On the cusp of receiving the finest lessons on magic a pony can have, Clover the Clever is sent to Fillydelphia. The knowledge she receives there is more fundamental than anything Starswirl could teach.
In the midst of the formalization of the fiefdoms, troubles are not unheard of. The land in the wake of the Windigos is unkempt, and in dire need of ponydom’s touch. But first, disputes between ponies must be quelled and brought to peace; some stubbornly cling to antithetical tribalist beliefs.
Clover the Clever finds herself drafted ad hoc to counsel one such conflict.
It is a lesson without disguise.
