Midnight and the Prince
Mending with Pain
Previous ChapterNext Chapter“Fucking Kane, I swear I would pay for him to be my first opponent!” Midnight sat across from Grem and her mother only nodded and smiled as she turned the spoon in her mug. They’d found a diner, and Grem had been the first in the back to hug her in a tight embrace. As soon as the Prince saw Grem, he nodded to Midnight and bowed out of the room, unnoticed.
After a few comforting words, it was clear that Midnight needed to speak to her in private. The diner was all but empty at that point. With the lunch rush fully gone, there were two tables, one with a younger pony on his phone, and an older couple talking about remodeling their house.
“Well, Midnight, I can tell you that he’s barely an issue right this moment. There’s a lot more that we need to talk about than some half-baked would-be influencer past his prime. You have a problem, Midnight.” There was a very long silence as Midnight looked down at her orange juice, which was half empty. “I know you want to talk about it.”
“You don’t know that.” Midnight said in a smaller tone that Grem had memorized since she was five. Raising the triplets was obviously hard on both her and Diamond Sword, but that didn’t stop her from mothering them as if she’d brought them into the world herself. Midnight knew that she and the triplets were adopted, and the information on her biological parents did not interest any of them in the slightest.
“Don’t I?” Grem asked and Midnight glared at her with a look that she was even more familiar with. “You didn’t talk to Vera.”
There was the first strike. It was true. They’d had maybe enough conversations to count on one hand and each of them lasted three sentences or less. She knew what she was doing and she did it anyway.
“Then, they come to find out that you’re here in Manehattan all of the sudden and that you’ve done all of these wondrous things with other ponies, but you failed to inform us of any of this.” Before Midnight said a thing, Grem pointed a finger for her to stop. “You had ample opportunity, whether this came out of nowhere or not. This family was built with rickety walls when we first began, but we have laid a much better foundation than that, Middy.”
There was the second strike, and this was a hard one. Midnight clammed up and tried to lift her orange juice glass, but found that she could not. There was no strength in her hand.
“Months, Midnight, they hadn’t heard from you for months. I can see why Vera decided to move in with Ember and I can’t fathom you even know where Dusk is living. You weren’t there to help them move, nor were you there when you needed them the most.” Grem said, and Midnight was twelve again. Acting out and punching a colt for cheating in a video game, slapping a classmate across the face for touching her hand by accident and chastising Vera for not doing her chores, this all began to flood as the motherly look began to pierce her.
Midnight tried to speak but the lump in her throat was blocking her chords. When that didn’t work, her arms crossed over her chest and she began to look down as her purple hair covered her face. They sat there like that for a long moment. Tears would randomly stream down her face and drop to her lap, but she refused to crack.
“I’m not here to scold you, Midnight. In fact, I’m very proud of you.” Grem said, and Midnight nearly had a conniption fit with how hard she whipped her neck in looking at her mother with slightly bloodshot eyes. “What? You were literally independent that whole time. No, I’m not going to say you should ever alienate us, ever again, but you also had me very worried for no reason on the front of taking care of yourself. You’ve kept yourself clean, you don’t have jelly rolls of fat on your belly and, oh my god I can’t tip my hooves around this anymore, that man you found is absolutely sublime and amazing!”
Midnight sighed, as this was typical and very expected. She looked down at her abs, which were no longer with the six pack, but only had a small layer of fat for comfort. She wasn’t in amazing shape, as she hadn’t done many physically active games apart from the night before. Her arms and legs were still aching, as was her neck.
“And…” Grem nearly lost her bearing as she put her hand to her mouth. A tear rolled down her cheek as she looked at her dear daughter and sighed happily. “You lost your virginity, and to a prince.” She said in a tone that couldn’t be heard from other tables.
This brought a great blush to Midnight’s cheeks as her eyes widened. Part of her was especially embarrassed and part of her wondered how in the world she could know that. Though, it made sense, given her mother’s affinity for the carnal arts. She finally took a long drink of her OJ, finishing it before putting the glass back down on the table.
“Yes, Mom, I did, but…” Midnight looked at her, then looked to the side. “I’m sorry…” She apologized and Grem blinked. “I know, I’ve been… quiet recently. Everything just died all the sudden. All of my plans were gone, we were going to start live streaming every other weekend as a team on the EGL and Ember…”
Grem took her hand and looked her in the eyes. This was always a sore subject, it would need to be one they broached soon. Not then, though. Grem held her hands in both of hers as she patted them. “I know, Midnight, I kind of did the same thing with his dad.”
“You what?” Midnight frowned, but not in anger, but extreme confusion. “Hold on, didn’t you…”
“Oh, like minks.” Grem admitted without question, drawing an annoyed look. “Are you kidding me? That pool chair at his house is mine for a reason. But honey, he never saw me as more than a friend and that is something I had to come to terms with. Part of me is glad I did, because then I may have never found the three of you.”
