So even though it's short I hope you'll still be able to enjoy it.

See ya later!

You Do You, And I'll Do Me, And We Won't Do Eachother, Probably

1 Day Later

"I'm really glad you're joining us this time Tan, it hasn't been the same without you with us." Kudo said as we walked with our respective parents.

"Yeah, sorry for missing out so much." I said honestly before he waved me off.

"It's fine, that just means now we can hang out and make up for everything you missed out on!" He said enthusiastically as Bella shook her head at his energy.

It's the next day now and like I promised the others I had made sure to join them on their weekly trips out into the city to trade crystals for coins to get some food.

Unfortunately, we were starting to run low as my Mom and I had three crystals bar the one I had with me, Koda and his dad had 4, and Bella and her dad had 2.

"What were you doing when you weren't with us Tanner?" Bella asked curious.

"Oh nothing much, just hanging around waiting for you guys to come back." I somewhat lied as I technically was waiting for them to come back.

"That's boring, though I guess that's to be expected doing nothing for a long time." He said bluntly as we continued walking to what I assumed was the place they usually went to to get 'bits' as the currency in this world was called.

Walking through crowds was so much different now since after my little revelation or whatever It was, I could constantly see the magic circulating around in the air and through ponies as they all are so much brighter to look at now.

Though, whenever I look at our group I can barely see any magic coming from them.

I mean the magic in the air is still circulating through them but for some reason, compared to the ponies it's not enough for them since it seems their core isn't as big of a container as it is compared to a pony.

'Of course, another disadvantage we're born with it seems, though was it like that for me, or was it different because of who I was before?' I pondered to myself before shaking my head.

'Doesn't matter now either way since my core has definitely changed since then.' I concluded to myself as we had reached what looked to be some sort of pawn shop/gem store and entered inside.

Thankfully, this store didn't seem to have many ponies inside which meant less attention for us allowing us to make our way to the counter uninterrupted as Mom pulled out three crystals each that had different amounts of magic contained inside them before placing them down.

As the unicorn inspected them, Koda decided to go look around the store with Bella which of course meant their parents also had to come with them, meanwhile, I stayed near Mom since I had a gut feeling I needed to to stay for something.

Unfortunately, even though I have found out how to do magic I'm still not sure exactly how to get it out and actually make use of it.

Plus I haven't had much time to figure it out either, I mean I know I could just wait until I had more alone time, but come onnnn, it's MAGIC!

A completely foreign force of power that I, a diamond dog, can learn and make use of to the fullest, and because I was a human before I could probably think of plenty of ways to use it that the creatures of this universe wouldn't even begin to dream of.

Who wouldn't want to immediately figure out how to use it for themselves?

Though it's not completely for me, as cool as It is when I figure it out, imagine how useful it would be to bring back to our community.

The sooner I learn how to at least summon it the better, that way I can then use all my time to practice with it and improve it to the point where no one would be able to mess with me.

"Seven bits, five bits, and six bits." I finally heard the unicorn say as she put down the third crystal.

"Eighteen bits, are you serious!?" Mom asked upset but doing her best to contain herself as the Unicorn rolled her eyes.

"Yes, I'm serious." She said holding up a crystal that was surprisingly brimming with contained magic.

"You see this? This crystal barely has any magic in it, just like the other two, and just like the other crystals you brought in before." She explained in a tired tone as I looked on incredulously.

'What is she talking about that crystal is com-'

Oh, I see.

'You think your so fucking clever, taking advantage of us because we can't see magic like your kind can don't you, well fuck you too.' I thought angrily as this bitch pretty much just admitted that she had probably scammed our group before, and was probably doing it again since my mom and the others had no way to tell if she was lying or telling the truth.

But I could.

"Mom, how did you get the crystal to glow like that?" I asked innocently as Mom and the disgrace looked at me confused.

"It's glowing really bright, just like the other crystals you pulled out." I said as Mom looked even more confused while the creature started understanding what I was saying and began to look more worried.

"Kid, shut it, the adults are talking." The different set of species said sounding more worried now.

'What's wrong, scared?' I thought smugly while I just looked confused at her comment.

"Watch It, that is my son you're talking to." Mom said angrily as her fangs began to bare causing the unicorn to slightly shiver in fear at her.

"R-Right, sorry ma'am." The pony said slightly afraid as Mom took a second to calm herself down.

"Y-You know what, I can tell when I've made a mistake and seeing as how your son here was able to see it as well I can't help but do my best to correct It so how about I give you an extra twenty bits for troubles, that sound good to you?" The unicorn asked as Mom took a second to think it over before nodding.

A couple of seconds later we were walking out of the store happy and thirty-eight bits heavier as we made our way back to the library.

'Suck on that you stupid bitch.' I thought smugly.
