Onyx is currently twelve and she stood looking in the mirror - looking back at her was the girl who just beaten for getting into another fight. Her father had spent thirty minutes verbally abusing her and her mother spent thirty beating her. Onyx was black-haired and her hair was tipped with varying hues of red. Onyx's parents were both red foxes, Onyx knew and figured out that her genetics were the result of what she deduced was that her mother had cheated on her father. Onyx had gotten into trouble for fighting at school, she had beaten another kid with a text book.
"Onyx! You fuckin, whore get down here and eat you're gonna be late for school!" Storming down the stairs she retaliated.
"I'm coming bitch!" Her mother flew off the handle and grabbed Onyx the moment she hit the tiles of the kitchen. Onyx wasn't a pure fox, her darker hair came from the DNA of a wolf. Onyx snapped and fought back. Onyx's mother was a bit taller and had a little more weight to throw around. Onyx got pinned and her mother in her own fury let her fists fly. Battered and bruised Onyx stood and spat on her mother. Onyx's father had just come home from his night shift and when he heard what had transpired he was furious.
"You little shit!" Onyx got kicked to the floor and the verbal abuse came fast and furious whilst still be kicked. "I told your mother to abort you! You're nothing but a bastard to me, fucking look at yourself! You're smaller than any other wolf pup and taller than any fox pup!"
"At least I don't have your damned anger issues you old fag! I'm not your daughter! Maybe my own fucking mother wouldn't have been such a whore and a slut to sleep and fuck whoever came along while you with your two degrees work all night! Hell, should I tell mother... your bitch wife that you're cheating on her? Shit! The other morning I saw text waken your phone screen and the number was saved under 'Side Chick'."
Onyx was was still laying on the floor when her father stopped kicking her. Onyx stood, bruised and angry. Looking at the breakfast that her mother made for her, she picked up the plate and threw the food in the trash. "That's where you belong mother...in a landfill rotting. Father I want you to kill yourself."
At the bus stop Onyx saw Scootaloo just minding her own business until the latter saw her. "What happened to you? You look awful. Onyx....can I ask you a question?"
"Ask the question and how I respond is dependent on you."
"Do your parents beat you or abuse you? I'm worried about you, you are always bruised or limping."
"Ask about my welfare again.....I'll cut you." Onyx said as she looked down the street toward her own home. Scootaloo got the answer she wanted and expected. Scootaloo had texted Applebloom to let Applejack know what was happening just in case they needed to bail Onyx out of trouble. Scootaloo had no idea how long she'd have to observe Onyx destroy herself before the wolf half breed would be begging for her help.
At School
Scootaloo and her friends ate lunch and noticed that Onyx wasn't eating or hadn't eaten at all that week. "So Scoots....This morning, how fresh did you say the visible bruises were?"
"Sweetie Belle....Applebloom, they were fresh and considering the fight two days ago, I'm worried, how far would she go before she let us help her?"
Applebloom responded, "Applejack and Big Mac said that it could soon or even years before she asks for help. Look at Onyx, she's always so....alone, her body even at this distance anyone can see it's rigid with rage. She's ridid with rage and yet when she's not an angry girl she's the most adorable girl I can think of. My fear is once we hit highschool, she might find the wrong crowds."
Meanwhile
Onyx saw several pairs of feet and looking up she saw the colt she fought the other day and two of his friends. "Peso, now isn't a good time, move along." Onyx was trying to keep her voice level, her anger from that morning was still burning. The other two, Button Mash, Featherweight stood silent. Peso was still mad for being punched that he felt the need to retaliate.
"Onyx, you stupid half breed, my parents say you're an iligitimate and you should've been aborted." Onyx stood and swung with her left and tackled Peso and began to lay every hit she could. Featherweight and Button Mash pulled her off only to get punched. Peso had called another friend to come help. This colt stood taller than Onyx and he weighed at least thirty more pounds than she did.
"Remington, stay the fuck out of this!" Onyx screamed but Remington grabbed her and threw her to the side with such force that Onyx hit an empty table and flipped or rolled off of it and hit the next table. Remington and Peso jumped her the moment she stood and the pair left her no room for defense. Peso laughed as Onyx lay in the ground curled up and sobbing and mumbling about being sorry and wishing she was dead. Peso stepped back and he began to see why Onyx attacked him the other day. Remington was still fuming that this half breed would attack a friend of his and he began his relentless assault. Onyx covered her face and blocked. Peso yanked his friend off and that's when Peso and Remington found the box cutter that Onyx had been concealing in her pocket. Hiding it so the principle wouldn't see it, those who had seen the blade kept their mouths shut. Onyx knew that when her parents picked her up that she'd get beat again. Scootaloo had seen the blade and her concern sky rocketed.
Back Home
Onyx Stood in front of her parents glaring daggers. "Peso started it, and I fucking ended it. Everyone in this damn town knows I'm a fucking half breed, I wouldn't have these shit problems if you mom weren't or hadn't been a slutty whore and cheated." Onyx's mother stood and she grabbed her nearest weapon and with her all her might she slammed it into Onyx's head. Onyx glared into her mother's eyes and and let her mom try to smash her face in. Her father yanked his wife off and kicked Onyx a total of twenty times. "It's a fucking miracle that you've hadn't killed me!" As Onyx stood, a baseball bat was swung and Onyx felt a few of her ribs snap. Screaming Onyx hit the floor.
"I'm gonna kill you! I should've aborted you! Well now, I guess better late than never!" Onyx felt her body getting battered and the metal bat was breaking or fracturing her bones. Her father by now had jumped in to stop his wife. As Onyx lay there not moving, she saw her own father kill her mother. Onyx was freaking out when her father went to his study and came back with his semiautomatic pistol. He emptied two twelve round magazines into his wife. Turning toward Onyx he knelt beside her and pressed the gun to her face. "I hate you with every fiber of my being. Onyx coughed and as she painstakingly turned her head blood came from her mouth as she coughed. Her farher laughed as he then turned the firearm to his own head and pulled the trigger. Blood went everywhere and it got all over onyx's face. Onyx desperately crawled to a phone and dialed EMS. Everything went black and the last thing her vision saw a figure desperately crawl through the living room windows and running to help her. Onyx didn't want to die so she hoped that her next family would help live.