“And Dad?” She asked, making Grem chuckle.
“Well, obviously no one is going to replace him. They can try if they want my sword up their ass.” She gave a cute smile and Midnight rolled her eyes but only to keep from smiling. “Honey, life is long, but it’s also very, very short. I have been in slumps like yours, more than once. There is no shame in that. But if you’re going to push us away, we’re only going to keep coming back, Midnight. I want you to talk to Vera like I have talked to you now. Tell her it is not her fault, because it clearly is not. She takes these things very personally, and you are not going to confuse her. I have told her this, but it will mean much more coming from you.”
There was that cold place in her heart. Vera, the one she needed to protect from the world, from the bullies, had been the victim of her neglect. She couldn’t bring herself to argue the point, as it was very true. Vera probably was blaming herself for everything, despite what anyone said.
“And you are not to grow jealous now that she is taking it from Ember Wing on a regular basis.” Once the waitress had filled her glass with Orange Juice, Midnight nearly choked upon drinking before putting a napkin to her lips. “No, Midnight, the same was fair and Vera won. Oh, yes, they are a couple and I haven’t even had time to discuss it with them myself. I just happened to hear her screaming from her roo—”
“For God’s sake, Mother!” The angry tone of voice was met with startelement and Grem suddenly realized the details were a bit overly detailed. Midnight scowled toward her and then took a deep breath. “Yes, I know, I fucked up.” She admitted. She pushed her fingers to her t-zone. “Alright, I’ll definitely be talking to her.” As she looked back at her mother, though, it was clear she was drinking her coffee and looking around the room, as if innocent.
“Oh, nothing.” Grem said with a smile on her face as she eyed her daughter with a grin. “Don’t mind me.” She sipped her coffee again.
“Fine, yes, we had a… very good night.” As soon as Midnight spoke the last three words, Grem began to squeal in the back of her throat and giggle. “He’s not at all what I expected a Prince to be like. He’s weird, but in a normal way. You know?” As she spoke, Grem was suddenly transfixed. As she paused, Grem motioned for her to keep talking. “Yeah, well, he’s very nice and when he speaks French, I…” This drew very big eyes from Grem.
“Oh, that’s right, Prance! I’m a little jealous!” Grem began to giggle, knowing Diamond Sword didn’t know a single lick of French. The very thought of Diamond whispering sweet French nothings in her ear was enough to make her blush. “I can’t tell you how proud I am of you, Midnight. You thought life was over, but I can tell you, there will always be other doors opening, if you know where to look.”
Those words were a little out of character for Grem, but she saw such truth in them. Losing her team, missing Ember, and all of the turmoil she felt, it would take time to get back to one hundred percent. She knew she could do it, though. She’d come this far and she wasn’t going to squander such an opportunity.
As the day went on, though, she found that this new life she was looking at was quite the scary prospect. She’d gone to clothing stores, gone to eat and even gone to a Mega Video store to look at all of the new games she’d missed out on in her purging of them out of her life.
“So, looks like someone found a dashing prince.” She heard a voice say. She looked over the video shelves to see a ballcap that had a IX in the Demonhoof Logo. It was a new hat that was only available at the Game Tournament, and from the looks, she was #32, where the hat Midnight received beared a #3 on the rim. The girl in sunglasses looked up at her, and Midnight blinked at her smile.
“Hi… and who are you?” She asked and the girl giggled.
“I’m Angel Bright, and I’m ready to kill some demons. Aren’t you?” She asked as she held up the display case for Demonhoof 9, which had not been released yet. “I’ve got every confidence in you. Do you know why?” She asked, drawing a blink from Midnight. “Because princesses always win!”
This drew the strangest look yet. Midnight didn’t know what to make of this girl, nor was she sure if this was good natured ribbing. It certainly seemed that way as the girl smiled and put the case back on the shelf.
“Well, that’s wonderful, but I’m not a princess, and I’m not sure if I ever want to be.” She watched the girl as she walked around the shelf and smiled at her through the reflective sunglasses that covered most of the top half of her face. “Are you traveling incognito, or do you normally wear clothes to cover your entire body?”
The hat, the sunglasses and the very baggy clothes weren’t exactly alarming, but they most certainly hid a great portion of her fur. Her muzzle and her hands were the only parts of her body that were visible, and it was very noticeable.
“Well, yes and no. I’m rather famous, but thankfully, not around these parts. I’m sorry if I seem forward, but I would like to make a small request. Feel free to tell me no.” She offered and Midnight suddenly figured out that this was not a chance encounter. Who was this girl? “I would like to have a word with Prince Fraguer, in private. I only wish for you to be there, as I do not wish to arouse your suspicion. Give him this and he will understand.”
