In the midst of casting a spell, Twilight Sparkle transports herself in a ancient era at the wrong place at the wrong time.

There was a time in ancient history when Dinosaurs coexist with ponies - way before the era of the two sisters. One day one juvenile made a fatal mistake, for that mistake, the tyrant king casted a forbidden spell that wipe out every species of dinosaur to extinction. Not a single one was left alive.

Sixty-six million years later, Twilight Sparkle was in the midst of mastering a spell but made a fatal error doing so. For that error, she’s transported from Equestria—to an era she was unfamiliar with. She managed to find her way back but unaware that something followed her from the other side.
