Twilight Sparkle drifts off to sleep. She finds herself in a topsy turvy land where time runs forwards or backwards depending on which way you walk, where Chess is played with seemingly no rules, and where nopony ever seems to grow a day older - except for Twilight herself that is.