She gave Midnight a reflective card. She noticed that her fur was a lovely cream color as it came fully into the light and she took the strange card. It felt like glass more than metal, like a mirror with dull edges. She blinked at the girl and her lips were pursed, as were hers.
“Please, if you do not wish to do this, tell me. I would approach him if I were able, but what I have to say to him needs to remain very private and I would only draw attention to myself.” She explained and the truth in her words were so plain, she almost thought this could be a ruse just by how much she trusted her.
“I will. Are you sure you do not want to come with me to him? I can ask him while you’re at least closer.” Midnight said and Angel gasped a little bit with a very large smile. She shook her head, though.
“No, this needs to be done in a place that only we can be and I need to make a few preparations. Please, let him see the card and he will determine when he wishes to meet with me. Thank you so much, you don’t understand what this means to me. Good luck in the tournament. I’m rooting for you, above all.” Her smile was so genuine and her charm radiated from her, even with such baggy clothes. Her hoodie and her jeans were obviously far too large for her, but she seemed so comfortable in them.
“Th–thank you.” Midnight said and the girl nodded. They parted and Midnight put the card in her pocket. The sudden urge to ask questions came when the girl sighed with such giddy glee and she began to skip away.
The gray bat pony’s eyebrow went straight up as the girl tossed a brand new game over the counter and the clerk caught it with no issue. She was checked out with her new game before she even reached the register, as she had popped a bag of money into the air, which he also caught. Midnight stared at her as she did not stop skipping as she was given the game in a bag and the clerk waved her goodbye.
Midnight didn’t stop blinking…
Ooooo
To her surprise, the Prince messaged her at around six, and told her his appointments were done for the day. He’d gone to a meeting with the embassy, had a video call with the Prancian cabinet and even spoken to his father for slightly more than a minute.
To her further shock, he’d invited her to a club. When she got there, she heard a very familiar bunch of instruments playing inside. She walked up and saw the enormous crowd of people lined up all around the building. She took a chance, and figured she could walk up to the VIP section with the very large bodyguard. Behind the red pony with the muscles was a much larger Changeling she hadn’t noticed, but recognized immediately.
“There she is.” Regal said as she nodded toward her. The red pony eyed him, surprised, but then immediately unhooked the red divider, standing aside for her.
“Dude! That’s Midnight!” One of the crowd said, and she was taken aback as the entire crowd began to cheer and start asking her about the Prince.
They stopped, though, as Regal turned an annoyed gaze toward them. Midnight patted him on the bicep as she walked into the club and he opened the door for her, following her in like a gentleman. His annoyed look did not stop them from taking many photos, though.
She rolled her eyes as she saw who was on stage. Dusk was up on stage with his guitar, playing along with the Black Castles. Strawberry played a keytar right beside Sol on her bass and TotalSpark shredding along with Dusk.
They played hard rock and he was singing one of Sparky’s songs about Nightmare Moon, “Black Hole Queen”. She glared up at him as Dusk noticed her and smiled a bit. He hit the chorus, though and began to play along with the band once again as all of them banged on their instruments, Night Moon bashing his drums like they owed him money.
Regal led her into the corner, where a familiar Prince was sitting, but strangely, as he rose, he didn’t seem to stick by it. He walked out to meet her and they shared an amorous embrace. Normally, she noticed that so many new partners were nervous in public places. He even seemed more tentative than the normal ponies she had seen. For her, though, she noticed that he lacked any hesitation in meeting with her in a very small kiss. He kissed both of her cheeks as well, drawing more of a blush.
“Regal told me that your brother is in that band. He is the singer, yes?” He asked and she nodded.
“Yes, Dusk likes to show off the fact that Mother got him guitar lessons. I think my Dad is still his biggest fan.” She admitted and he chuckled.
“They are very talented, and he has a good voice. It almost makes me want to take lessons again.” He said, though with no conviction in his voice. “I’m afraid, I am less than musically inclined, mon amour.”
She giggled at his words and they began to walk toward the bar, where there were many patrons sitting and having drinks, watching the show. All of the tables were filled and Regal seemed to be the only deterrent they had keeping them from approaching. They raised their drinks, though and gave them cheers as they passed by.
To her surprise, the Prince had a beer and she ordered an Amber Sour.
“I wanted to go on the town with you, Minuit. I am not familiar with this city, and it is so beautiful. You are from Ranchtown, you said?” He asked and she nodded.
“Um, yes, and I don’t suppose you’d want to visit there?” She asked and he began to laugh.
“I plan to visit it very soon. From what I understand, it is full of the collège ponies and the beach is tres belle. It is also your home, which piques my interest a great deal.” He took a long quaff of his bottle and she couldn’t help but blush more.
“Oh, were you wanting to attend some classes? I happen to know a few of the teachers there. One of them is opening a class in my friend’s studio. He’s an English teacher.” She said and he smiled.
“Ah, yes, learning French, Abyssinian and English has left my dialect lacking.” He said and she scoffed. He shrugged and chortled. “I also heard the Princess was among the most marvelous of souls. Have you met her? I read that she is with a man that is also quite famous in Prance.” He admitted and she rolled her eyes as she shook her head at him.
“I have not met her and yes, I happen to know about Machismo as well.” She tried not to let on that he had been among her favorites when she needed some alone time to run a vibrating wand across her pussylips.
“Thank you, we’re taking a bit of a break.” Both of them heard Dusk say over the microphone as the band were putting their instruments onto their stands on stage and stretching.
“Oh, hell,” Midnight rolled her eyes and took a long drink as she noticed that all of them were approaching.
Dusk and Night Moon greeted Regal first and the Prince raised an eyebrow as they met in handshakes that were very familiar with one another. Night Moon even patted the large changeling on the shoulder as Strawberry and Sparky came to Midnight.
Midnight smiled at Sparky and met Strawberry, kissing her on the cheek. They all met with the Prince, and the pink pegasus girl couldn’t contain her excitement.
Dusk, however, stayed back and eyed Midnight. There was a smile, but it was somber as she turned to him. They met off to the side as she walked to him and neither of them seemed to be able to meet with eye contact.
“It was good to see you were alright.” He said and she nodded. “I saw you on the news. It was a bit of a shock.” Dusk almost stopped talking as he saw her sigh.
“Oh, cut the shit, Dusk. I was a bitch and I ignored you and Vera. At least have the courtesy to act angry with me.” Midnight put her empty glass on the corner of the bar as two patrons leaned out of her way. “Look, Dusk, I’m sorry. Everything was happening all at once and I got frustrated with it all.”
She was on the verge of tears as the two of them embraced and he gripped the back of her shirt. She let out a few sobs into his chest and he nodded.
“I know, Midnight, I understood what was happening.” He whispered into her ear and she let out another growl of frustration. “I’m only sorry I didn’t try to get in your head when I had the chance. I was going through the same things and I also didn’t handle it very well. I started not wanting to be sober and I drowned myself in the music and Dad’s old video games.”
She raised an eyebrow at him, knowing Diamond Sword possessed a very large collection of old Gauntlet System games that had 8-bit graphics from a bygone era. Midnight was never a big fan of them, but he and their Dad had raised him playing them.
“It all sucked, and I knew it. Vera, though, I tried to keep up with her, but she went with Ember to help Night make that game and all of us just got busy. Mom probably gave you a scolding, but know that I had a very similar conversation with her and I need to have this conversation with…”
“No, Dusk, let me talk to her. You’ve at least been keeping some contact. I need to do that.” She surprised him with the confession and volunteering. There was a silence as they stood near one another and the automatic music was playing over the speakers.
She hated the exposure while discussing such things with her brother, but it couldn’t be helped. She needed to vent all of this out and get it off her chest before she could make peace with it.
Midnight turned back to the Prince to see he was talking to Sparky and Strawberry as they fawned over him a little. Their smiles were very large, but they kept their excitement down from seeing one of their all-time favorite gamers in the professional sense. The fact that he was royalty from Prance hardly entered the equation.
“No, I play the flute.” He admitted and Sparky beamed at him.
“Wow! You don’t see many flute players in the live band scenes. They’re as rare as keytar players.” Sparky said, though, back in the 80’s, they were everywhere. Strawberry nodded vigorously.
“Yeah, if I’d have known I could meet someone like you, I’d have gone to more band practices.” Strawberry confessed, drawing a slightly annoyed look from Sparky.
That was when Sol stepped up toward the Prince with her blue bass guitar in her hands and held it up to him. As he told her before, he leaned down toward it with his marker pen, once again, provided by Regal. He signed it and even drew up a crude Demonhoof II logo on it.
“Sweet! I’m getting clear tape for this one!” Neon Sol said, and it wouldn’t be long before he signed all of their instruments, much to Midnight’s annoyance.
“Wow, Dusk, way to not act lame.” Midnight said, giving him an angry expression as he also held up his beautiful rounded body white guitar.
“It is non problem, Minuit.” The Prince smiled at her as he signed Dusk’s guitar, this one with Demonhoof’s original logo. Effectively, he’d gone through and signed all of their guitars with Demonhoof logos from the first six games. All of them were legible, but wobbly, as he wasn’t an especially gifted artist.
“There, Midnight, now all is forgiven.” Dusk said, causing her to give him murder eyes.
“I will kill you in your sleep!”
OOOoo
Regal kept his distance, not minding at all, as he was accompanied by the lovely cat woman. Both of them were to let them have their date, unbothered by both of them while also remaining in their protection. He walked across the busy sidewalks, and those who noticed him seemed not to mind letting him by.
“So, you prefer Dragon Helm over Demonhoof? I have a level 70 ranger on Dragon Helm 2, but I never found the need to start over with Dragon Helm 3.” He shrugged and she nodded.
“I started from scratch every time. I was never a huge fan of muling for high level starter equipment.” Midnight said as he nodded. “I always preferred paladins. My mom has always been a Black Knight. She has one of the biggest guilds in her server. Of course, that’s because all of her friends play too. She even got my Dad into it, from what he says.” Midnight pressed the crosswalk button as they waited for cars to pass.
They had five people honk at them while two of those cars rolled down the window and hooted with their hands out the window. He gave them a small wave as they passed and all of them began to cross together.
As they kept going down the sidewalk, he stopped for a moment, looking into one of the windows. He stepped back for a little bit as he looked at the sign on top of the building. It was a strip, and most of the shops were bars. Though, they had just about every store you could want, from hardware stores to pool stores. The one he stood in front of, she was very surprised to realize, was a tattoo parlor.
“What? Seriously? Were you wanting to get a tat?” She asked and he rubbed his chin as he squinted at the pictures.
“My father would absolutely kill me.” He admitted, but that did not stop him from walking into it.
Both Regal and Rein were flabbergasted, but the look he gave them told them that they had no say in the matter. Midnight eyed them, then followed him in. It smelled like body odor and cheap sterilization. There only looked to be three patrons, and one of them turned to see them enter as they were on three tables in a row of five.
There were tiny and medium pictures of everything ranging from cartoon turkeys to angels standing over gravestones with “Your text here” written in as placeholders. She had never been inside one of these places, and she was fascinated by how dirty it all looked, aside from the pristine chairs for the customers.
“Welcom—Whoa!” One of them looked up from drawing ridiculous designs on a woman’s tits, to see who entered the shop. The woman was quite annoyed. She was a little older, but her breasts were huge and out in the wide open. Though, once she saw what he saw, she gasped.
“Oh my God, is that the Prin—” She was about to say, but then she noticed the very large bodyguard out in the sidewalk, who eyed her dangerously. Then he licked a bit of his ice cream.
“Bonsoir, I am thinking I may mark my body for the rest of my life.” He said and all three of the tattoo artists looked at each other.
“Yeah, yeah, sit down, you nuts. I’ll handle it.” Another one stepped out of the backroom. She was a taller, leaner pony who eyed the two of them. She had very dark purple fur and a mane of silver and gold. She was quite shapely, but also had tattoos of heart designed, cheshire cat designs and mushrooms over most of her torso. “Sup? I’m Inky. You looking to get a tat or two?”
“Oui, madam, I think I will do one for the game that got me started on this wondrous journey. Demonhoof II is my favorite game, and I wish to commemorate such a momentous occasion.” He said and Midnight gave him an odd look. “Could you put the old helmet, make it black, with my signature lava molten effect?” He asked, pulling out his phone and showing her his in-game armor.
“Sure,” she shrugged, “if you want, it’d probably take about three hours, but I think I can finish it tonight.”
“Tres bonne.” He nodded to her and then she turned to Midnight, whose eyes widened.
“What about you?” She asked, and Midnight looked at Fraguer, who eyed her curiously as well.
Midnight had to think. There were images of her own original Demonhoof armor and she loved the darker shade of purple that went along with her gray wings. That was when she looked at the other side of the wall and eyed some things that drew her attention.
“Oh, you want to be a bad girl?” She asked as she eyed where Midnight was looking.
OOOoo
The next morning, Midnight’s head was throbbing slightly and her mouth tasted like she ate moldy bread. She squinted and looked around, seeing that the bed only had a loose sheet on it, and the fitted sheet was crumpled into the center. A corner of it was wrapped around her shoulder. She looked down to see that they had put many wet spots on it that were now dried.
She was naked and her pussy felt like she’d spent the entire night punching it, but it was not a very bad feeling at all. That was when she felt a very sharp pain in her boob as she rolled over onto it and pressed it against the mattress.
“Son of a bitch!” She hissed, her head hurting even more as she looked at her nipple, her eyes widening. She had two very large studs in her tits, complete with ball-bearing on either side of her nipples. They hurt so bad that any moment of her tits seemed to set them off. “Oh, fuck, I actually did it.”
“Oh! Ma tête.” He said as he held his head and hissed as well. Then he looked at her and his eyes widened. “Mon dieu, they turned out fantastique.” He observed as he got a good look at her dark grayish black nipples that now held silver and seemed to remain hard.
She looked at him, a little annoyed, but then noticed that he was suffering from quite the hangover as well. She tried to remember last night, but once the booze started, it seemed like it didn’t stop. “Okay, I know this is a stupid question, but how much did I drink?”
“After the first piercing, you had half a bottle of rum.” He said and she scoffed. “You said it helped with the pain in your nipple. I can’t imagine they feel good now, oui?”
“No, actually, they feel like two hot bits of coal.” She hissed as she tried not to touch them, but it was so difficult. They were so hard and she wanted to feel the bearings because they were cold, but she had to restrain herself. “What about you?”
As she asked, he was already turning around to show her the most awesome tattoo she’d ever seen. Not only did they get his signature helmet for the original armor in the game, but they also had his double-barreled shotgun. The logo “Demonhoof II” was right below it and she’d shaded the letters into the familiar red and black metal.
“Damn, I should have gotten a tattoo…” She said, but then she realized that she was also feeling a tingling, slight burning sensation on her back.
“You did, mon amor.” He said as he pulled his phone from the side of the bed and showed her.
It was her, alright, and she was smiling like an idiot with a bottle of Amber Cat in her hand as her tits were out, already pierced, and Inky was going at her with a tattoo pen. “What?! Holy shit, how long were we there?”
“Until four, I believe,” he turned to see that his alarm was two minutes from going off, to his dismay. “Oh, merde, my father will be expecting a call very soon.” He held his forehead with a sigh, but then realized that she wasn’t even listening.
She held up his phone in amazement, seeing that she had gotten a very similar tattoo on her back. Her helmet was purple, her rocket launcher crossed the back and Demonhoof was plastered underneath it. The first episode of the first Demonhoof game was, by far, her favorite of them.
“Wait, you mean we have matching tattoos now?” She asked and he chuckled a little bit as he sat on the side of the bed and stretched. His morning wood was enormous and he got up as it wobbled like an ironing board.
“Oui, mon amour. We are now official, for better or worse.” He smiled at her and she rolled her eyes.
There was no sexy time for them that morning. Her vagina already felt like they went a few rounds when they got back to the Prance Embassy, and it was obvious that the idea of talking to his father did not put him in the mood. She had to point her tits away from the water in the shower as they bathed and both of them did not feel very well from all of the liquor.
“Mon Prince!” Rein said as they entered the main room. “Vous ne devriez pas vous enivrer autant avec des gens que vous ne connaissez pas!”
“Je ne suis pas d'humeur à recevoir des leçons. I will drink with whom I like, when I like and I am not to be disturbed for the next hour. Comprend?” He demanded and this was the first time she had seen him act more like royalty was expected to act. He turned to Midnight as Rein ducked her head down in compliance with a small apology. “Pardon moi, mon amour, but I must ask that you go for a little while. My father already knows about you, and he is not happy that I did not tell him beforehand.”
By the way Midnight looked at him, his understanding was symbolized with a nod. Then she remembered that they were talking about the literal Patriarchy, and such things were a bit more complicated than a normal familiar affair. The thought that she would speak against the King of Prance in such a manner may have been a very bad idea.
“Do not worry, Minuit. My father controls far less of me than he thinks. I must retain my title and my respect for the crown, but he will accept you as I do, or he will find my defiance.” He assured her and her cheeks began to flush. The thought that he would literally go against the King just for her was a bit more romantic and slightly heroic than she would ever expect.
That thought made her remember something. Before they embraced for her to leave, she stopped him. Her arm grazed her boob slightly and she remembered that embraces were a bad idea for the moment. Then she reached into her pocket and pulled out a reflective card that made his eyes bug out.
“Mon amour!” His voice was shocked as he pointed at the card. “Where did you get that?” He asked as she handed it to him and he held it like an artifact of the highest worth.
“Some girl gave it to me in a video store yesterday and I kind of forgot about it. What is it?” She asked and he shook his head.
“This could mean many things, but it is something that will have to wait until later.” He seemed so hesitant to put it in his pocket as he sighed. He smiled at her, as if there were something ever so exciting. The look he gave her was strange, but also very enlightened. “You truly are marvelous, Minuit. I want you there when I meet with this girl you speak of.”
She nodded to him and they kissed as they held hands. There were so many questions, but it was plain, as his expression darkened, that he was going to have a phone conversation he did not want to have.
Midnight left and Regal gave her a ride to the hotel Grem had given her the address of. She was expected, it seemed, as the hostess gave her a room card immediately as she saw her.
As she walked up to the door, she heard the unmistakable voice of her mother, and even heard Vera speak. This brought a little smile to her face until she opened the door.
She was treated to a sight she had not been prepared for. Both Vera and her mother were crouched in front of Ember and all of them were naked. Grem had his cock directly down her throat as Vera watched with an astonished expression. Her blowjob was obviously quite luxurious, as it even took Ember a moment to realize that Midnight had walked in on them.
The gray bat pony at the door immediately shut it as she stepped inside. Grem eyed her and slowly slid the cock from her mouth, sucking him the entire way. “Oh, hi, Midnight! You caught us at a great time.” She purred and looked up at a bit of a bashful bat girl.
“Hey, Midnight,” Vera waved to her with a shy smile before Grem handed her the very large, hard brown cock.
“Alright, like I showed you. Make sure to keep up the suction and lick his shaft all the way to the tip. You need to milk that cum out of his cock before your jaw gets tired.” Grem instructed and Vera nodded before beginning to try it out. “Very good, look at his expression. Eye contact while you suck a man’s cock makes him feel more powerful and in control.”
“Hey, Ember,” Midnight waved to him and he smiled at her. “Sorry to… interrupt.”
“Not at all, honey. We just need to—oh, very good, honey!” Grem looked at her daughter as Ember’s breathing began to harshen. Vera was sucking his penis with much more vigor as she applied her mother’s technique. It wasn’t long before Vera squeaked and began to drink.
The way Ember looked down at Vera as he came in her mouth had Midnight raise an eyebrow. It reminded her of how Fraguer looked at her when their lips met on those theater seats. There were so many realizations in that moment that she barely noticed that Vera had let Grem have her boyfriend’s cock to play with as she walked to her sister.
Midnight looked down at the shorter purplish blue bat pony who seemed as if she had a bit more confidence in her hooves. She wasn’t meek toward her, but the elder could sense hesitance in her steps. Without warning, Midnight held her to her and leaned her chin onto Vera’s head. The pain in her nipples burned, but she didn’t care right then. The blonde mare’s eyes widened as they stayed there for a long moment.
As Vera wrapped her arms around Midnight, the hurt could be felt. The physical pain was nearly nonexistent by comparison, and the sudden sob Vera gave cut through her like a very hot blade. They walked into another room as Grem smiled at them, then gave the young man’s big boner a nice big kiss.
They went to the other room connected to that one and shut the door. The two of them held onto one another very tightly as it was Midnight’s turn to sigh. The room was dark, as it held all of their luggage and purchases from the trip and it was obvious the rest of them were not there at the moment.
“I’m so sorry.” Midnight whispered to her as she petted Vera’s hair. There were more sobs into her shoulder as her little sister nodded. “I’m so, so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you. I didn’t mean to leave you.”
While her sister cried against her, Midnight’s eyes trickled down her cheeks and she rubbed her back. The tears soaked into her shirt, and Vera nodded again. They stayed like that for a long while before they finally decided that sitting on the bed was far more comfortable a place.
Vera leaned onto her sister’s shoulder as she ran a brush through her mane and they calmed down from their initial emotional outburst. Midnight cried quite a bit, and it felt good. This felt so right and seeing her sister was safe and well did wonders for her subconscious brain.
“So, you got him, did you?” Midnight remarked and drew a worried look from her sister. This was laid to rest as it was clear she was not at all angry. “You knew I liked him, Vera, but no, I am not angry at all. I knew they were going to break up and I still did nothing. You were there with him and you were there to comfort him.”
Vera shook her head and sighed. “No, Midnight, he was fine with their breakup, because he saw it coming too. When she made all of those plans for the Ponylimpics, it was obvious we were not part of them.”
Midnight rolled her eyes and kept dragging the brush through her hair. “Well, either way, you stayed with him through all of that work and I’m going to be honest, I’m only jealous because you two work so well together.” She nodded as Vera widened her eyes. “Yes, I see a difference in you. I can see his influence already and I’m liking what I see. You’re right for each other.”
The very high pitched squeal in the back of Vera’s throat made her blush hard as her excitement overtook her. “I didn’t know how I was going to tell you. That makes me so happy.” She admitted as she purred. “I didn’t expect any of it, but he was so nice and so willing to help me, no matter how I needed him. I just want to be there for him and become a stronger girl so I don’t need him so badly.”
This part was rather obvious and that sent a pang of guilt through her once again. Vera was not helpless, but her personality was so passive and there were so many problems in the world that overwhelmed her. The thought of her being alone with that good-for-nothing girlfriend sizzled against her psyche. The fact that Ember took up the mantle so readily was a severe blessing in disguise.
“So, how did you get him to say yes?” She asked and Vera began to blush all across her face.
“He asked me what would make me feel better and I told him that I wanted him to fuck my brains out like a horrid little trollop.” This caused the brush to start moving as Midnight eyed her with a bit of a shocked expression. “Then he put me on the bed and pounded me until I saw the face of every deity in the books…”
The confession caused Midnight to wonder how in the world she knew so little of her own sibling. Evidently, their mother’s influence had more control over them than they had expected.
“What about you? You got quite a guy. Was it magical?” Vera asked in such an innocent tone that made her almost forget she was talking like a porn actress only a moment ago.
“Yes, Vera, he was not at all what I expected and I’m still not sure where we’re going from here.” She admitted and Vera looked away for a moment. “What is it, dear?”
“Well, if he goes back to Prance… does that mean you’re going with him?” Vera asked and the sudden pile of bricks landed on Midnight’s brain in quite the bombastic fashion.
It was always a wonder that her sister’s insights were so astute, yet went unnoticed by the general public. She hadn’t even thought about the fact that her “boyfriend” lived at least three thousand miles away, across a small ocean. After this tournament was done and he was done “studying” abroad, what was his plan?
The look on Vera’s face grew more and more worried until Midnight cupped her cheeks with her palms and pointed her face toward her. She gave her a kiss on the snout and then leaned her forehead against hers in their shared symbol that it was all okay.
“Vera, I am not going to leave you again. I promise, I will never shut you out like that. I’m so sorry, but it seems like all three of us were trying to find our way after everything went wrong.” Midnight sighed and Vera nodded as the two of them cuddled on the bed and leaned against the mattress. The feeling was so familiar, it gave them both goosebumps. They hadn’t made a triplet pile in so long, just being there was making her wonder why she ever would do all that she did. “I don’t know, Vera. I love Prince Fraguer, and it’s only been a day. All those times I told you never to trust a man so quickly and here I am, wondering about any sort of future with him. I can tell you that he will not come between us, and he doesn’t seem to want to. In fact, he finds you quite fascinating.”
Midnight looked at her astonished expression and nodded. Then Vera’s face went beet red once again as it turned out, the Prince was there at the convention they were in. He must have been incognito and quite observant, because he had seen them in their cosplay, kissing and holding on to one another.
“You’ve already asked him to marry you.” Midnight wasn’t asking and Vera rolled her eyes.
“Look, if you had your pussy plunged by a boy from your childhood, I am certain you would be asking similar questions.” Vera shot back and Midnight was a little astonished. “Listen.” She pointed toward the other room.
Grem rode Ember’s big fat dick and her gray bat ass slapped against his lap. She grinned toward him as she plunged her pussy down on his big rod and she couldn’t help squirting some as she came yet again and gritted her teeth. “See, Ember? Still nice and tight.” She gasped as she spoke. Every time he hit her cervix at just the right angle, she couldn’t help but let out a high pitched squawk.
Midnight sighed, pinching her t-zone. “You are very accepting of your own mother fucking your boyfriend.” She said and Vera giggled.
“I wanted my mouth to feel as good as my pussy and it took entirely too long to get him off with my tongue.” The purple pony admitted as her sister continuously shook her head in deep judgment. “I think Mom could convince your boyfriend to move here and be with you forever, if he saw how well she could train you.”
“Oh, shut up,” Midnight groaned, quite annoyed as she patted her sister on the cheek. Vera began to giggle profusely as her sister exasperated. Then there was a sudden gasp as she winced. Vera pulled away suddenly as she had leaned her hand onto her boob.
Before she could ask, she suddenly noticed that she wasn’t wearing a bra, and the contusions in her shirt made her nipples look alien. Midnight rolled her eyes and revealed her nipple piercings to her sister, who gasped in absolute befuddlement. The astonishment was compounded as she revealed that she also had artwork put on her back. It was still red on the edges, giving it an awesome tinge against her gray fur.
“Wow! Now I kind of wish I played more Demonhoof. You wouldn’t let me when I was little.” Vera accused and Midnight gave her a very familiar, annoyed look.
“It had spinal chords and ribcages splattering against floors and walls, of course you shouldn’t have been playing it. You remember what happened when I caught Dusk playing it in the living room.” Midnight pointed with a glare. The sibling fight they had turned to a grappling match as he stopped her from telling their Dad. Diamond only became angry because he used up all of his save slots when he only needed one.
It boiled down to Vera putting her head on Midnight’s shoulder and sighing. It was clear that she was just happy to be there. She was so happy to be with her sister again and be able to tell her all of the wonderful things that had happened to her recently. Midnight never liked her hippogryph girlfriend, saying she was a very bad influence on her and it took a long time to find out that she was right. All of the insecurities gone amiss and all of the complaints ignored. It felt too good, making it hard to discern as a toxic relationship.
There was none of that now. They had each other and Midnight made it very clear that they were going to stay like that.
As they returned to the room, Grem’s tits were being doused in a heavy load of cum. Ember was jerking himself off after clearly plowing their mother into multiple orgasms. “Very good, Ember. Now, you need to learn how to recover from two orgasms and fuck my daughter until she cums as well.” The mother batpony smiled sweetly at him as his eyes bugged out and he looked at Vera, who beamed at him. She was still very naked and it took her no time at all to jump onto the bed on all fours.
As Midnight witnessed her little sister get into a position where she showed off her vagina and asshole, she rolled her eyes. This was typical.
